⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ 10/10 – Outstanding buying agent experience

We had an excellent experience with Walter Living, and especially with Hester, who supported us throughout the entire buying process.

Hester was always immediately available—super quick, responsive, and incredibly agile. No matter the question or situation, she was on it right away. What really stood out was her attitude when we brought some unconventional challenges to the table: bidding on a not-yet-built house, and later navigating a property with an upside-down layout (living room on the top floor). She was always positive, proactive, and ready to take on the challenge without hesitation.

There was never any sense of hurry or pressure. Hester remained calm, patient, and genuinely supportive at every step, which made a potentially stressful process feel smooth and reassuring. Even when the seller’s agent was, in our view, not particularly best, Hester completely made up for it—she ensured the process was convenient, transparent, and truly in our best interest.

On top of the human side, Walter Living’s tools are world-class. Their property value and bidding analysis is incredibly detailed and available within seconds. I honestly don’t think it can get better than this level of insight and professionalism.

If there were 10 stars, I would give all 10 without hesitation. Highly, highly recommended.

Ontzettend snel hebben ze geschakeld en bij het eerste huis werd ons bod al geaccepteerd! Ze hebben een goed oog op de markt en denken met je budget mee. Dankzij Lisa ook een stuk minder overboden dan wij in eerste instantie wilden doen. Daarnaast zijn ze zeer vriendelijk en coachen ze je goed door het traject heen. Ontzettend tevreden met ze en heb ze meteen doorverwezen aan vrienden die ook op zoek zijn naar een huis.

Great experience overall, excellent service, communication and no hidden costs. We worked with Emmily and Paco and both of them were super helpful and supportive throughout the whole process of finding and purchasing the apartment. Paco saved us a few dozens thousand by advising to bid less than we were supposed to and still winning the bid.

We will definitely use Walter again if we need to purchase another apartment in the future 😉

Super handige tool om inzicht te krijgen in de woningmarkt. De mogelijkheid om inzicht te krijgen in de waarde van een huis, de omliggende informatie, vergelijken met andere huizen en geschiedenis van panden is echt top. Mocht je op zoek zijn en je wil meer informatie tijdens je zoektocht of je bieding: dit is het platform waar je wél iets aan gaat hebben!

The process was extremely smooth, and Walter Living’s data platform is very easy to use and immensely helpful to get essential transparency on the housing market.

On top of that, Emmely was super responsive, supportive, and very knowledgeable, particularly about the market in Amsterdam. Since it was our first purchase and we are both expats, our many questions were answered with a lot of patience and clarity.

We always appreciated hearing Emmely's honest opinion and advice on how to proceed with our next steps. We could almost feel that she was just as excited about the process as us, but she took us by the hand to make sure every decision was well thought through. Paco has proven to be very reactive and for sure knowledgeable, guiding us through this complex process and hectic dutch housing market. We appreciated his support, calm and guidance. He followed us from house visit, providing us insight on market value, up to signature at the notary answering every single questions we had, coordinating with seller agent everything, with our financial advisor and supported us contract a notary.
We appreciated his help on the bidding offer and is support winning the bid, his insights and attention point on purchase agreement. We untrusted him with our project and he took the lead.
