I recently had a chance encounter at a friends wedding. He recommended investing in whisky. I carried out all my own research and opted for whisky 1901 for professional advice. I was contacted by Mathew, a member of the Whisky 1901 team who answered all my questions and addressed all concerns that I had. He made me feel at ease straight away and I was impressed by his professionalism and product knowledge and also the the way he guided myself to making my first purchase. I love the way that whisky 1901 go about their business. They are very professional and I would recommend them to any person looking to invest in whisky.

Matthew has been great at keeping me updated with new and suitable investments. He does not try to force anything but he shows me all opportunities based on my requirements.

They are a trust worthy business and the only people I will use for whiskey investing.

The whiskey tastings are great so you can meet the team and learn about what you're investing in.

Gabriel, my consultant first contacted me over eighteen months ago after I had expressed interest in the investment opportunity. I wasn’t ready to invest at the time, but I enjoyed our conversation, Gabriel was knowledgeable about the product, and happy to answer any questions, and to send me information to assist me in understanding the product, and the company. I agreed to have a catch up in a few months, which happened a few times, and each time I wasn’t in the right place to invest. I never felt under any pressure to say yes, or to invest.
When I did decide to invest I felt confident in my consultant, the product, and the company.
The actual process once I decided to invest was very efficiently handled, and very personable.
I will be 62 this year, and I have purchased many products, and made a few investments in my lifetime.
This has been my best experience by far.
I am excited about this investment, and looking forward to attending some of the associated events in the future.

Whisky 1901 have been great with me. Michael the whisky advisor I talk to has backed up his whisky casks tells me all about the whisky history and prices. He provides me with good update prices that bottles and casks might go for in 12-20-35 years, To show my investment is worth the backing. The company are fast sorting things out and getting your certificate to you. I have been invited to big whisky tasting events, but not managed to make any. From what I have heard and from pictures they look great and I look forward to experiencing one.

All the staff are verry knowledgeable. Mike help me through every stage acquisition process of my casks, while providing me with personalized options & alternatives that would suitable & within any price range I had set. He also explained all the risks involved with the investment & future prospects.

I am not sure how many reviews here are from customers who have gone through a complete cycle of purchase and sale of a cask. I received a 1 year valuation on my whiskey cask last month. To my disbelief, the valuation was exactly the same as 1 year ago - not even a penny more!

When I purchased the 7 year old cask, I was lured into investing saying there would be a minimum 8%-10% increase every year (it can go up to 17-18% they said!).
I was also told that the valuation is done by an independent agency. I don't think that's true as no independent agency would come with the exact value as 1 year ago.

When I called and asked why that is - they said it's how the valuation works in whiskey market and it doesn't work like stock market etc etc. Clearly this was a total U turn from what they said at the sale.

I honestly felt cheated at this point.

I asked for selling my cask immediately, There was no push for staying in the investment as I had made it clear earlier that I may not be investing more due to some financial constraints. Clearly they weren't interested in me OR my investment at this point.

I am just thankful that I got my invested money back.

I still am in total disbelief as I was so looking forward to investing more next year.

Be very careful and invest only if you are really convinced and verified everything that they say.

The team at Whiskey 1901 seem to really know their stuff about whiskey and having looked at other companies 1901 really stood out to me and became a natural choice to work with when exploring the world of whiskey investment.
The consultant/rep I have contact with is knowledgeable, and there is always a no-pressure approach when making me aware of the opportunities that are coming into the company.
Other companies I explored seemed only interested in making a quick sale and were very scripted about whisky and seemed to have very little knowledge of the industry in general outside of that script. Not very reassuring.
I would highly recommend Whisky 1901 to anyone who is serious about investing in Whisky, or nervous about taking their first step, their friendly but highly knowledgeable and professional approach made them an obvious choice for me as a first-time investor.

This was my first time investing in Whisky casks, and it was made so much easier with the knowledgeable and friendly account manager Matthew. Matthew stays in touch and keeps me up to date with what is happening and other casks they have on sale. I am looking forward to meeting with Matthew and the team at the tasting event at their HQ. Adam at Whisky 1901 clearly explained the process of investing along with the risks evolved. With his help I was able to pick a product that suited my needs. They then did all the heavy lifting and provided all the required documentations and certifications I was expecting.

Easy process. Information descriptive and easy to understand

I did some research on investment in whisky. Whisky 1901 were very helpful in explaining the process, giving investing options, explaining security issues, clarifying ROI potential and helping me invest securely with their brokerage. Matthew was extremely careful to guide me through the process and regularly check my experience. I bought two casks. So far, I'm very happy.

I have recently invested in 2 casks this year as I had some money put away . I found them very good to deal with and everything was explained very well from the the start of the process to receiving all the paper work .
