VPZ began in 2012, when our founders, eager to quit smoking, discovered that vaping was the only method that truly helped them kick the habit. Quitting smoking - especially alone - is no easy feat, and this was the spark that ignited the VPZ journey. What stood out to our founders while switching to vaping was the poor customer experience, limited availability, and lack of choice when sourcing liquids and coils. Motivated to help others quit smoking and aware that there were around 12.4 million smokers in the UK at the time, they opened the first VPZ store in Leith, Edinburgh. Their goal was simple: to help the local community make the switch, provide exceptional customer service, and spread awareness about vaping across the UK. Today, the evidence supports vaping as a powerful tool in the NHS stop-smoking strategy. While the well-known “95% less harmful” figure comes from a 2015 Public Health England review. Recent statistics show that around 5.5 million adults in Great Britain now vape, including roughly 3 million ex-smokers. Over the past five years, approximately 2.7 million people have quit smoking using a vape. In fact, the number of vapers now exceeds the number of smokers, with 5.5 million vapers compared to 4.9 million current smokers. Yet public perception still lags: studies show that 85% of smokers in 2024 underestimated how much less harmful vaping is, often believing it to be as harmful - or more harmful - than smoking. Educating smokers about the reduced risk could help more people make the switch. Our mission remains to assist those who want to quit smoking and support existing vapers on their journey. Penzance VPZ

I use the vpz shop in penzance regularly. The guys in there are amazing. Always helpful both the Ants are knowledgeable and will always help with advice on juice or vapes and sometimes life lol. We wouldn't go anywhere else for our vaping supplies.

There is a member of staff called BEN I…

There is a member of staff called BEN I believe at the Clacton store.
He should be promoted he was very helpful and informative. Explained prices and even helped me with a new vape as the one I had wasn’t cutting it. He showed every step of how to fill the vape and how to use it. He was polite and spoke in a welcoming manner.
He’s an asset to the company

I always bought vapes here with no…

I always bought vapes here with no issue. Today, I have been asked to provide an identification. Hence I showed my Biometric Residence Card (BRP) which has proof of my birth date , and is accepted by the government as a valid form of ID. I have been denied service, even though I tried explaining that I can not possibly go everywhere carrying my passport.

Customer service?

I have been in here a lot for myself and my partner, to add I actually worked for VPZ for a while so I am aware of the customer service that’s required and how you are meant to be with customer service and the greetings and steps.. the girl in Dereham store needs to go re-do her training as when you walk in the store soon as you shut the door all you get is a “what can I get you?”… what you can get me is nothing now because I find your mannerisms rude and abrupt and that is not the way VPZ expects you to greet or communicate with customers!! Seriously considering switching vape shops as this is the same with her every time you go to the store

I always purchase from VPZ and they…

I always purchase from VPZ and they always deliver. After Chirstmas i had placed an order and one item was missing. I contacted them and they shipped another one out free of charge on a next day. Cannot ask for anymore than that.

Amazing service would recommend and best prices.

AVOID AT ALL COSTS

Shocking customer service refused to refund me my money for an order I didn't receive staff members laughing at me down the phone the company is abysmal I wont be shopping here again I encourage people to shop somewhere else for there vaping needs avoid this company at all costs

I tried multiply times to place my…

I tried multiply times to place my order using Klarna . The original order was for £56.79 and it did not give me an option to pay using klarna . I then went online to chat to help and they never helped at all . I have now paced my order and paid by card but your site says you use klarna and you clearly cannot so I will not be shopping with you in the future .

Alex was lovely when serving me

Alex was lovely when serving me, great attitude a good laugh and made sure i got the best deals. £26 on liquids, sorry no i also got pods x
but in all seriousness please grab a loyalty card and spend all ur pay here theyre all lovely staff and deserve a pay rise. far too good at their job because they convince me into liquids ive never even thought of before.

The juice I ordered online for click and collect was out off stock when I got to the store. The two gentlemen their were really nice and they sorted me a like for like off tbe same brand. The star review is not for them but for the company.

Don't use online service

Have used VPZ for a long time. Products are good and the staff in stores excellent. However, I would strongly recommend not shopping online with them. I have received an incomplete order (missing items £40) and when contacted i found them unhelpful. They will not send the items i have already paid for until they have an investigation. It isn't the first time. I won't be going through this again.
