inbox full of this rubbish spam , the. even more rubbish saying they have got extra discounts etc , dot waste any of your hard earned money here

I left a review about the constant spamming from Whole in One Golf also trading as Pinnacle Media Partnerships on 18th December.

Also on the 18th December, Mike in The Whole In 1 Golf Team (see message below) tried to get my honest and factual review removed and said that he had removed my email address.

THIS WAS A LIE

Since that date I have had two spam emails from Matthew Mullan at Pinnacle Media Partnerships and a third from Jack Simpson.

So clearly Mike in The Whole In 1 Golf Team has lied about removing my email address and used that lie to get an honest review removed, as is usual behaviour by WIG aka Pinnacle.

Additionally, WIG aka Pinnacle then tried to get Trustpilot to send me a customer verification request to provide my Name, Email, Phone and Customer Reference.

This was obviously another tactic to try and get an honest and factual review removed.

As I am not and will NOT EVER be a customer of WIG aka Pinnacle I had no reference other than the subject heading of their spam emails to use.

* I have retained all emails from WIG aka Pinnacle and will now take this further.

WIG aka Pinnacle, you could stop all of this by simply stopping your spamming

We have unsubscribed your email address and domain on your behalf. You could have done this yourself and saved yourself a bit of time as the options to do this are on the email.

We kindly request that this review is removed with immediate effect

Mike, your 12th Jan message gives three options.

However, whilst myself and countless others didnt consent to the emails and there are other reviews saying that unsubscribe function is ignored may I reiterate my original request.

Lets call it option 4.

Stop sending spam, not just to me, but to everyone and change your emails to opt in rather than the scrape every address off the internet method you use now and then you'll not hear form me again.

You have consistently dodged this basic and easy request but it is clear you have no intention to stop sending spam and that says all most people need to know about your business.

Having been with Whole in One Golf for almost two years I assumed my contract would come to an end, however, there is a clause in the contract to give a 6 month cancellation notice.

Please don't fall victim to the traps of others and fall for the sales speeches and other propaganda surrounding this business. I have had absolutely zero results from this campaign and zero feedback over my term with this company. I had far more results on a cheap Facebook Marketing Ad and would suggest avenues such as this or investing in Ads in the local paper.

I had friends use the four ball once and asked them to keep an eye out for our Ad. Couldn't see it anywhere, so either it wasn't there or its visibility is extremely poor. Nobody should have to hunt for an Ad.

To be honest you are paying for four balls and that is it. Poorest piece of business I have ever had.

Upon advising Mike that I would be leaving a review I was accused of being a bully and issuing threats. Apparently exercising my rights shouldn't be allowed but they like to aggressively pursue their own.

The line that showed their level of business to business attitude was - "It appears that we are to blame for the fact that you have either not read the contract at POS, simply forgotten or both." Never have I seen such a lack of professionalism in my life. The arrogance that is displayed didn't appear when I was being sold the product.

In response to your reply I will be delighted to show anyone every piece of correspondence from you including my replies to your emails which you say do not exist. I will also show anyone who would like to see my contract does not have the cancellation clause highlighted at the top of my contract.

Anyone interested and would like proof please contact me and I will send you everything I have so you can make an educated judgement.

You are right though - more fool me for accepting your contract without being thorough. Good luck on catching more fools like me. Mike is Client "relationship" manager & Retentions manager - I have never had any more than a few emails from these guys and then demands for money. Some relationship that. When a product is sold I expect them to be pro-active but unfortunately that makes me a fool again.

Before you reply Mike if you gather everything you have sent to me to make my journey better then we can share it with everyone. Thanks again.

EDIT: After further extensive emails the latest reply from Mike is "Ok I am not going round in circles as that does nobody any good as we have made it clear what our obligations are."

Again a blatant disregard for customer relations. Getting a great feel for this company who have been rude since I questioned the contract renewal.

Received a further email today outlaying everything I should have done or where I have failed which I'm sure I should feel grateful for. Anyway contract was terminated under Clause 53 as our services had been interrupted for over 90 days due to COVID. Thank goodness that experience is over and will never be repeated.

I didn’t claim it wasn’t auto renewal.
You were sent the artwork but lost it. I have an email chain to prove it.
I didn’t use a lot of the services - correct. No advertising was down at all. It was purchased as an advert not really for playing golf.
Keep replying if you want mate. Makes no difference to me. No longer in business with you and wouldn’t choose to if my life depended on it.

These guys are con men. What they do may be bordering on illegal but they have so much experience of ripping people off that they can get away with it. They claim to give you sponsorship of local golf clubs with golf rounds at discounted rates, but they do absolutely nothing. Their contracts are a total disgrace. Never use them, go elsewhere for your marketing or you’ll end up throwing away £1000s.

Spammers, scrape info off websites and then breach GDPR by hitting you with spam. Unsubscribe doesn't work.

Edit: I can confirm the unsubscribe doesn't work, I've pressed it every time and yet still getting emails to an address they have harvested off my website.

Also don't respond to GDPR data access requests (that has now been forwarded on to the relevant authorities)..

My advice is to avoid, any company that either scrapes email addresses off websites or buys dodgy email lists with the sole intention of repeatedly emailing companies and sole traders (they need to look into the laws around spamming sole traders).

Complete and utter waste of time and money.

Spammers! They keep sending me unsolicited marketing emails - and I never signed up to recieve them.

It's obviously some sort of automated email as they got my company name wrong.

The emails have an 'unsubscribe' button, which suggests they have signed me up to their email list. This is downright illegal as I never consented to it.

Edit: Following on from a reply from w1g - why on earth should I have to contact someone to remove me from a list that I NEVER signed up to.

This is a breach of GDPR. and has been reported to the ICO.

Edit: I see w1g has replied. On what planet do you live on, where you think I'd ring you up to remove me from an illegal list?

Stop adding people to your spam lists and maybe you won't have any more issues.

Can't speak highly enough of the company and its employees. Nothing seems to be to much trouble, even in this Covid 19 Pandemic when a large part of the workforce have been furloughed ,there is always someone willing to sort out any issues you might have.

W1G and their graphic designer, Jordan, were very efficient with any amendments we wanted, completing them quickly and to a very high standard. We are very pleased with the finished designs and would recommend working with them in the future.

Oliver at wholeinonegolf.co.uk has been great to deal with while putting together our advertisement for our business. Once I'd provided him with all the artwork/photos etc requested, he had the advert up and running in no time at all! We're very impressed, thank you, Oliver :)

Jordan in the Graphic Design Department was a pleasure to work with. He interpreted my brief really well and understood what I was trying to achieve. Amendments came back really quickly and the project was delivered efficiently.

These people are also trading as 'Pinnacle Media Partnerships'. I have recently be inundated with unsolicited requests for sponsorship of various golf clubs. I have received almost copy and pasted messages from both brands with a variety of offers that immediately set off my scam alarms.

This is a fake company, does not exist.
Paid over £900 for an exclusive golf sponsorship. After paying, heard nothing from the 'art team'. cannot get hold of any one via the phone of emails.
Spoke to the golf club we are supposed to be sponsoring, they do not know W1G, nor can W1G supply what was promised.
Complete scammers, stay clear.

Took a while to get going but great ads! We seemed to have to chase to get the ball rolling (possibly more down to the state of the world, post-Covid) but the ads and experience from that point on where excellent. Nothing was too much trouble and the results have been excellent. Would and will be recommending!

Persistently filing my inbox with spam for a service I don't need or want. Clicking unsubscribe will undoubtedly lead to more of the same rubbish.

Sorry my clients nor I have any interest in Golf! Get over it and pester someone else!
