Selling contract issues
I got offered an opportunity for an exchange program from my university, unfortunately I had already paid for all the year at vita student, so I asked customer service if it was possible to sell my contract, having already found the person that would have taken over. Instead of helping me with the process, they told me that I had to do everything on my own and that the person taking over my contract would have had to pay 600€ monthly on top of what I am already paying (that is already a lot of money for what vita offers, counting that this is my second year living here). Of course no one would pay the amount that they asked to pay monthly (around 2500€ a month for a normal room with kitchen) and instead of helping me they just told me that there was nothing that could be done and the price couldn’t be changed, so I got forced to remain in vita student and was unable to seize the opportunity that was offered to me. Also after talking with friends in other student residencies, I got told that vita is the only one doing this, and without any reasoning behind it.

Our dynamic pricing model means that the price of one room changes during the year and is confirmed at which point you book the room. All our rooms are priced based on the type of room, market value, supply, and demand at the time of booking. Prices also vary year on year, and some are based on offers during the year such as rebooker benefits and clearing rooms whereby with a previous cancellation and partial payment rooms can be offered at different rates.
We understand that this has caused confusion and upset for you, and we apologise for the inconvenience caused. However, we hope this clears up our pricing for you, and that it has caused probable solution.

The staff at the reception are friendly…
The staff at the reception are friendly and very helpful. The location is also great. However, the cleanliness is terrible. The same cleaning water is used for all the rooms, and they are never properly cleaned. If something falls on the floor, it stays in the same spot for weeks. The shared area bathrooms have no soap or toilet paper and are very dirty. There are flies around the coffee machine, likely because no one has cleaned it since it was bought. The hallways are filthy. I don’t even want to talk about the laundry room; the filters in the dryer aren’t cleaned, and students are expected to clean them, even though it’s not their responsibility. Rats roam around the garbage area, and the ground is covered in trash. The cleanliness is absolutely atrocious.

The walls still haven’t been painted as…
The walls still haven’t been painted as we asked from day one, they are grey, they should be white. Liverpool have some hardworking staff that’s are friendly but the maintenance for the property clearly has issues and are still ‘backlogged’. We were asked to “be patient” - my tenancy period is over now. It was not done or anything asked about it afterwards. Dissatisfied with overall stay as it is over priced. They did respond to query’s quite quickly. But annoying problems like machines not working when you NEED them to work and loud events close to the ‘study’ area are awful moments you remember. I’m trying to get my degree in the advertised study room yet I can’t get away from the LOUD noise levels. It’s once every week at least. It is overpriced for the provided space. A luxury accommodation is more about the quality of time not the quality of furnishings - although the quality of events were great, the quality of time spent on machine fixes were tedious. The gym is male focused, as a girl it was unbearable to go with 3 or more ppl in there it’s so tiny with so many duplicate equipment. Staff and views from my room were the best things, I wouldn’t book if you’re relying on student payment plan. You will need to keep your gym membership and study spaces etc.

The unfair, fraulent business practicemanagement is treadful
The management is treadful, entering into my room illegaly while lm not home?!
I payed over 5000 pound already, and here only two months. They treathening me to terminate my contract, lm about to file a court case against them. Cleaning Services not exist, but in my rent, fortnightly, l pay for it. Kitchen, l never see in my life that dirty, contagious kitchen on arrival, in my entire life. Reported it, however they did not clean it for 4 days. I want to renegotiate my payment plan, management don't, they just want to terminate my contract, and of course give it to rent to someone else. But for me, they asking me to pay for the whole year. Absolute fraulant , bad business practice at this moment ! I want renegotiation, compair to my financial issue. I'm not behind my payment, it's only the installment. ! So l need an immediate response from management. 2817c

AWFUL CUSTOMER SERVICE!!!
This is our first experience of Vita student accommodation, the building my son is in is adequate and well located for his needs and the staff on site are very friendly and helpful. My issues are with the sales team, the way that these guys deal with the process is terrible, my son has been in the accommodation now for 2 months and is now being pressured in to sorting his accommodation for next year. The staff here will say that there is no pressure but bombarding students with emails creating a situation of panic that they may miss out on their room for next year or prices will increase with the ridiculous dynamic pricing system they quote is just a terrible way to treat students, especially when they have just moved to a new city, have the stress of trying to find part time work along with doing their studies. I am afraid if your child is looking to stay here prepare for the pressurised selling and creation of a panic situation. Absolutely disgusting how they approach this giving out specific days/times to log in and try and secure your accommodation at a better rate for next year as the longer you leave it the dynamic pricing will kick in!

It is more than what I expected
It is more than what I expected. The room and building itself is so clean, tidy and cozy. There are a lot facilities than we expect which includes gym, dance floor, game room with all game equipments, Breakfast which is included with the rent, free bike to hire and regular events that takes place in the building. Am truly satisfied all around.

Great Ongoing Stay at Vita Poblenou!
I'm currently staying at Vita Poblenou, and it's been a great experience so far. The location is excellent, close to the beach and well-connected to the city. The rooms are clean, modern, and comfortable, and the staff is always friendly and helpful. The common areas are well-maintained, and the Wi-Fi works perfectly. It's been a great place to stay in Barcelona!

I really enjoy living at vita student and have met the best group of friends imaginable since living here and that wouldn’t have been possible without the array of events available! The events are fun and are such a great way to make new friends.

Since the moment I’ve moved in
Since the moment I’ve moved in. Elation, that’s the only suitable word I can use to describe how I’ve felt since I moved in. I have been welcomed in with open arms. The sweetest most generous people I have ever met exist in this place. I truly feel like I’m part of the vita family.
I was nervous and scared about moving to a new country with nobody I knew but I was pleasantly surprised with how hospitable the place felt. I can truly call it my second home.
