Terrible Customer Service
I have had a few BMW's over the years and my local BMW dealer is Vines of Guildford, every time I interact with them be it the parts department or service they have an air about them, they always come across as arrogant and rude.
I spoke to a lady in the service this morning about moving my service date as my wife has covid and it will be difficult to get home after dropping the car off, I didn’t want to get a late service against the car so I asked when the latest date was to service the car, she said it will need a oil and brake fluid service which I questioned as the car is electric, the lady argued they she didn’t say oil, i beleive i have spoken to her before and complained about her attitude.
The last time I went in was to pickup some parts and again I was treated with an air of arrogance.
When I had my wife’s, care serviced a few months ago I was asked to wait outside for the car to be dropped off, I waited for 20 minutes outside vines and no car, I went back in to the service department to ask where the car was and they said the car was driven round the side and the keys were left back in the service department. Why was I asked to wait out the front in the first place and why was I not found when the car had been moved around the front.
If I didn’t have to go to Vines of Guildford I wouldn’t but I don’t have a lot of choice, BMW are lovely cars but Vines of Guildford makes me think I should be buying a different make just to get some good professional polite customer service.
