I have been trying to get vertu Northampton to put right issues on a vehicle I brought from them and not one of the managers can return my calls it has been in twice and they still can’t sort it properly I have tried to put the matter to upper management and not even they have bothered I will never buy another car from vertu or vertu Northampton the service was appalling

Went in for a Citroën recall today. Excellent communication from start to finish. Booking was easy, recieved at reception by Charlotte, very friendly and professional. Left the keys went home. Communication was great, got a link to work carried out, phone call to collect vehicle within the day. Overall great experience at Vertu. Thank you Charlotte for your professionalism. Happy customers!

Firstly excellent exchange rate for my old VW Polo, came out with a gleaming nearly new VW Golf all within 4 hours. Special mention to Iain and Nick at Vertu Vauxhall Northampton for their humour and understanding in sorting this out so speedily, really appreciate it guys.

Kosta was very kind, and helpful. Understood my concerns as 1st time automatic driver - showed me everything and re-assured me. Very patient.

Our original speculative visit about a motability car was handled in a friendly, thorough and polite manner by Ashley Davis the salesman. We had the car ordered in an hour and a half and Ashley had explained each step in full, he found us a car they had in stock in the colour we wanted so we could view it physically not just on the PC screen, also had the model for us to sit in and test the seats were comfortable for me with my condition. He kept in contact with us regularly and the car was delivered in 8 weeks not the 18 when we ordered it, which was a nice surprise. Collecting the car was a quick and easy transaction lasting no more than an hour. I can't fault Ashley or the business overall for their excellent service all round.

What a refreshing change from other local car dealerships. Ian Earle’s is a credit to Vertu. Very knowledgeable about the product, was able to answer all our questions. A very pleasant experience, thank you Ian, you did a great job for us!!

My experience with Vauxhall Northampton was exceptional. Zaayan was a great person to deal with going beyond my expectations, I couldn't recommend him enough. He was not pushy, listened to my needs and I couldn't of asked for much more. They offered fair and reasonable prices for their vehicles and my part exchange. The car was priced fairly, and Kwame made the whole experience simple and stress‑free. A small documentation issue came up, but Kwame handled it promptly. Overall, a smooth and positive process.

Quick, efficient, professional and friendly service

I don't enjoy buying cars but it was pleasure buying from here. Really efficient, I saw the car asked for a test drive and it was ready to collect the next day. Price couldn't be beaten elsewhere for the make and model. Really pleased with the vehicle.
Staff were all really friendly, Hopeton was especially good. I would recommend.

Faulty car, removed review, and a dealership that fought a refund I was legally owed

I’m reposting this review because Vertu Vauxhall Northampton had my original one removed. I won’t accept that. Removing a factual review does not change what happened, it just confirms the pattern of behaviour.

The facts are simple. I purchased a DS 3 Crossback E-Tense. The car failed to start on collection day. When it was eventually delivered, mould had appeared inside within days, alongside further performance issues.

I formally rejected the vehicle under the Consumer Rights Act 2015. The statutory 14-day refund deadline passed with no payment. The dealership disputed the rejection, made only a partial payment after court proceedings had already been issued, and the matter was resolved through a small claims settlement.

Removing my review is dishonest. Potential customers deserve to know what happened here. The car was faulty. The post-sale process was slow, resistant, and required legal action to recover money I was already entitled to.

I have the court claim documentation to back every word of this up.

First class dealership in Northampton, love my Vauxhall Grandland thanks to Ed and Rachel in Sales, very knowledgeable and helpful.

Visit was Sat 13th June. Showroom was clean and airy and staff friendly. We dealt with a guy called Shayne. He searched for the car we wanted and nothing was too much trouble. We decided on a car and went through details that were explained fully and clearly and agreed we would collect the vehicle the following week. The car was presented well and on the test drive Shayne went through the features on the car. Back at the showroom we completed paperwork ready for us to drive away. We had to take our 3yr old grandson with us unexpectedly and Shayne was really lovely with him. All in all a great experience.

Kostas was very friendly and professional dealing with my new car purchase, he went through everything about the car and the buying of it.

Absolutely awful experience trying to buy an Astra GTC VXR from Northampton namely EDWARD STEVENS the used car SALES MANAGER, talks down to customers when deciding to put a deposit on this car was told to “TAKE IT OR LEAVE IT I HAVE 2 OTHER CUSTOMERS WHO WANT THIS CAR” and got worse when the price dropped by £685 overnight to which they flatly refused to honour the price drop claiming it wasn’t there fault.
Hounded all day to begin with promised the car would be ready for Saturday 30th May 2026 and must be gone then due to it being there end of month, yet wasn’t even MOTd until 1st June, to then be told I had to wait when deciding which finance company is best for me and comparing APR rates… then told conflicting things yesterday and despite telling EDWARD STEVENS I was at work and couldn’t answer phone calls only via email, had a email from him after they had closed to tell me because I hadn’t been able to speak over the phone I WASENT ALLOWED to buy the car and EDWARD STEVENS had cancelled my order and was refunding my deposit.
Disgusting attitude and behaviour from a sales manager!!
Would definitely NOT reccomend.

Staff very professional and friendly

I purchased a vehicle in February 2026. This went smoothly and the salesman Shayne Robotham was very good and assured that the car would be checked before I bought it. Within 2 weeks the drivers seat failed as the adjuster handle had broken away from the main seat. I am afraid that having raised the complaint immediately I was passed from Shayne to Edward Stephens, a Manager. I am still chasing resolution some 4 months later. I had to chase them repeatedly and was left feeling that, as they had my money I was not a priority. The seat had clearly been patched as the stitching had come away and should have been picked up in their checks before they sold me the vehicle. I am really Dissapointed as I don't expect this level of service from a main dealer. I am now considering raising a complaint to the Motor Ombudsman if the complaint isn't resolved soon.

Kwame was our main contact. He was very helpful throughout the procedure and always answered any questions we had. Very happy with our new car.
