Wonderful company, perfect support and the device really works -please ignore the haters!
I wasn't sure about making a purchase but spoke with their helpful support team BEFORE I bought so that I understood how to mitigate financial risk if it wasn't effective for me. Anyone on here moaning about cost, the device not working etc are fools to themselves for not speaking with the support team, who make everything easier and clearer. Haters on here clearly thought they knew best and are now crying that they actually didn't, and still have ED. Stupidity on their behalf. A phone call only costs a few mins of your time FGS.
For me the device worked right away. It's not always the most comfortable to treat but oh-boy, when the effects kicked in I feel 10-20 years younger. Took a few weeks to get there but they guys at Support explained all this before I bought so I knew what to expect. Now, I cannot rate highly enough and huge thank you to the chaps at Vertica that helped me all the way though. 5 stars!!

This is a good honest company who can absolutely be trusted. They give long enough period of time to see if the product works for you & reply promptly to any emails & questions you may have. If the product doesn't work for you, they offer you a refund subject to their T & Cs.

The Vertica website boasts “85% of men experienced an improvement in their erectile function” and “96% of men had improved hardness” based on “clinical evidence”. These claims were promising enough for me to buy one.

I used it thrice weekly for 5 months, and it made absolutely no difference. Their support representative repeatedly assured me along the way that the Vertica is definitely effective for most men, and that if I keep using it I should see results.

I then looked into the “clinical evidence”, and it turns out it is one study (funded by Vertica) with NO PLACEBO CONTROL.

How can they claim such efficacy based on a single study without a placebo? Why doesn’t their website say that their evidence is placebo?

When compared to other ED studies that are placebo controlled, we can see that the effect magnitude from Vertica is comparable to placebo. In other words, this means the Vertica in all likelihood does absolutely nothing.

Their website states that they are seeking FDA approval. Looking into this further, it is apparent that they are performing a placebo-controlled study right now. I have been in contact with some participants of this study, and I have been told that the participants can tell if they have a placebo device or not by the fact that the placebo devices produce no heat. This is a major limitation of their upcoming study, and will do nothing to prove the efficacy of the Vertica.

In short, I wasted £1275 on a scam. I should have read the study before I made my purchase. What am I even meant to do with this now? Bin it?

EDIT: Vertica attempted to get this review shut down. I had to give a lot of information to keep this review up.

I’m going to get in contact with the MHRA and ASA, as I am confident that the content on the Vertica website would be considered misrepresentation, and thus false advertising. It certainly fooled me!

EDIT 2: they continue to flag this review as illegal and harmful. This is a blatant attempt to shut down criticism of their product. I sent Vertica the following questions, of which they declined to answer:

1: why did you flag my Trustpilot review as being “harmful or illegal”? Could you tell me what part of the review was harmful or illegal?

2: could you tell me where on your website the name of the study is mentioned? You claim information about the study is available on the website; yet I cannot find it. I had to go to third-party websites to find the study. I am of the belief that references to the study are omitted due to awareness of the weakness of the study.

3: could you provide an explanation for why the Vertica-funded study did not include a control group?

4: could you provide an explanation for why you do not believe that the reported success stories of the Vertica are not merely a result of placebo? Please keep in mind that placebo has a strong effect on ED.

5: could you provide an explanation for why it is not misleading for your website to omit the fact that the study used to back the claims of success is not placebo-controlled? I am of the opinion that this is intentionally misleading by omission.

In terms of customer service it’s 5 stars as they really do try very hard. Unfortunately when you’re paying such a high amount for a product ultimately you want the product to work. And after a little bit of initial success, it didn’t really do anything for me. It is a shame as they are such a great company and really do try hard. It might work well for others and could be worth a go for you!

Update: thanks for the reply below. Many extensions to the 60 return date were given in order to try and see improvements but eventually there was none. It’s not out of warranty yet - it isn’t over a year old. And I’ve had no contact for a possible resolutions just offers of more training.

Great support! At first I found I could not tolerate a power greater than 2. It did not seem to be making much difference. I contacted support who advised me to increase the power to 3 when using the pad. They also advised that since I was using generally lower power I could extend the duration to 45 seconds. These two changes made all the difference.
To avoid burns or hot spots, stand up and first apply the gel underneath the shaft, then the sides and finally the top. Also, put a donut of gel around the electrode tips, on both sides.

Like any other devise i found it took a while to get the hang of using it. My first devise failed after a few weeks use, it refused to charge. The company were excellent to deal with and i had a new machine express posted to me within a week. No waiting for my faulty unit to get to them.
Yes the settings must be used correctly and build up the power intensity gradually not just go for the top settings to start with, this will burn your skin.
Results after 6-8 weeks was excellent, firmer erections and staying harder for longer. Use plenty of gel and continually apply more after just a few up and down the shaft strokes. ,After the 3 month treatment my wife and myself were delighted with the results. I continue to use the device once a week as a maintenance treatment.
Yes it is expensive but my manhood deserves the care and attention. Well worth the effort.

The product did not work for me.
I found the time commitment in reality was longer than 30 minutes. The setting were tough to get right as i found a burning sensation came on at certain level which i wasn't suspecting. Instructions were semi accurate in areas. Lots of gel needed.

Its a product that perhaps it will work if your really committed to using it and being ultra focused.

Not for me.

However, I was able to return the product no problem with a partial refund for restocking fee.
The customer care acted respectfully, promptly, and in good faith.

After many other products failed I decided to try Vertica as a last resort.
Obviously I was dubious about it, especially at the extortionate cost.

I have been using it now for almost a year with NO effect whatsoever..

Hence to say, Im extremely disappointed..

Regretfully, I have to give 2 stars. I desperately wanted this to work, but after 6 months of use, I see no difference at all. And I used it religiously, as per instructions. I don't mind the cost (if it had worked, then I'd have happily paid 5X as much), I don't mind the burning feeling, I don't mind the time. But I feel disappointed that it didn't work for me. I wasn't looking for a cure - any improvement, 20%, 10% would have been good. Maybe there is something wrong with my physiology?
The company is NOT a scam, it's very genuine. The product is not a scam and I'm sure it's helped so many men, if the internet reviews are to be believed. I did my research before buying last year - I even emailed the university in the USA where they are carrying out an independent study on the machine before it's approved/not-approved in the US.

The support is amazing. I believe there's maybe only a couple of guys running the UK branch, but I got excellent help whenever I contacted them (hence the 1 extra star in my review). However, I would rather have a product that worked (for me) and poor support, than the other way around.

So, to summarise, this is NOT a criticism of the company, or even the product - it just didn't work for me at all.

Very expensive. Very bad instructions. Also you have to HOLD the bottom the whole time you are using it. It's not 30 minutes it's like an hour. Also it's 250£ more for the one with the app .. the part that attach to the perineum also comes off. The customer service always has a qué. Tbh better of paying for shockwave for 6 weeks .. imagine sitting at home and hour and trying figure this gizmo out-is it working is it not . It it attached forever, why has the pad fallen off

Vertica Labs are easy to contact via their website and a couple of pre purchase questions I wanted to ask were answered promptly. Ordering the device was simple and easy, with free courier delivery and complete tracking, (or diverted to pick up location as I knew I wouldn’t be home on delivery date).

The device comes in good a quality case, which also contains all the accessories needed for use. The device itself feels very solid and High quality.

At first it does feel a bit difficult to use, especially during the ring + pad stage, but once you get used to using it, it does become easier, almost like a routine. A few days after purchase, I received an email offering a telephone consultation, during which I could ask any questions, all of which were answered very clearly. John Paul, who called me, also gave advice on how to get the best results with the device.

My experience has been good, maybe not ‘transformative’, but I am certainly seeing improvements now in the strength and duration of erections. Also, it is quite a thrill to start experiencing erections when you’re least expecting to; this used to be a bit of an embarrassment in the past, but now it’s a great feeling! Also, it does feel as though my erections have got slightly bigger, (especially thickness), than I recall, but this could be just a memory issue! This is after about four months of treatment, starting at three times a week for a month, but now tailing off to about once or twice a week.

So to sum up; this is quite an expensive bit of kit, but the cost obviously reflects the amount of research and development that’s gone before; looked at that way, then it doesn’t seem so much. I already consider it money well spent, and if I keep seeing the gradual improvement I have experienced so far, I think I’ll come to view it as an absolute bargain!

Really high quality (medical grade) equipment that arrived from Holland within two days. Easy to use. Symptoms much improved with regular use.

Truly innovative approach to helping resolve an "unspeakable" problem for a large number of men.

It's a bit of a faff holding this thing that looks like a gaming console in front of you and sitting on a thing that prods you in the rear end whilst producing a warm feeling. But it's really worth it. A month in, I've got more confidence in that department than I've had in the best part of a decade. It's a shame that more people don't have access to this equipment. I am very pleased that I found out about this and plucked up the courage (3 months later) to phone up and order one.

I can't praise the personnel at Vertica highly enough. The salesman that I first spoke to (I didn't catch his name) put me at ease very quickly- bearing in mind this is a highly personal (and somewhat embarrassing) subject. And for after-sales technical support John Paul is the 'Carlsberg-made' ambassador for the brand.

The emasculative feelings that come eith ED cannot be overstated. A big thanks to Vertica for providing such a worthwhile service

I purchased a Vertica device in February 2025. The device improved my ed somewhat in the beginning but not significantly. I was not able to continue using the device consistently as the RF energy within the device causes painful burning sensations
despite using copious amounts of gel and using the lowest heat settings.
I've spoken to the UK customer service team several times regarding the burning sensation and they said apply more gel. Even after applying more gel, the device causes very painful sporadic heat surges out of the blue. I have informed the UK Vertica team regarding this and am looking forward to a replacement or full refund for this Vertica device. I don't feel this device is safe for usage with the painful heat surges. The risk / benefits are not worth it.

Definate improvement in maintaining erections after three weeks
Improving slowly as more time goes on

I find the device complicated and rather messy to use and what's worse it doesn't appear to be having any effect after a month

The company is great: the support is excellent and Jean Paul is always contactable and helpful
The device is easy to use albeit being a bit uncomfortable due to sudden heat surges

Sadly however, there has been no difference in my ED after three months regular use of the Vertica plus device
