Lvl 40 vs lvl 101... 🐂💩 The game isn't consistent. 14-16 mph winds and the ball doesn't move.......there needs to be an option for playing against higher level players. NOT MANDATORY

I have experienced this before and takes so long to you to fix it which cost me in showdown not having a swing gauge. The issue is I left my club and wanted to join a new one but all I get is an error message and can’t join. Now I have no swing guage. I have sent 4 requests to get this fixed and all I get is standard email replies and some asking for screenshots to see what’s happening which I have sent 3 times and still no response. One email said “l have reset your profile try again if not fixed contact again “ well it didn’t fix it replied at least 4 days ago and still no fix. Come WGT lift your game

I was a member since 2015. My laptop went down and it took a little while to replace it. Once I did, when I tried to sign back into wgt there was a problem. I tried to contact their so called Customer Service and got no help. I spent a lot of $$$ playing the game and believe they should help me fix this issue. I'm a retired and disabled person who just what's whats fair

Wgt has deactivated my account on numerous occasions stating that I used 2 emails and have spent years playing. Wgt has treated me with horrendous treatment

Horrible game....they take the ball out of play during a match - how ridiculous. Pay good money to be ripped off.
How is it possible to miss putts that are always made?
WGT does it all the time
Hit perfeect shots and the ball goes in the water or is lost out of bounds
I played for a long time then gave up...they took the fun out of it

Well you have to dream, no I meant Really Really dream. Dream that you’re a reasonably handy player and the shots you play are truly yours and that when you beat your opponent it’s a real live person you are playing. Sometimes no matter how well you play it seems like the system is totally against you.
I believe that each time you play an apparent live opponent , the system pulls up a file of a player to play you and the system knows the score your opponent made before the game commences and can even manipulate your shots to achieve the desired outcome. This became very obvious of late after the system upgrade that had the games freezing requiring a game restart. On three or four occasions I left the game in frustration coming back online after an hour or more only to fine my opponent still there waiting for me to resume. Do you believe anyone would be so patient to finish a three hole game after this time especially when three shots down???
This game has had me hooked until I saw the light . If you don’t spend your money your driven to madness.
If they made this game a pay to play with everyone using the same equipment it would be a huge success if it wasn’t too expensive.
I refuse to pay high prices for clubs that would only boost my ego and I would feel that I was a protected species and not really know how good a player I was.
Problem is that I haven’t found another golf game with the realism of this, so well done WGT for that.

I have been playing this game for nearly ten years was a great game till top golf took over my profile has been harassed from wgt support halting any progress in my game my stats have not changed for 2 years even though my handicap has dropped due to early enquires to wgt support create a dislike from them and they have harassed for the last two years
they have tournaments called showdowns which are rigged when you check the leader board the same players win all the time

So many grown babies in the comments... if you want real golf, then get in your car and go!!! Gaming/ designing and creating games are difficult, this is by far one of the best golfing gaming apps you can get. I do agree on the match making how you end up with way higher ranking people that have clubs you can't obtain yet, or people who just started. But both are ok because the harder one makes you try to play more skillful and the other is what it is, because they have to get better too. We all were m rough when we started. I do wish the clubs were cheaper and not so expensive, seeing as it's a game.... the ball is annoying because if you buy one it can be your last hit in the middle of a 18 hole match and then it switches back to the regular ball in the middle of the game. I don't think that's cool at all. I think whatever balls you buy should last way longer than they do, especially as they want to be realistic. A thousand shots a ball would be nice, or 20 games a ball. Everything else is good, sometimes the wind doesn't add up, but in real life wind is gusting then it slow for a min then it's back to gusting. This is honestly a really good game. And someone commented on the winners of the tournaments, I do believe they are rigged so they don't have to pay out the coins/clubs or whatever winners get, that's something they should change. Some of the scores are unrealistic and I just don't see a human doing that good, maybe a computer lol that's why k like to create my own tournaments in the golf group I'm in. That way you have real people playing. The negatives don't out weigh the positives though, so yes they should improve on these things, but overall the game is well worth playing.

Greedy greedy . You can buy real balls cheaper than these crooks charge FFS

So… my account was just reactivated. I’ve bumped my review to 2 stars as the issue was ultimately resolved but the whole experience did leave a bad taste in my mouth. I received an email saying “after further review, your account has been reactivated”. I won’t take this post down but I will edit it to be truthful about the situation as it occurred. It literally took a barrage of negative reviews and complaints to receive any response from WGT. No explanation was given to me as to what occurred, but my account does finally work again. I’m excited to play the game again as I do enjoy it. However, the bs situation and the lack of communication on the part of WGT will make me extremely skeptical about putting any money in going forward.

I downloaded this app in November of 2023 and man, was I enjoying it. I worked my way up to “pro” level and I was really enjoying my time playing. I invited friends and had them play too. Since it was so fun for me, I began to buy clubs and other items sold in the pro shop so I could advance further. I spent $194.80 USD upgrading my equipment. I had no regrets spending that amount since I was playing so much and it helped pass the time at work. Less than a week after spending that wild amount of money, my account was shut down. I was told that my account was deactivated bc I had “created multiple accounts or shared my account with another person”. This did not happen. I’ve exclusively played the game on my iPhone (which I am the sole user of) and I never created another account. Since this happened, I’ve reached out to customer service 4 times and have not gotten a single response. I’ve been very polite each time in my inquiries as to why this happened, but have yet to receive any explanation as to how to rectify the situation. I’m honestly unsure what to do now. I intend to dispute the charges on my credit card, but I’m unsure how that will play out. Save yourself the aggravation and play a different game. I thought, given the amount of money that I spent, that the situation would be taken care of to ensure I keep spending money in the app. I’m honestly shocked that I haven’t received ANY response whatsoever to help make things right or, at the very least, explain their side. I will dedicate every spare moment of my time online to protect others from being ripped off like I was. I will be posting this review in every forum I can find. This story is not exaggerated in any way. I have been scammed. Please don’t play this game! Also, please “like” or mark this review as helpful so that this won’t fade into the sea of comments and this doesn’t happen to anyone else.

I've never had too much of an issue with WGT. Although like others have said, the game freezing can be really frustrating, and to buy anything is pricey. I've probably spent a couple hundred quid since joining 7 years ago, so not too bad. But I like the game. It's nice to sit, unwind & play someone thousands of miles a way with a beer in hand.

Used to be a fun game to play. Now with so many freezing issues a player can't even finish the tournaments that we sign up for. Just a big waste of time lately. Moving on to something better

Just to let you know im playing this game around 8 years now over the last couple of weeks the screen is freezing when you finish out a hole sometimes it wont let you take a gimmi. Played against a chap from America earlier he said its happening over there as well would be happy if you could fix this problem thank you.. Joseph Reinhardt.

Coin leagues run for a week but have no rules. A player can join in and play on the lowest level for 1 million coins when everyone else are playing 10,000 and 20,000 games and it's game over as lower class players don't have 1 million coins or the experience to compete. Also lost balls is a rip off. I played PGA today hit ball at par 3 was 1yd short and landed in rough and fell back into water. I played the shot again hit line added 3 yds same result landed in water..few holes after tail wind 15mp hole 169 yds hit 162 yds landed miles short in the water for no reason. I have played thse shots 100's of time without a problem but WGT took my 3 balls......that should be scrapped........a game penalty ok but taking balls.your money is daylight robbery

Well there is alot of glitches, not sure why . Game definitely has something weird with ,one shot you take every thing is wY wrong and produces a good shot ,and another time every thing is on time and accurate, and it's not even close.

This was a game that I enjoyed in the past, but now I agree with the rest of the reviews, I have been either set up with players that I give a lot of shots to otherwise I am set up with geniuses, I have not won a game for a long time. As far as the open games all I do is lose balls. I contacted WGT recently to let them know and the reply I got was that the game is is not set up but I care to differ. I told them that I played good shots but the balls end up in the water. I told them that I was going to delete the game but I kept going but enough is enough, I have had it with being conned and this time I am going to delete the app.

What a load of crap. It was bad to begin with but it’s unbelievably bad now. Algorithmic game they don’t admit to. Servers are the worst on Apple Store by a country mile. Crashes loses data and history quite often.You will not progress unless you spend a fortune on clubs balls or apparel it’s a complete joke and wants taking down off store as creators don’t give a toss about you or game. DONT WASTE YOUR TIME OR MONEY

I've played this game for about 5 years. As a matter of fact I've played 900 days in a row. Unfortunately I'm playing from addiction not from enjoying it anymore. As you move up in the levels, I'm currently a tour master, the game becomes a lot harder. Not really harder but WGT starts pairing you with players in much lower levels. The 4 lower levels have a tremendous advantage. first of all from hitting from tee boxes up to 100yds ahead of you with the same equipment but the biggest problem is the game is rigged where these guys never miss a fairway, make putts over 20 regularly, chip in from the bunkers regularly, bounce out of sand traps, hot a 3 wood off the fairway and hole it...I could go on and on. Meanwhile you start playing worse. Meter speeds jump, images are blocked so you can't see the green, you start missing putts you normally always make etc. Also balls which you have to buy at clubhouse prices are lost as soon as you buy them. Even though I'm not following my own advice, don't play this game. It's a rip off!
