I have purchased a Nissan Qashqia tekna from Nissan Glasgow central. I have been looked after by Zak. My car was ready to go but seen the dashboard had some issues. General Manager Barry Lindsay got the mechanic to sort be car out within half hour. Great service, this was my 2nd time have purchased car from this store and thank you both, will be back

Great experience overall! There was a slight delay with me receiving the pre-reg car I purchased, due to a faulty plug, which was beyond the control of the team at Vertu Nissan Glasgow Central and which was identified and then resolved by them prior to handover. Their sales team were excellent throughout - Zak, Stephen and Gerry were very professional, skilled, responsive, helpful, and friendly, and I would return to them to buy another car in the future.

From beginning to end, Michael made everything clear what we were getting. He found us a car that fitted perfectly what we were looking for in our next car. He took time to explain everything and checked the car over to make it special when we picked it up. Outstanding service.

My recent experience at this dealership was extremely negative, and I want to warn others about several serious issues:

Completely Unacceptable Communication: After my vehicle inspection, I received a technical video explanation that was impossible to understand. Even my niece, a fluent English speaker and trained surgeon with UK degrees, couldn’t make any sense of it. If educated, native-level English speakers can’t understand, how can you expect regular customers to follow? This shows a total lack of professionalism and care for customers.

Zero Transparency & Questionable Ethics: I was shown over £700 of extra “recommended” paid services, including two tyres and a repair for nearly £500, which should have been covered by the warranty. Only after I insisted I have been told that their “old platform” doesn’t differentiate warranty work. If I hadn’t asked, I might have unnecessarily paid hundreds of pounds. This is not just unprofessional—it feels misleading and exploitative.

Incomplete and Unsafe Work: I paid for a major service (£249), mainly to have the cabin filter changed because I have four children and care about their health. When I got my car back, the filter was filthy and clearly not replaced, which is a real health risk for my family.

Regarding the “complimentary” Wash and Vacuum Was: Only the front seats were vacuumed. When I called for feedback, staff told me “only the front is included”—this was never explained beforehand or written anywhere. This feels like another example of box-ticking rather than genuine customer service.

Summary:
This experience was all about poor communication, lack of transparency, incomplete and even dangerous work, and no real interest in customer satisfaction. I cannot trust the checks they claim to have done. With four children, I wasted both money and time at Vertu Nissan Glasgow Central and feel completely let down. I would strongly recommend others to avoid this dealership.

I had a fantastic experience in the way I was dealt with .They were incredibly helpful in that I was satisfied with the purchase of my new car .
I was dealt with a genuine sales rep which I would like to express my gratitude in the way he went above and beyond to ensure I was satisfied with all the necessary car details .Thanks John paul for a smooth purchase .

Recently my car had a service and found work was required which was costly. Lyndsey Craig looked into things further; found I had a warranty which I didn’t think would apply for this work. She convinced me to apply anyway and found all the work was covered saving me a lot of money.

There were issues with the works due to staffing shortage on the day but again Lyndsey arranged a courtesy car at short notice at no charge reducing the stress and inconvenience considerably.

It’s the staff that make the business and the staff I have engaged with have been great overall but special thanks to Lyndsey for going above and beyond.

I took my car to Vertu Motors Nissan Glasgow City Centre for its annual service and MOT on Wednesday, 21st May at 11:30 am. Later that same day, I was informed that the MOT had failed and that a spare part would be needed to pass it. I was told the part would arrive on Friday, 23rd May, and I could collect the car then.

However, by Friday noon, I had received no update, so I called to check the status. I was told the part had not arrived yet but was expected later that day. I called again around 2 pm to ask when I could pick up my car back that day if they couldn't repair it before closing, I was told the earliest would be Tuesday, 27th May, since Monday was a bank holiday. So, I clearly asked them to call me back with a pick-up time, explaining I’d bring the car back on Tuesday for the repair as I couldn’t be without it for six days over a long weekend and anticipated rainy weather.

Unfortunately, I never received a call back despite multiple attempts on Friday and leaving messages. Calls to the service department went unanswered and were redirected to reception, but no one returned my calls.

Finally, after 6 days, on Tuesday, 27th May, I got a call around noon to say my car would be ready for collection at 5:30 pm. When I requested a complimentary discount for the inconvenience and poor communication, I was denied—only receiving an apology for the lack of follow-up calls.

Overall, the service was disappointing due to poor communication and lack of customer care, especially given the inconvenience caused by being without my car for almost a week.

Just traded in our car for a brilliant new-to-us Ford, and felt in such trustworthy hands from start to finish. Michael Riley understood our needs as a family and helped us get the best trade in and deal for us. Very refreshing compared to talking to competitors - thank you!

I have just got my first nissan an it's been the best experience by far all thanks to John Paul the guys went above and beyond to help with my new car and I honestly can't thank his customer service enough he's made everything so much easier to deal with would highly recommend John Paul
