Unacceptable service, poor hygiene, and broken management promises
I bought a vehicle from Vertu and the after-sales experience has been deeply disappointing and frustrating from start to finish.
A few days after driving the car home, I was disgusted to discover used gum left inside the vehicle, showing a total lack of basic hygiene and prep standards before handover. On top of this, I was only given one key and spent over a month chasing the missing second key with no progress from local staff.
The General Manager only stepped in after I was forced to escalate a formal complaint to Head Office. Even then, her handling was appalling: I received a rude text message typed entirely in ALL CAPS, followed by an email promising a written update and resolution by Tuesday. She completely missed her own deadline. Two days later, I was simply texted a third-party technician’s phone number to make an appointment and arrange the key myself—passing management’s job onto the customer.
To top it off, the dealership actually asked me to purchase a service plan with them despite this level of unprofessionalism and poor hygiene. I have lost all confidence in their service and would strongly advise others to look elsewhere.

The whole experience from initial enquiry to vehicle handover was excellent.
Harry Cairns went the extra mile to ensure the purchase was seamless, great knowledge about the vehicle and after care products.
On handover of the vehicle he explained the controls thoroughly and ensured everything was to our satisfaction.
