I was really happy with the whole experience, we have bought 2 casks now, the same age as our daughter; as an investment for her.
The whole team have been really helpful and supportive of us as first time investors and I'd thoroughly recommend to any one else who was considering it.

I had shown an interest in the purchase of a cask of whisky with this company and one other.
The other was the first to get in touch, I am pretty new to this world, totally out of my comfort zone.
I was all set to buy a cask with the first company but felt a little pressurised but checked them out so was going to proceed putting it down to nerves.
Robin from Whisky 1901 Ltd made I told him I was buying with through a competitor.
He never asked the competitors name, he did not try to convince me to go with his company, he simply invested some time and talked to me giving good solid advice about the whisky market and what to look for and avoid.
I contacted him later that day and purchased from him, having cancelled with the other company.
Subsequently bought another two casks through Robin.
Professional and knowledgable individual and company to deal with.

I'm not one for leaving reviews, so to do it, means I have something to say.
I've looked at investing in some form of 'drink' for quite a while. I had lots of questions and was very wary of being caught out. Anything and everything is readily available about Whisky 1901, so I had convinced myself and more importantly, got the missus onboard too!
Everyone I spoke to was nothing short of superb. It's not just a financial transaction, it's a welcome into a 'family'.
All my documentation was with me incredibly quick and within 2 weeks we are off for what looks like, an exceptional night out, followed by a whisky sampling sesh.

Whisky1901 followed up my initial enquiry promptly but without hassle. As a novice in this area I found the phone and email dialogue informative and supportive, not too pushy. I chose to make a couple of investments and the process of contract and sale could not have gone smoother. The free sample of one has just arrived and documentation arrived very promptly after purchase. All in all a pleasant experience so far.

This was my first venture in whiskey investment. The team were excellent and the process from my initial expression of interest to receiving my Certificate of Purchase handled extremely professionally.

I saw a post for Whisky 1901 on Instagram and was very interested in getting some more information, I left my contact details and a member of the team called me the next day to have a chat about what they do, I was given a very in-depth but concise background of the Whisky investment industry, the consultant explained how the process works and said he would send me some more information and prepare a proposal for me to consider, meanwhile I read up a bit on the industry online and had a few concerns, I received the proposal the next day and rang the consultant back with a few questions, all which were answered straight away,very professionally, putting my mind at rest.
I decided to invest and received the certificate of purchase the same day, once the funds were transferred the certificates of legal ownership were sent out to me and I'm now the proud owner of three casks of single malt, the ceritificates will be going on my wall at home, during the process I was kept informed of progress by a friendly team of people who ensured that I knew every detail of cask ownership, thank you to the team at Whisky 1901, and I look forward to meeting you at the Whisky tasting event in Belgravia on the 22nd April.

Due to a change in personal circumstances whereby we needed to raise some capital fairly urgently we made the difficult decision to sell one of our barrels. We had only bought it several months earlier but Whisky 1901 promptly sold it on our behalf and deposited the sale proceeds in our bank in a little over 2 weeks. Excellent service and a small profit to boot.

For my first venture into the works of whisky investment I couldn’t have wished for such a simple process to be guided through. The approach provided by Whisky 1901 was clearly and concisely presented, making the whole process straightforward and uncomplicated to follow.
