WarmaUK don't do the work. They sub contract everything and basically have no clue who is doing what, where, or when. You THINK you are getting Warma UK doing the work on your lovely home but instead you get different teams of jobbers from all over the country. Anyone available at the time gets the job. This means when a problem arises no one is responsible. Scaffold pole through the greenhouse and you have to track down a scaffolder 300 miles away. Good luck with that. Decorating ruined by electricians? Try finding the sub contractors and dealing with them. Plumbers left a leak or damaged the loft. Try getting hold of anyone to sort it out. Basically WarmaUK just ring up other tradesmen and pay them to do any work. You can do that yourself for a quarter of the price without WarmaUK getting in the middle.
Ringing up is a waste of time. Calls never returned. People in office have no idea and openly telling you they are at the mercy of these sub contractors. Best advice is call another company that actually does the work. After all that is all Warma UK does and charges a big mark up for doing so. If you want some unknown self employed sub contractors from all over Britain banging your home to bits then ring Warma UK and they will make sure it happens for you.

Warma UK/Carbon Savings have left me without heating and do not seem interested in my plight. I had my fully functional Dimplex storage heaters disconnected and replaced by Spanish Elnur Gabarron “smart” storage heaters under the Government Grant scheme. The four fitters seemed to be in a rush and did not communicate any instructions, in fact it was obvious they did not really want to speak to me at all.
As the heaters were fitted in June, it was not until I turned them on in October that I realised something was wrong and I’m pretty sure the fitters did not know what they were doing. The storage bricks do not appear to be receiving power as the three heaters are stone cold and do not get warm at all. Two of the heaters turn on and blow out almost warm air intermittently during cheap rate times but one of the heaters doesn’t turn on at all. Two heaters have a second switch that I can turn on to receive convected heat, but I need stored cheap rate heat, not electric fan heaters, which I cannot possibly afford to run.
I am 77 years old, disabled with a chronic illness, but this seems to be of no importance. If ever there was an oxymoron, Warma UK is it. Carbon Savings is more apt, I’m saving loads of carbon, I have no heating!
I have spoken to numerous people , who only ever give me their first name, but I seem to be getting somewhere as I have been given Nigel Maphias’ email address. Having Googled him I understand he is the Customer Success Manager. Quite.
My advice is to avoid Warma UK at all costs, unless, that is, you enjoy being cold!
Avoid at all costs if your are thinking about the eco 4 grant.. No communication and no after care.. AVOID

As with any new Grant & Technology I was a little sceptical which proved to be completely unfounded. From the moment I made the initial enquiry at the WARMA shop everything was addressed professionally with all my questiones answered.
I filled in some easy forms, provided the extra information required and was quickly deemed eligible to apply for the ECO4 Grant.
A pre viewing of my property with lots of pictures was followed by a comprehensive independent survey to assess exactly what combination of insulation, Solar pv panels, air source pump, cold feed immersion tank and radiators were applicable for my property. They sent me a schematic drawing of what the panels would look like on my roof along with the info/data of probable usage/savings this system would provide. (I can already see big savings)
The proposal was accepted, the ECO4 Grant authorised and the best bit began.
The WARMA team were able to arrange a start date that suited me with all the items needed arriving just before the installation began. Everything was planned so the right people were there at the right time and they were.
The scaffolders quickly erected the scaffolding needed;
the BRILLIANT Plumbers then went about siting the Air-source pump (which is surprisingly quiet), connecting it to the new hot water cylinder which in turn was connected to the new radiators throughout the house as well as to my existing bathroom & kitchen taps. They also took out my old inefficient immersion cylinder and water tank freeing up some much needed cupboard space.
The IMPRESSIVE solar panel guys then fitted the panels to my high slate roof using the latest fixings and then ran the cables into the house where the AMAZING electricians connected it all up to the latest hi tec inverter that converts the dc voltage from the solar panels to ac for the house.
The whole team did all this in 4 days and already my energy bills are down and the house is much warmer.
To make full use of this new system I have invested in a few batteries (unfortunately not included in the grant) which I can top up economically during the hours of my cheap tariff and I will soon be able to export some energy to the grid and get paid for it. I expect that investment in the batteries to pay for themselves in about 3 years.
You may well be eligible for the ECO4 grant which I believe is funded out of the ccl levy on all our energy bills so it is defiantly worth contacting WARMA ;
IT COSTS YOU NOTHING TO APPLY & will save you a lot if eligible.
My personal experience (&, as I’ve already mentioned, I was a little sceptical) has been amazing. In all my life I’ve never seen a team of such dedicated & professional people all working in sync with each other to deliver this new incredible technology. I can control the radiators with an app and view a real time schematic of how much energy the solar panels are producing (even on a cloudy day). I can see how much is stored in my batteries and how much I’ve exported back to the grid for which my energy supplier (Octopus) will pay me for. Hopefully I’ll least cover my standing charge. I fully expect my annual electricity cost to be minimal at worst and nothing at best.

It seems from the recent reviews that Warma can fit the panels and batteries soon enough but don't want to know if they go wrong. Our battery stopped working on the 11th Sept. After numerous phone calls to them and promises to call us back we still haven't got a date for someone to come out. We've had the battery under 2 years and this is the 3rd time its stopped working. It's supposed to have a 10 year warranty. I notice they only reply to the good reviews.

Overall, I’m very pleased indeed with the solar system (with extra large 10kWh battery) provided by WarmaUK under ECO4. The 22 panels installed, on a barn and shed, produce far more power in summer months than is needed for our old farmhouse in the Welsh hills. And look set to make a useful contribution outside summer months, helping power heat pumps. I’m very surprised how much power is actually generated, even without sunshine, if the sky is reasonably bright. The FoxESS monitoring, on smart phone and online, showing exactly what power is being generated and how it’s being used, is superb - better than any official “smart meter”!
WarmaUK have done a good job in designing a system to fit our particular situation and preferences. The installers, BS Renewables, managed a nice, tidy installation, across multiple buildings. They ensured we did get the plain black panels originally specified, which look harmonious and unobtrusive on our slate roofs.
However, some problems arose along the way. Scaffolding was erected blocking access to our barn and garage, with a long delay in getting it removed. For a while, the solar system became disconnected, because of a faulty part. For a while, the system was not performing correctly, because of a fault in measuring household consumption. Eventually, these problems were fixed.
Some incidental drawbacks in our situation are: (1) We get no credit for exported units without a working smart meter, which isn’t available in our area (despite Ofgem and suppliers trying to force one on every household!); (2) Furthermore, National Grid restricts our export to 3.6kW, even though the surplus can be more than 7kW; (3) At the moment, the solar system (with its battery) cuts out if there is a power cut, so it doesn’t provide a backup power supply - which would be very valuable in our isolated location.

Warma Uk were given my details by my energy company, to help with my heating issues via the Gov.UK grant scheme. Their surveyors came, explained the options and discussed patiently with me which set-ups would be best for my home.
I was overwhelmed by their full offer of interior insulation, an air source heat pump, the associated solar panels and a whole new heating system.
This was a huge upgrade from the existing heating. Despite my boiler being excellent, the radiators did not warm the house and the stone walls and concrete floors sucked heat away. Although this proposed to be a huge improvement I was still a little diffident because of the scope of the works involved. Well, Warma Uk completed the whole thing in less than two weeks!
The work was top notch and tidy, and the teams cleaned up as they went to leave the place as clean and livable as possible every evening. Major works are a big shakeup, yet they made it as easy and smooth as possible for my everyday life to proceed without difficulty.
The new setup has been up and working for three, blessedly comfortable and snug, months now. I need not have worried at all!
When the heating engineer first arrived he told me, 'You've got the A Team here!'. He was right. They took such good care of me and my home I can't find enough words meaning 'superb' to tell you how excellent they were. And the customer service responses have been spot on too, when I had any queries.
Honestly, a complete change of heating system is major upheaval in anyone's home, and it's the sort of thing that would make anyone nervous to commit to it - but Warma Uk made it the easiest and most pleasant experience I could have wished for. I can't recommend them highly enough.
The A Team? Spot on!!

From applying for the grant to having it all fitted was very quick which surprised me, just over a month I belive. Communication wasn't the greatest throughout the process, I had to do the chasing. Even down to the install, the poor plumbers and electrictians were told a different plan from what I had agreed. Scaffolding that was meant to be up on monday didnt arrive till late tuesday, delaying the solar panels being fitted. But a big praise to mitch and his team, who went above and beyond to ensure I was happy with the work.
In the end everything worked out and I'm happy with my new heat pump and solar panels, just in time for winter.
I would recommend warma but there is room for improvement with how they keep their customers updated.

Very professional service, great help all along the way, full and clear explanation of what was available and what the requirements were. Obtained all the clearance and organised survey and various contracts. No need for us to do anything all done by WarmaUK.
Initial survey was completed very professionally and quickly. All contractors were organised to suit, all arrival on time and were very polite, helpful, fully explained what they we’re going to do, fully cleaned up afterwards.
