Poor product and marketing strategy

Poor product and marketing strategy.
Like many other women that were looking for a product to help with hair volume I done some quick online research and stumble across Vegamur website with all the "reviews though could br great so I decided to but 3 months worth of product because that is what's recommended.
I followed the instructions and used the product religiously and unfortunate did not make a bit of a difference. Money totally wasted. Little did I know that unfortunately by buying this mediocre product I was signing up for a subscription. This is hidden in the fine print on the T&Cs and at no point the customer is informed that they are entering a subscription. To my horror I saw the money coming out if my account and then I got an email with an order number. I immediately contact them to cancel but of course they said it was already dispatched. I had to return on my own expenses if I wanted the money back. Send the order to us costed me 35 GBP I was absolutely fuming because this product is not worth the postage.
The the company is well aware of the ineffectiveness if their products therefore they make sure unsuspected customers sign up to a subscription so they can charge them twice and count of the cost of retuning the product for the customer to give up on a refund.
Please be aware THE PRODUCT IS NOT GOOD! AND YOU WILL BE CHARGED AGAIN.

Awful experience

Absolutely awful product with an awful customer service. I emailed them months back to cancel my subscription. Looked at my account and saw funds taken out from my account. Contacted them straight away to cancel the shipment but they said it was too late and I will need to return the products from my expense.
Their excuse why they sent the products was apparently I reactivated the shipment which is rubbish. Now they are being difficult refunding my money even though I have returned everything.
They are an absolute nightmare. Don’t ever subscribe otherwise they will scam you

I tried to stop order from being shipped.

I tried to cancel an order and stop it from being shipped but that didn't happen. I sincerely thought I had cancelled my subscription with Vegamour then I was sent an email stating it had removed funds from my account. Straight away I contacted Vegamour wanting to stop the shipping but it didn't get back to me for well over 24hrs within that time it shipped the items. Finally I received a reply and it was very disappointing. I was told to send items back when they arrived in Australia. Now that is at my expense when I tried very hard to stop the item being shipped from the US. 'No worries' was the response when I expressed my concerns no sorry for any inconvenience nothing.

Daylight robbers

It is clear that they do not care slightest about customer satisfaction and I feel this is a moral obligation to report the scam they are doing as many others did here.
First and foremost, product did not work for me. It may work for others, but for me it did not.
They advertised to use the product for 6 months at least which I did and to save, I used subscription, as they clearly wrote one can cancel anytime, so I thought why not?!
But the reality is that, they have not warned about upcoming order, which they should and allow one to cancel/delay if they want to, and charged me for another round (and for fairness, they have sent the useless product too). And after that it has been a huge struggle to cancel the subscription. I have sent email for 3 times. It is impossible to cancel the subscription in the account, which help file says is possible, and in the account it sends you back to contact form in online help section. Useless product, fraudulent practise. I would rather call them daylight robbers.

Love it!!!

I have been using the vegamour shampoo, conditioner, and grow + serum for at least a year now and I have nothing but great things to say. I have so much new growth and my hair is so much healthier. I have fine hair and it was falling out in handfuls. I have so much less shedding and my hair is much thicker. Love it!!!

Don't know if the product works like other reviews claim. But definitely do not sign up for a subscription!

I'm still not entirely sure if the product works.
However, I can confidently say this is the worst customer service I've ever dealt with.
I didn't realise how often I had set the auto delivery subscription for. I haven't recieved my second order, and when I got an email to say I had 5 days to update the status of my 3rd order before they shipped it out, I emailed to say I didn't want the order and would like to cancel my subscription and that I still hadn't received my second order. I had no response... so I sent another email, still no response.
So now I'm a very unhappy customer who's lost $340(AUD). I cancelled my subscription through PayPal and hopefully vegamour can't take any future payments, but I find it despicable that they charge so much for a tiny bottle and don't respond to customers email. I never write angry reviews but Vegamour have left a very bad impression.

IMPOSSIBLE TO CANCEL SUBSCRIPTION

IMPOSSIBLE TO CANCEL SUBSCRIPTION! You cannot cancel it via your online account. There is a specific online form that you are asked to fill, that basically just goes into a void. NO response, NO acknowledgement. They charged me full price and sent the next shipping, despite all my efforts to cancel. ITS A SCAM! They will charge your account no matter what.

Made a purchase

Made a purchase. Never received an email about shipping. Contacted them 5 days after purchase went through was told they canceled and refunded. Refund took 5 days. When the refund came through I lost 20 dollars because of the exchange rate. When I contacted customer service about rectifying the mistake they made so I can repurchase by honoring the discount code and the loss from the exchange rate. All they said was and I quote “ , it was flagged by the system because it exceeded the allowable amount at checkout. “ Their bundle products all cost 100 or more. So that response makes no sense. They refunded me without any discussion and won’t respond to my question about correcting their mistake. Horrible customer service.

Horrible

Horrible! I tried Shampoo, Conditioner, Mask and serum. All together left my hair soooo dry and after mask that supposed to nourishing your hair, I actually lost my hair! Half of the length of my hair left on the hair brush! Absolute disappointment! If I could I wouldn't give even one star.

Horrible Customer Service

I placed an order with them using a coupon code they had on their website. I had previously placed 2 orders with them successfully using the same credit card and shipping and billing info. I received a confirmation email that my order went through and my credit card was charged. The payment posted on my credit card and I paid it but I kept wondering why they haven't shipped my order yet. After 9 days of waiting I logged in to my account and found out that my order was cancelled. No email no notification nothing and I had already paid the charge on my card. I contacted them to get a refund and they offered no apology and said they could give me a 20% off coupon that turned out to be available to everyone on their website. I had a 25% off when I placed their order because it was during the labor day sale. They said my order was cancelled for unknown reasons by the security system they have in place even though my order was legitimate. I've never seen such terrible customer service before. I tried writing a review on their website but they didn't post it. Their products are not cheap so you would expect great customer service when spending this much which unfortunately isn't the case. Save your money and go somewhere else. I've switched to a different company and I'm so glad I did. Vegamour doesn't care about customers all they care about is your $$$!

they will cancel your order and still take your money

I ordered a bunch of product because they were having a sale (coupon code provided by them!) . After about 4-5 days I didn’t receive a shipping confirmation so I called. And it turned out that they cancelled my order because of the order amount (their words). Never once did I receive a notification. Not a call . Not an email. Nothing. They just cancelled. However! They charged my card!! And that was confirmed by the customer sales rep. They charged my card even though they knew they were never going to deliver the products!! I had to call and inquire for order status to find out that they did not intend to ship anything. Now, why would you cancel an order and still keep the money?! Your suppose ship and then charge the card on file. Not the other way around. And then To leave the customer waiting for days to only to find out that the order has been cancelled. Incredibly shady I would not trust them anymore.

Worst customer service

Hello everyone! Unfortunately, I tried the products from this company, but nothing changed. Additionally, payment was made for the product that arrived without my consent. As a result, I requested a refund through the support email, but I didn't receive any response. Surprisingly, even though I got a new debit card, the amount for the product was charged again the following month without my consent. The bank informed me that the company seems to have a token with my debit card, allowing them to charge money every month.

I am extremely confused by this situation. I need support to understand not only the issue with money but also why these problems are occurring and why there is a lack of communication.

I’ve been a subscribed member for over…

I’ve been a subscribed member for over a year now. I’ve tried a couple of there items starting of with the shampoo and conditioner, I struggled with Dandruff and having my hair grow and when I tried this for the first time it made my hair softer and after continuing to use it it made my hair grow a couple inches and calmed down my dandruff. I also started using there scalp treatment and hair serum and that help my scalp with getting rid of the dandruff and as well as helping my hair grow. I also use there lash and eyebrow serum and it works wonders I usually pick at my eyebrows for no reason but this helps my hairs grow full and really thick to the point where I don’t need to fill to them in. As for the eyelash serum I don’t see much difference besides it making my eyelashes longer the only big difference I saw was that it made my bottom lashes thicker. Over all there products are amazing and I look forward to trying out there other products.

The worst customer support experience!

I had a subscription for the Hair Growth Serum. The first order came through with no issues, but for the second order I was charged and they never sent out the order.

I've tried contacting their support team via the online form on their website multiple times and they never replied. 3 weeks went past and I was charged for another bottle. So I went to log a claim with PayPal and in the process found their support email. So I sent an email explaining my issue and it was the worst customer experience of my life.

They offered me a templated response with an option to "switch to a different product" and return the item to get a refund, despite me clearly explaining that there was no item to return. They have still not admitted any wrongdoing or mentioned a refund, and canceled my subscription in order to "resolve the issue" and then closed my case.

Poor shipping and customer service has…

Poor shipping and customer service has exhorted me to rate them and leave this review. Seeing as the company is based in California and I was having the item shipped to California, what seemed easy was in fact the opposite. Firstly there are no clear shipping timelines on the website, and even then I didn't receive my order email with tracking number, after several calls to their customer service explaining I am travelling and need it by a certain date, can they have their fulfillment centre expedite the shipping. Instead of expediting the item was not even dispatched from their warehouse till 4 days after I placed the order, and even then it was estimated it needs a further 10 days which by then I would have long left the country. Hardly good customer service. I asked them to cancel the order and refund it, but even that they said they could not do.

Do not fall for their deceiving tactics!
I subscribed to lash and brow serums. They didn’t work, so I cancelled subscription through their customer service. Now I get a charge and when I contact them, they said that they just cancelled order and not subscription because I had to “reconfirm” that I was cancelling. I stayed my reason for cancelling (product doesn’t work) and they sent an email asking if I wanted to get a $10 discount for next shipment! Like why? So product will work if I get a discount. Long story short. They, again charged my cc and now after being with them on chat for hours, they want me to request a return, print label, take to USPS and wait until they ship product and I receive it, to get me a refund!!
