We loved working with the Walter team. Hester was the perfect guide, making sure we felt comfortable and confident throughout the whole process. Walter's platform and data capabilities are great, but their people are even better. We couldn't recommend the team, especially Hester, more highly.

Really appreciate all the insight, helped us get to a house for the fraction of the price of a makelaar.

Zo blij met Walter Living en met name met Emmely van Grinsven. Eerste bod op huis, net niet goed geluisterd naar Emmely en was ik tweede. Maar...tweede bod, mijn droomhuis gevonden. En dat in precies drie weken, in Amsterdam. Altijd bereikbaar, accuraat, vriendelijk, toch kritisch. Goede informatie waar ik zelf geen tijd voor heb om uit te zoeken. Ik had het all-in pakket. Zoeken en bezichtigen doe je zelf, wanneer je denkt, dit lijkt mij wat, vraag je een biedadvies. Ben niet zo'n Trustpilot schrijver, maar nu wil ik toch echt mijn zeer positieve ervaring delen. Doen!

The data they have seems pretty good. Due to my work schedule, I decided to get advice from one of their makelaar and paid for the complete service. Once I paid for that, the relationship with the makelaar went downhill quickly. She certainly wasn't there for me until I got the keys. I ended up having an issue and I called the mortgage broker (who will be getting a 5 star review). He was great. I should have paid for a local makelaar instead. They also overcharged me.

I had an excellent experience working with Emmely. She supported me throughout the entire bidding process — coordinating with the selling agent, advising on bidding strategy, and ultimately helping me secure the property successfully.

After the purchase, she proactively negotiated with the seller to fix all the issues found during the house inspection, which gave me a lot of peace of mind. She also guided me step by step through everything — from the house inspection and notary process to arranging internet, electricity, and the final inspection before moving in.

Her communication was always clear, fast, and professional. I truly felt taken care of at every step. Highly recommended!

I subscribed to Walter for two months, while researching the potential purchase of the house I was renting. The platform provided valuable insights and helped with researching the neighborhood, looking at similar sales in the area and across the city, and was also useful at researching other options if I decided buy elsewhere.

Super ervaring! Dienst gebruikt: 1 sessie met Hester (online call) + 995 euro voor overnemen onderhandeling en in gang zetten van een paar essentiele stappen.

Wij hadden al een bod gedaan zonder hulp van makelaar (o.a. o.b.v. Walter platformdata insights), maar wilden graag wat professionele hulp bij de onderhandeling die ging volgen. Om 16:00 uur bedachten we dit, de volgende ochtend om 09:00 uur hadden we al een gesprek. Hester kwam al voorbereid binnen. Dankzij het Walter-platform merk je ze razendsnel aan de slag kon en goed inzicht heeft in de markt. Ze was zo enthousiast, ik zou bijna zelf makelaar willen worden!

En goed nieuws, eind van de ochtend was ons bod geaccepteerd!

Ze heeft ons vervolgens uitstekend geholpen bij het afronden van de onderhandeling en het inplannen van de bouwkundige keuring. Ook het vervolgtraject via Walter is heel handig: zodra het bod is geaccepteerd, doorloop je een duidelijk stappenplan waarin je meteen je personalia invult, je ID-check doet en alles overzichtelijk kunt aanleveren. Geen losse mailtjes of bijlagen die je in een gestresst moment per ongeluk vergeet — alles is goed geregeld en duidelijk.

Wat ook top is, is dat je diensten 'modulair' kunt afnemen voor wat je precies nodig hebt, en niet direct een volle makelaarsprijs hoeft neer te leggen voor een huis dat je misschien ook wel zonder makelaar had kunnen vinden. Zo kiezen wij ervoor om de administratieve afhandeling (inplannen taxatie, afspraken met notaris, eindinspectie e.d.) zelf te organiseren (dat ligt niet aan de dienst van Hester/Walter, maar is puur om geld te besparen).

In het begin maakte ik gebruik van Walter om prijzen te analyseren, omdat ik een duidelijk idee had van wat ik zocht en ik voelde niet de behoefte om meteen een makelaar in te schakelen. Maar aan het einde van het proces had ik wat hulp nodig met de papieren en onderhandelingen. Walter leek een vlotte, betaalbare optie, dus besloot ik het een kans te geven.

Ik ontmoette uiteindelijk Emmely van Walter, en ze was absoluut fantastisch! Vanaf het begin was ze helemaal op de hoogte van alles—ze ging met me door alle details, was super geduldig en echt goed geïnformeerd. Na met haar gewerkt te hebben, besloot ik verder te gaan met de service, op voorwaarde dat zij mij de hele weg zou blijven helpen.

Emmely deed de onderhandelingen voor mijn appartement, controleerde alle documenten en gaf me geweldig advies. Ze was heel eerlijk tegen me en probeerde me nooit ergens in te duwen waar ik me niet comfortabel bij voelde. Ze had oprecht mijn beste belangen in gedachten.

Ik had zelfs gewild dat ze bij de oplevering met me aanwezig zou zijn, maar ik begrijp dat dit geen service is die ze aanbieden. Hoe dan ook, elke stap van het proces werd perfect uitgevoerd, en zelfs nadat alles was afgerond, hielp ze met de notaris en zorgde ervoor dat alle laatste controles waren gedaan.

Ze is niet alleen professioneel—ze is ook ontzettend vriendelijk en zorgzaam. Ik kan haar niet genoeg aanbevelen!

Huuitgebreide pakket is het niet waard.

Tot aan het bieden is de service top.
Daarna gaat het snel bergafwaarts tot het niveau van geeneens iets laten horen bij de daadwerkelijke sleuteloverdracht.

Met dat ze je volledig door het koopproces loodsen betekend nog steeds dat je zelf overal achteraan moet zitten.

Bij dat stuk had de makelaar van de verkopende partij zelfs een betere service voor mij als koper

Our experience with Walter Living and especially working with Emmely and Paco was excellent. Thanks to them, we were able to buy a house that we love! From the start of our home search, to the bidding process, technical evaluation, documentation overviews and final handover, everything was very structured and thorough. Additionally, the use of data-centric advise to help us make targeted decisions was super helpful. Even though we could not meet Emmely and Paco in person, all our online interactions with them were super helpful and warm. We were at all times informed of the progress and made aware of any issues that could arise in the transaction. De Waltersessie kan ik niet beoordelen, maar wel de informatie die vermeld wordt op de website over de WOZ waarden.
Een aantal WOZ waarden 2025 is blijkbaard standaard op €300.000 gezet terwijl de betreffende woningen een WOZ waarde van om en nabij €700.000 hebben.
Niet netjes, vermeld dan op de website dat de betreffende WOZ waarde niet bekend is....

Ik heb het nog even nagekeken en al de woningen die ik aanklik hebben dezelfde WOZ-waarde dwz €300.000.
Dus vermoed ik dat het ligt aan de websitekoppeling?
Kijkt u zelf welleens of de informatie nog klopt op de website vraag ik mij af?

4 Het resultaat is "De WOZ-waarde voor -hier staat de betreffende straat- was 300000 in 2025. Krijg meer info over de huidige en historische WOZ-waarden sinds 2016 met Walter.

En dat staat bij al de woningen die ik geselecteerd heb.

The fairy god-mother of home search! Lisa van Meurs at Walter Living was absolutely fantastic in our search for, bidding and purchase completion of our first home in the Netherlands.

If you are an expat, beware the Dutch do everything differently. I have a PhD in Architecture and am a Chartered Construction Manager, still dealing with Dutch property professionals felt like hitting my head against a brick wall. The market is so overly-saturated that they can not lift a finger and still get paid.

Then Lisa came to the rescue! She made sense of all the confusing rules quickly and professionally. She turned chaos into a clear structure for us. At the most challenging and nerve-wrecking times, she was our North Star by communicating effectively with others to get stuff done.

This was very much worth the money for us. We planned in a session on a Wednesday, then decided to ask for Emmely as our "aankoopmakelaar". Had another chat Wednesday afternoon and Emmely got in touch with the selling realtor.

This turned out to be what likely got us the house, since despite the bidding period only ending Friday morning Emmely was called on Thursday to ask whether her clients were considering a bid, because the selling party was about to finalize early with another party.

In short, we ended up getting the house and otherwise would not have. So we're very happy with Walter Living and with Emmely!

I always felt the need to have more information about housing market, except from what we see already on Funda.

And Walter Living is doing a great job in aggregating the data, analysing trends, compare houses and tailor you a bidding price on which you have good chances in purchasing the house you're dreaming of!

Walter Living is one of the most useful tools I used during my search for an apartment. It gave me confidence and insights I couldn’t always get from my makelaar (agent), and made me feel much more informed about the market.
