Salesman (Gordon) was a huge help in deciding upon what car to get and I am very happy with the car

I saw the car I was interested in advertised online and went along to have a look. Andy approached me on the forecourt, he was polite and friendly.
He talked about the car, and listened to my reasons and list of things would like from it. Went for a test drive, and he worked out figures with a trade-in. I ended up going elsewhere for the trade-in which was fine.
I reserved the car on the same day as was impressed with the service and Andy knowledge of cars in general. Communication throughout the buying process was smooth, and always kept up to date with what was going on.
I picked up the car 5 days later and am very pleased with it. Would highly recommend Andy and Vertu Darnley to anyone looking for a new or used car - we will be back!

Not impressed at all with this company, the information I was given regarding a situation with my car,bought from new and already had to have diagnostics done on it is different from the information they've told nissan uk, making me out to be not telling the truth to nissan uk,I will be visiting them soon about this, from a very angry british army veteran, oh and if I knew what I know now about them I would have kept my trade in vehicle.

Had a great experience with Vertu from start to finish. Gordon was really good about staying in touch and getting back to me with info when needed. Damien was also good about supporting when needed. I would definitely recommend going to this garage for a new car.

Further to my previous review (about my experience when purchasing my new vehicle), I returned to Vertu Nissan Glasgow South to collect my new Qashqai. I immediately received a warm welcome and a cappuccino from Gordon Bennet (Sales Executive who sold me the car). I must commend Gordon on his easy going, but professional, manner. It was like dealing with an old friend. Similarly, Damian Bronshoff came over to wish me well with my new car. Once Gordon had concluded dealing with all the relevant paperwork, he showed me to my new car. To my surprise, it was sitting in the middle of the showroom with a black sheet covering it (I had thought that the sheet was covering some new model that was going to be unveiled at a forthcoming event). However, it was my new car and I must admit, it was surreal watching Gordon removed the sheet to reveal it. 10 out of 10 for the best handover that I have ever experienced in my life.
Once my car had been driven out of the showroom, Gordon provided me with a comprehensive guide to its features and also kindly paired my mobile phone with the car.
Despite having a Nissan Dealership a few hundred yards from my home, I was persuaded to visit Vertu Nissan Glasgow South because of the generous discounts that were being advertised on their website. This turned out to be one of the best decisions that I have ever made and the discounts were complimented by the stress-free experience between walking into the dealership to enquire about a new car and driving off with it. Consequently, I would have no hesitation in recommending this dealership to anybody considering buying a new (or used) car.

I visited the showroom this morning and was immediately greeted by one of the salesmen (Gordon Bennet). Gordon quickly established which car, model and colour I was looking for and was able to find one on the forecourt which allowed me to carry out a detailed inspection. Thereafter, Gordon presented me with the financial details, based on trading-in my existing car, if I wanted to proceed with the purchase. I was delighted to be offered a good trade-in price for my existing car and a significant saving on the manufacturer's recommended price for my new one. I have nothing but praise for the whole experience from being warmly welcomed by Gordon through to shaking his hand to conclude the deal. He was friendly and knowledgeable. I must also mention his manager (Damian Bronshoff) who was also friendly and knowledgeable and assisted Gordon with some aspects of the sale.
All in all, a first class and enjoyable experience and I am looking forward to picking up my new Qashqai next month. Thank you Gordon and Damian.

Staff were friendly and understood our needs. Not pushy and did exactly what they said they would to find us a vehicle that suited us, at a price that also worked for us.

From the moment I ordered my Qashqai back in November 25, I was kept up to date with every step. Shani Morrison was fantastic. She was courteous, knowledgeable and put both my wife and I at ease. There were unavoidable delays during the process and Shani gave me regular updates. All in all it’s been the best handover we’ve ever had, our previous one was shocking and took 4 hours!!! Please pass our thanks to Shani, she’s definitely an asset to Vertu Nissan Glasgow South!! First class service and we’ll definitely be back.

We had a fantastic sales rep Shani of vertu nissan Darnley. She was very professional and an asset to vertu. Very helpful, knowledgeable, patient and a very nice woman. 10/10 From start to finish. We are very pleased with our purchase.

I experienced very poor, incompetent and insensitive treatment when I tried to have my Nissan Qashkai serviced only 5 months after my partner bought it. She sadly died very suddenly in early Feb and was in hospital when the first service was scheduled in jan. She even contacted them from her hospital bed to explain the situation and reschedule service. She took out the monthly £35.99 service fee which I have continued, but I’m now cancelling. I told them of her death by phone three times and by email and the service was eventually rescheduled - even that was an overly and unnecessarily complicated process. I now own the car and have the V5 and I explained to them. I received email confirmation so I was surprised when I went to the garage that they said there was a problem and they could not service the car that day. Eventually after much discussion and my dogged determination to resolve the issue without leaving they made some phone calls printed out forms - which had NEVER been sent to me previously - and I fortunately had a photograph of her death certificate on my phone. They printed that off (why this was necessary when I had the V 5 they did not explain)The car was subsequently serviced. I was further surprised - indeed, skeptical - that it needed stripped and cleaned relating to the brakes which cost over £500. The car had done only a few hundred miles since she bought it so it seems surprising that such deterioration had happened in such a short period of time. I spoke to the Service manager when I returned to collect the car and I did receive a half hearted verbal apology for the catalogue of errors on the companies part but he was more keen but I appreciate that sales and service in Vertu Nissan South Side are separate teams and he was reluctant to accept responsibility. Frankly the internal organisation of the company is of no interest to me nor should it impact on the customer experience. I tried to cancel my service plan there and then but he would not do that for me and instead, gave me a phone number. I will never use this company again and would caution anyone contemplating buying a car here or taking a service plan.

I honestly couldn't have had a more positive experience. Shani & the rest of the staff were amazing. So pleasant and helpful. I was given a full tour of my car and all my questions were answered and explained. I was also welcomed and invited back anytime if I experienced any problems or had and concerns about my car. Being a women going into buy a car is quite daunting. I have had horrible episodes in the past. Such a contrast coming here. 10 out of 10!!!

The whole experience was smooth and so straightforward from arranging the appointment to pick of my new car. Although there was a slight mix up over who was dealing with my custom when I arrived, I felt welcome without being false. No question was too stupid and everything was explained thoroughly. And the reveal from under the sheet in the showroom was just genius making me laugh so much!
