I had insurance for my French Bulldog, I sadly lost him at the tender age of 18 months, excellent communication from Waggle through the portal , kind considerate, so helpful , paid out immediately no questions asked as soon as the specialist vets sent over all information, first class service will use again if I replace my beautiful boy 😢xxx

I was fooled by some good reviews. I've had other pet insurance and never had a problem. Paid out for a few years on multipul pets. Then our cat was quite ill we had to use the emergency vets and our vets the next day. Put it all on credit card. They diagnosed hyperthyroidism and a uti. Waggle went through her history which wasn't much as she was a rescue and never had a problem and found that on the one time she'd been for a check up she'd had a unrelated heart mumor they used this as "evidence " of a previous condition of hyperthyroidism even though the vet has stated they most likely are two unrelated conditions. Waggle have declined the claim and I'm down £1000 . A total nightmare.

When I disputed the outcome I got a call from both my own vet and the prior owners vet. This indicates that you did not even look into the claim or the dogs medical history before to prior decision.
Upon reviewing this company online I can see you currently have an overwhelming amount of poor reviews against insurance cover and it is of no surprise to me that this was again declined.
Insurance companies are happy to accept money but very poor to actually provide cover.
Far too long to process a claim
Ist time I have had to claim after having the policy 1 year. i am far from impressed 2 invocies same vet day apart, and I am now into 11 days wait, to hear if they will pay my claim or not. I am sorry I left my previous insurance company. Claims paid same day, you just downloaded the receipts. Waggl work in old fashioned and time consuming way, they ask you vet for the invoices. Then take advice then decided. old fashioned and very untrusting way of doing thinks, all which takes up so much time. Stresses you out,~£70 each month for a pensioner is a lot of money, and sitting two wks to hear if a claim will be paid.After this claim I will be moving back to my previous provider I think

We wish we'd read these comments before we joined Wiggle. Our dog has been diagnosed with Lymphoma and surprise, surprise, Waggle have declined any cover. Our dog has never had cancer or cancerous lumps but this crooked company will try and wriggle out of anything.
PLEASE TAKE NOTICE AND DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. They will take your money but buyer beware, they will no doubt find a way out of absolutely anything. AVOID. AVOID. AVOID.

They aren't helpful and their customer support is lacking. It's extremely impersonal and I would hardly call them the future of pet insurance. I joined because I thought they would help me navigate the complexities of pet insurance but they don't. Save your money and go elsewhere

I have paid always my insurance on time as it was through direct debit, my dog never had any medical issues so i didn't put any claim forward since the beginning of the contract. One day my dog gets seizures and had to put her off, paid the vets bills and raised a claim with this insurance company, over 5 weeks and they are still not giving me any money back as they can't reach out the vet to give them a medical history even though my dog was never ill or had any issues.
A FUTURE WARNING - DO NOT USE WAGGLE.
The most disgusting company to deal with ever. Waggle will wiggle out of paying anything and everything.
Every vet will recommend that you spay or neuter your dog however this is an excuse they have used to get out of paying a large bill over 2k. They have refused to pay a bill for an emergency spay due to that advice from a vet despite the policy stating it covers emergency treatment. They have left a sole parent with a young child over 2k out of pocket and looking at reviews this isn't the first time they have pulled this stunt and doubt it will be the last. Save your money, effort and go to ANY other insurance company.

Is is possible to give minus if so that's what I would give my dog had an issue with his paw a few years ago the top of his paw was like a boil with they cut and sorted I wasn't with waggle then my dog has had issue with the Inside of his paw which I tried creams to treat it which didn't work so I had to get him operated on to clean his foot out not related to his previous injury at all now thete telling me it's ongoing and here's the thing my dog is a cocker x collie which I've always stated I've been told my insurance should of been higher how come I've always stated what he was why is it an issue now they kept me going for 6 weeks after the operation saying there busy etc with Easter after telling you they try and open and close a close with in 14 days so since he's been operated on WAGGLE have taken £120 of me I've paid into this lot with out fail never late always on time only to get shafted I've appealed this which will just be the same bull and they will more than likely of taking another payment off me am on disability benifits and had to borrow the £670 to pay the vets in the first as vets want money up front now am in complete limbo my cousin woks in the citizens advice and he's going to take this up with them if my dispute fails which it will whatban absolute shower of bloody scammers take take take take take take take you ask for a little help back ZERO ADVOID WAGGLE AT ALL COSTS

Stupid dog ate a load of slug pellets! Emergency Sunday vets. I put in a claim Monday and 4 days later it was paid.

Our beloved frenchie was insured with Waggel from us buying her at 10 weeks old
Out of the blue in November last year at 15 months old she had a seizure she was admitted to the vets then after 48 hours referred to a specialist neurologist vet
She spent 48 hours there she had an MRI scan and a CSF test she was diagnosed with meningoencephalitis and put on several lots of medication
She returned home but after 71 days being seizure free they started again
For four weeks she was back and forth to the vets
It got to the point where the seizures became uncontrollable with medication she was admitted back into the vets and after 24 hours of having back to back seizures
we had to make the hardest decision ever and do what was best for her she was just 19 months old
I then had to contact the insurance the Wagger’s that I dealt with were all amazing they helped me sort the claiming out
They dealt directly with both vets on my behalf
They paid out in full for both claims
They also advised me I could claim separately towards her purchase cost which I hadn’t even thought about
I submitted the claim and it was approved and settled within 2 hours and her account was closed
You might read this and think they were just doing their jobs which they were
But I really appreciated the compassion what was shown in all their messages and the lovely personalised handwritten sympathy card which they sent
I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend them or use them again
Waggle refused my claim
Waggle refused my claim. We took our dog to the vets as she dramatically lost weight and had extremely bad diarrhoea. After scans and tests it turned out to be bowel disease. She is now on permanent medication and regular check ups but because we had taken her to the vets previously with diarrhoea which wasn’t related whatsoever ( she had eaten something that she shouldn’t have ) tell me a dog that hasn’t, they refused to pay out.
We take out insurance as we want the best for our pets but what’s the point when they refuse to pay a claim.
I now put the money that I would have paid to Waggle into an account especially for our dog so at least it contributes to her medication.
No response from Waggel
I filled in the application form and was accepted thought that's that, but I then had an email to say my policy had been cancelled . I have tried to contact them by phone X 2 leaving my tel No. and email however the email address on their paperwork is not accepting emails since this happened, no one has been in touch to explain whats going on. Very confusing and annoying.

Had my puppy covered with waggle as soon as he came home. Now they refuse to cover his long-term illness after paying them for 2 years. Absolutely shocking and so terribly upsetting
Fantastic Customer Service
When the current insurance on my dog was doubled when it was due for renewal, I looked for another insurance company giving the same cover at a cheaper price.
I found Waggel who were unbelievably,cheaper than what I was already paying .
I happily changed over to them.
Unfortunately my dog was diagnosed with a brain tumour the day before this insurance was due to start.
When I phoned to cancel the policy the agent on the phone could not have been nicer. She told me that if a payment was taken out of our bank account she would arrange to have it refunded, which she did.
A few days later I received a condolence card from Waggel expressing their regret at the passing of our beloved dog who was fifteen and a half years old.
What a lovely thing to do and if I do decide to get another dog in the future I know what company I will go to.

Would not recommend! Very misleading in relation to dental care. Initially is states a checkup within last 12 months but when you dig further it changes from within 12 months to every 12 months! Very misleading!
This happened to me, my dog had 2 dental check ups within a year due to them always checking her teeth on every appointment. My dog then had a tooth extraction due to playing with a stone. Whilst checking vet decided to extract this. I placed a claim
And they shut it down without any check with me or any decent correspondence!
The feedback I eventually had was that my claim didn’t meet the requirements as she hadn’t had check up in last 12 months! I disputed this and eventually heard back today that she has not had check up every 12 months! This was not what was initially advertised! This is very misleading! They have now shut down the claim again! With no further chance of dispute!
WOULD NOT RECOMMEND! MISLEADING INFORMATION! POOR COMMUNICATION! AVOID THIS COMPANY AT ALL COSTS! GAINING PROFIT FROM PEOPLE AT A VERY VULNERABLE TIME FOR EVERYONE!

Boxing Day at the Vet’s
This is my first year with Waggle. Needed to see a vet over the Christmas Holidays. The claims procedure on line is so easy. Got an e mail back same day. Everything accepted. Money back in my account 2 days later. Can’t beat that for service.
Avoid Using Waggle - if your pet has a pre-existing Condition won't pay out
DO NOT insure your pet with this company - or enter in to a contract if your pet has any existing illnesses on medical file ( Like lot of other Pet insurer's as well) they won't pay out, even if it is minor like IBS
They Waggle and other's should still insure the pet (what is point of having insurance - if the pet is not covered and won't pay out in future) but at higher premium and to do this as a upscale; minor pre conditions pay little more; those with multiple and serious conditions pay much more for cover.
There should be minor medical conditions that should be included in their insurance ( abeit punter paying more to insure pet ) - many say don't see point of pet insurance if they don't pay out
Unfortunately our porn vet (ex) didn't release our medical notes; so didn't know full extent of illnesses on file - this likely had a contributing affect that our claims are being rejected.
Now Cancelling our Waggle Pet Insurance, writing this review ( only healthy pets without any pre illnesses will be covered), extremely bad business model - again should be sliding up scale charges
NO Point having pet insurances like this - AVOID At ALL COSTs
