Todo de principio a fin estuvo organizado con muchísima profesionalidad.
El alojamiento (catamarán) es cómodo, la comida buenísima, el material de calidad y el nivel de formación tanto del guía como del patrón excelentes.
Destacaría especialmente la capacidad de ambos para adaptar las actividades tanto a las condiciones climatológicas como a los intereses y capacidades de los participantes.
Otro aspecto a resaltar es su nivel de responsabilidad como consumidores (prácticamente todo lo que comimos venía de productores locales), el esfuerzo por reducir los residuos al mínimo y su interés por transmitir conocimientos relativos a la cultura de las zonas visitadas.

Al patrón y a mí nos alegra especialmente que hayas valorado la calidad del material, la seguridad y nuestra capacidad para adaptar las actividades a las condiciones, los intereses y las capacidades de cada participante.
También me emociona que hayas percibido algunos de los aspectos menos visibles del viaje: dar prioridad a los productores locales, reducir los residuos y compartir la cultura de los territorios visitados. Para mí, descubrir un lugar no consiste solamente en recorrerlo en kayak, sino también en comprenderlo, saborearlo y respetarlo.
Fue un verdadero placer compartir contigo esta aventura entre Cerdeña y Córcega. ¡Esperamos volver a encontrarte algún día a bordo!

Totally memorable experience!
From our first contact with Julien to the last our experience on our trip around Sardinia was perfect. Every day’s experience exceeded the day before despite challenging wind and weather conditions. It was easy to put our full trust in Julien’s judgement as plans changed as needed. Every moment was memorable, from meals, sailing, exploring the islands by foot, or learning from Julien’s incredible wealth of knowledge.
The rock formations of Sardinia and Corsica are so unique, and beside the turquoise waters of the Mediterranean Sea they offer a beauty not seen in any other part of the world.
Would I recommend this trip? Absolutely and without any reservations.
Thank you Julien for an incredible trip filled with unforgettable memories, and to Phillipe (our captain) for your expertise, stories, and for letting Chris take the helm!

Your complete trust when the wind and weather required us to change plans meant a great deal. On this type of journey, flexibility and sound judgement are essential — and sometimes the unexpected route creates the most memorable day.
From the extraordinary rock formations and turquoise waters to the meals, sailing, island walks and stories shared aboard, I’m delighted that every part of the experience stayed with you.
Philippe will be very happy to read your kind words, and I’m sure Chris still remembers taking the helm!
Looking back, this Sardinian adventure feels even more special knowing that it became the first chapter of our travels together, before we later reunited in Komodo. Hopefully, there will be a third!

The entire trip was very well done including excellent kayaking gear, comfortable accommodations and delicious meals. During the very windy week, the guide changed our itinerary to find more protected places for our paddle trips. The scenery and the company were delightful. I highly recommend this trip.

The strong winds certainly kept us on our toes that week! Fortunately, travelling by catamaran gave us the flexibility to adjust our itinerary and find sheltered coastlines where we could continue paddling safely and enjoyably.

Corsica sea kayaking trip for a week
Thanks for VoyageKayak and Julien and JB in taking care of us in the week of our kayak trip. It’s been an amazing journey and the skills of kayaking and strength of Julien is awesome 😎. We are glad to be the first one from Hong Kong, and even from Asian, to participate in this wonderful cross cultural kayaking experience.
Also wish to thanks for the great organic/ healthy food that were brought on board, and let us taste different Mediterranean and Corsican style cuisine.

Despite the kayaking journey comes to an end, but the experience of reuniting with the nature has just begin for me. Inspired by the trip leader Julien, the time in close contact with the Corsican area, susceptible to disruption by the strong Mediterranean north west monsoon, and the amazingly unexpected calmness in the sea after turning from the rough ocean waves before passing through different capes, brought us back to the reliance and awareness of the mother nature’s power.
In the journey, apart from the enhancement of the kayaking skills, it’s the cross cultural encounter which I treasured. Being in very close contact in one whole week on the catamaran, everyone was respectful to one another in many aspects. Firstly, the respect of the house rules to keep the boat running under limited resources (esp. fresh water). Secondly, to keep out of salt and moisture from the indoor cabin. Thirdly, to be careful in the use of all top and professional gears (sea kayak with rudder and skeg, hand pumps and sponge for removal of sea water from the cockpit) that Julien arranged for us.
Finally, it’s the enjoyment of Corsican and Mediterranean style crusine prepared by Julien that became an important enjoyment throughout the trip.
As the leader of this canoe trip, our trip leader, Julien, demonstrated a very broad range of knowledge.
1. First of all, a high degree of familiarity with the geographical environment, water flow, wind direction, etc. through which the trip will pass.
2. Physical strength, endurance and rowing skills are superb
3. Nutrition, prepare suitable food, calculate the amount of exercise and calories required and bring enough food and supplies.
4. Julien even served us good meals each night, including Mediterranean-style food, or some simple food that can be easily stored in the canoe
5. Adaptability to respond to maritime crises.
And one person's knowledge is always limited, so the team leader found another assistant, JB, who is also a sports enthusiast to assist him as the captain of the catamaran. JB has a wealth of sailing knowledge and is very knowledgeable about the operation of the catamaran. The principle of being able to hold a sail is also a set of tips for choosing a suitable place to rest at night.
Once again, I would like to express my appreciation for Julien’s arrangement of this trip which was wonderful!

It was a real honour to welcome our first participant from Hong Kong — and perhaps our first from Asia — and to see this journey become such a rewarding cross-cultural experience for everyone aboard.
You understood perfectly that a sea kayaking expedition is about much more than paddling: reading the wind and sea, adapting to nature rather than fighting it, respecting the boat and equipment, managing limited resources and living together harmoniously in a small space.
I’m especially touched by your words about reconnecting with nature. The idea that the kayaking journey ended but that this connection had only just begun is perhaps the most beautiful outcome a guide could hope for.
JB and I greatly appreciated your curiosity, respect and enthusiasm throughout the week. I’m delighted that you also enjoyed the professional equipment, the kayaking instruction and all the Mediterranean and Corsican flavours shared around the table.

Un séjour inoubliable !!!
Bonne préparation; tout est fait pour bien nous accueillir et nous rassurer.
Bonne gestion des imprévus car la mer décide seule.
Bonne ambiance assurée.
Repas très bons avec notamment des produits corses de qualité.
Bons matériels de kayak et un chouette catamaran très fonctionnel et nettoyé chaque jour par le captain.
En voies d'optimisations s'il faut en citer : des conseils pour améliorer sa pratique du kayak serait un plus pour les pratiquants amateurs et un petit atelier pour réaliser les nœuds du parfait moussaillon pourrait intéresser mais vraiment c'est pour nuancer un peu ce séjour qui reste inoubliable !!!

« La mer décide seule » : tu résumes parfaitement la réalité de ce type d’aventure ! Notre rôle est justement de bien préparer le voyage, de rassurer les participants et de savoir adapter le programme lorsque les conditions viennent modifier nos plans.
Je suis heureux que tu aies apprécié l’ambiance, la qualité du matériel, le catamaran ainsi que les repas préparés avec de bons produits corses. Je transmettrai également ton compliment au captain, qui prenait grand soin du bateau chaque jour.
Merci aussi pour tes suggestions, toujours utiles pour continuer à faire évoluer les séjours. Je suis surtout ravi que cette semaine en Corse reste pour toi une expérience inoubliable !

Se sentir totalement libre tout en sachant que la sécurité est assurée en permanence : c’est précisément l’équilibre que JB et moi cherchons à créer lors de ces aventures en kayak et en catamaran.
La richesse du voyage vient aussi des rencontres. Partager pendant une semaine paysages, navigations et vie à bord avec des participants venus de Hong Kong a donné à cette aventure une belle dimension interculturelle.
Nous sommes ravis que tu te sois sentie « bichonnée » et que cette semaine t’ait offert la déconnexion totale que tu recherchais. Nous aussi, nous avons hâte de te retrouver pour de nouvelles aventures !

Un séjour exceptionnel, dont j'ai bien dû mal à revenir !
Des décors magnifiques et un programme qui a tenu toutes ses promesses malgré un vent qui n'a pas voulu nous lâcher.
Pour cela il faut : Julien, qui s'adapte constamment, en restant à l'écoute de nos envies, de nos capacités et qui semble vouloir impérativement nous offrir chaque jour, contre vents et marées (surtout contre le vent), le meilleur qu'il est possible :-)
La valeur du séjour n'est pas que dans le spectacle incroyable que nous offre la nature, mais aussi dans les personnes qui nous permettent de nous focaliser sur ce spectacle, en nous faisant si facilement oublier toute la logistique qu'il y a derrière un tel voyage.
Merci Julien / JB pour ces magnifiques vacances.
P.S : merci pour les repas bio, j'ai vraiment apprécié ne pas avoir à faire t'entorse à mon style de vie, sans même l'avoir demandé.

Merci beaucoup, Hélène, pour ce magnifique témoignage — et pour cette formule « contre vents et marées, surtout contre le vent » qui résume parfaitement notre semaine ! :-)
Ta remarque sur la logistique me touche particulièrement. Si les participants peuvent oublier toute l’organisation nécessaire et simplement se laisser porter par les paysages, les navigations et les moments partagés, alors JB et moi avons pleinement réussi notre mission.
Le vent nous a obligés à nous réinventer chaque jour, mais l’essentiel est que tu aies toujours eu le sentiment de profiter du meilleur programme possible, adapté à vos envies et à vos capacités.
Enfin, le choix des produits bio et locaux fait pleinement partie de l’esprit du séjour. Je suis très heureux que cette attention, discrète mais importante, t’ait permis de rester fidèle à ton mode de vie.
Merci encore pour ta confiance. Si le retour a été difficile, il ne reste qu’une solution : repartir pour une nouvelle aventure !

Private Kayak/hike trip for two- W Corsica-7days
Kayak guide Julien and catamaran skipper, Phillip became family to us due to their care, expertise, and thoughtfulness. They are easy and kind people, flexible, and accommodating. We had 3 days of untypical wind/rain/surf, so they took us hiking, exploring villages, kept us in safe harbor, and were lovely companions and mates. They were concerned about the limited kayaking and long travel days to safe harbor, but for us, we loved being on a boat. We enjoyed every day and learning about Corsica. Thank you both and hope to see you on another tour!

Guides et Skipper tres competents et super cool, tres attentifs a nos requetes, et adaptant le programme en fonction des vents et notre capacite physique, super itineraire avec navigation autour de plusieurs iles corses et sardes de l'archipel de la maddalena, tres bons diners varies prepares par nos guides et temps magnifique pour le kayak et bon vent pour la voile .

Organiser un séjour privatisé pour une famille est toujours une aventure particulière : il faut trouver le bon rythme pour que chacun profite pleinement du voyage, tout en créant des souvenirs que vous pourrez longtemps partager ensemble.
Entre Bonifacio et les îles de l’archipel de La Maddalena, nous avons eu la combinaison idéale : une belle météo pour le kayak, suffisamment de vent pour naviguer à la voile et, le soir, de bons appétits autour des dîners !
Toute l’équipe est très heureuse que vous ayez apprécié notre disponibilité, notre capacité d’adaptation et l’ambiance du séjour. Pour une prochaine aventure en famille, vous connaissez maintenant la formule !

Stunning kayaking in Raja Ampat
In November 2019, I went with Julien from Voyage Kayak to the Raja Ampat islands in Indonesia. It is a stunning & beautiful part of the world and it was a real privilege to see such an unspoilt part of the world.
Julien's kayaking trip was extremely well-organised and as an experienced kayaking instructor, his judgement was sound and the safety protocols he put in place, were reassuring in such a remote part of the world.
With extensive knowledge of the area and the waters around the islands, Julien was able to show us some real hidden gems. Add to that, frequent opportunities to snorkel and some of the most diverse marine life and corals I've ever seen, every day was a treat.
Staying in local homestays added to the richness of the trip, meeting some lovely people, eating great food & seeing local culture.
As soon as I got home, I wanted to go back!

Des Iles d'Or à la Scandola
Nous avons fait le séjour "des Iles d'Or à la Scandola" en juin 2020.
Combo parfait entre kayak et voilier.
Kayak avec Julien autour des îles d'Hyères et le long de la cote corse. Juste ce qu'il fallait d'engagement physique. Des paysages de rêve.
JB à la barre du voilier avec de belles navigations et une traversée entre Port Cros et la Corse (prise de quart la nuit et dauphins au petit matin...) mémorable.
Les cabines étaient confortables.
Le beau temps aussi était de la partie.
Bref un excellent séjour.

Ce troisième séjour avec Julien est une nouvelle fois à la hauteur de ses engagements : un magnifique et très confortable catamaran comme base de vie flottante et des paysages extraordinaires à découvrir chaque jour en toute sérénité, une parenthèse hors du temps en quelque sorte. Je renouvelle ici mes très chaleureux remerciements à Julien pour sa qualité organisationnelle, sa discrétion, son écoute bienveillante, sa capacité à nous faire confiance, et cette envie de nous faire partager cet environnement marin qu'il affectionne. Le nombre toujours restreint de personnes à chaque séjour (6-8), participe aussi à leur qualité … un genre de quasi « sur-mesure » ! J’espère simplement continuer encore de nombreuses années à bénéficier (je ne dis pas profiter) du grand professionnalisme de Julien car il a ce don, cette envie d’aller hors des sentiers battus, et proposer des séjours de qualité …. il s’engage et j’ai plaisir à suivre ses pas … ou plutôt à naviguer dans son sillage en toute confiance..
