I WAS SOLD TREATMENT FOR A DREAM SMILE — I AM NOW LIVING A NIGHTMARE

I am sharing my experience because I believe people considering dental treatment in Turkey should know what happened to me.

I arranged my treatment through ValueDent Istanbul. I was clear about the treatment I wanted and the outcome I was promised. I travelled to Turkey in good faith, trusting the service that had arranged my treatment.

I was sold treatment for a dream smile. I am now living a nightmare.

Since my treatment, I have experienced approximately 13 months of ongoing pain and problems. I need medication every day to manage the pain, and it has affected eating, sleeping and normal everyday life.

I was also left without the aftercare and ongoing support I needed when problems developed after returning home. I have had to deal with the situation myself, including arranging further assessments and trying to understand what needs to be done to put things right.

I have already travelled back to Istanbul, including a return trip in March which I paid for myself. I have continued communicating with ValueDent about my situation and have been offered another trip to Istanbul for assessment and corrective treatment. I have explained that I am seeking a financial resolution so that the necessary corrective treatment can be carried out in the UK.

I am now facing extensive treatment. My existing restorations need to be removed so the teeth underneath can be assessed and treated where necessary, followed by further restorative work. I cannot currently afford the full treatment I need, leaving me in an extremely difficult financial position.

The effect on me has gone beyond the dental problems themselves. I have been living with daily pain, anxiety and uncertainty, while my children and family have had to watch me struggle.

There is also an important issue about how my treatment was arranged. I understood ValueDent to be the service through which my dental treatment was being arranged and presented to me. I later contacted the airline because I had personally paid for my flights and was told they had been booked through an agency. I was subsequently told by ValueDent that it operates as an agency.

I have now gathered the documentation relating to my treatment, payments, flights and communications, and this has left me with serious questions about how my treatment was marketed and arranged, and who was responsible for what.

I am sharing my experience so that anyone considering dental treatment abroad can ask those questions before committing to treatment: Who exactly are you dealing with? Who is providing the dental care? What aftercare is provided if something goes wrong? And who is responsible when you return home?

This is my personal experience, and I am sharing it honestly so that others can make their own informed decisions.

If I could give zero stars I would.

What a shambles of a place, Travelled to get crowns was told after scan and teeth review that would need to get all on 6. I explained outright that price didn’t bother me and that wanted to take the dentist opinion first..

She explained teeth were loose and wouldn’t hold crowns that would last 6 months to to the way treatment was performed with pressured water etc. was given 3 options for all on 6..

The 3 levels which was fine until the translator kept changing the price 3 times. First could get fixed teeth then I could only get removal temporary teeth. That if wanted fixed would have to go for most expensive package. Dentist came back in and recommended against fixed teeth as would cause too much discomfort. I asked to see temporary removal teeth and after seeing I decided against my treatment. That’s when price changed AGAIN!

I had to explain 3 times that I wasn’t going ahead. Until I showed them that I had changed my flight home.

I then waited 1 hour in reception to pay my expenses with nobody coming back out to me until I contacted Mr. Thomas and said I have gone downstairs I was over waiting. He then offered me an all on 4 treatment that would be cheaper.

As explained many many times the price wasn’t my issue. Was one the temporary plastic teeth then two. The price changes!

Thomas the coordinator stated was a doctor and simply isn’t and is pretending to be giving medical advice when has zero clue which is complete FRAUD!

Stay away at all costs!

Changed my life

In Januari naar Istanbul gevlogen naar eerst grondig alle tandarts klinieken te hebben onderzocht.
1 stak er met kop en schouders bovenuit Value Dent.
Toen ik aankwam opgewacht door een VIP TRANSPORT perfect tv YouTube drinken alles mocht ik zelf regelen van de chauffeur echt Top.
Het hotel was ook klasse een minpunt het lag niet echt gunstig gelegen voor als je graag Instanbul wilt bezichtigingen.
Afgelopen week van 23 tot 30 September terug gegaan in Januari mijn tanden getrokken en implantaten erin gezet .
Alles was goed genezen ditmaal wel een hotel dicht bij alles ,mocht je niet tevreden zijn maak je wensen kenbaar !!!! het MANAGEMENT heeft een luisterend oor en probeert te helpen zo ver ze kunnen.
Schroom niet om te vragen !!!
De 24e September werd ik door een van de vakkundigste DE VAKKUNDIGSTE Dokter/Tandarts de resterende abush geplaatst en moest ik happen volgende dag bleek dat ik nog 1 keer moest happen.
Deze Vrouw de dokter is een Topper bovenste klasse.
Over het weekend heen ging alles naar het laboratorium en Dinsdag de 29e September was het zo ver .
Eindelijk mijn definitieve gebit ,wat heeft de dokter haar best gedaan om alles perfect te laten zitten.
En eerlijk het zit perfect als een nieuw echt gebit .Dankjewel lieve mevrouw/Tandarts voor U zorgvuldig uitgevoerde behandeling.
Tevens een woord van dank aan het management Vanessa wie ook een ECHTE TOPPER is ze komt haar afspraken na en dat maakt het geheel compleet.
Mo jij ook jij hebt je nek voor mij uitgestoken op momenten dat het soms stroef ging. Alle anderen wie ik niet bij naam ken bedankt.
1 klein minpuntje maar toch 5 sterren Value Dent draait op verschillende raderen als een ketting en als sommige schakeks in de ketting niet goed werken geeft dat STROEFHEID,maar dankzij het management Mensen zoals Vanessa en Mo wie weer zorgen dat er olie op de ketting komt, loopt het altijd weer .
Bedankt en wie weet zien wij elkaar ooit nog eens in onze toekomst.

⭐️ 1 star – Very disappointing experience

I am writing this review because I want other people to know about my experience before choosing this clinic. I have kept all of the messages and agreements with the clinic, so I can document what was discussed beforehand.

The clinic contacted me first, and we discussed my treatment extensively through messages. I was very clear that I wanted dentures/prostheses. I did NOT want implants and crowns. This was discussed before I travelled to Istanbul, and I have the messages to prove it.

However, when I arrived at the clinic, the treatment they wanted to provide was completely different. Suddenly, they were proposing implants and crowns, even though this was not the treatment I had requested or agreed to.

I refused the treatment because I did not want to undergo a procedure that I had never agreed to. These are my teeth and my body, and I believe the patient should always have the final say about what treatment they receive.

Because I refused the proposed treatment, I also had to pay additional costs for my hotel and transportation.

The situation became even worse regarding my airport transfer. I was told beforehand that the clinic would arrange a taxi to take me back to the airport. At the last minute, they suddenly told me that there would be no taxi after all. As a result, I was put under enormous stress and almost missed my flight.

I have kept the messages regarding both the treatment and the taxi arrangements. This is not simply a review written out of anger — I have the communication and agreements to support what I am describing.

A hotel employee also told me that they had a negative opinion of this clinic. I cannot speak for other people’s experiences, but after what happened to me, this was certainly concerning.

My advice to anyone considering treatment here: keep screenshots of every conversation, treatment plan, quotation and promise made by the clinic. Do not rely only on verbal promises. When you arrive, make sure you fully understand and agree with the proposed treatment before allowing anything to be done.

My personal experience was extremely disappointing. I felt that my wishes were not respected and that what had been discussed with me beforehand was not what they ultimately wanted to provide.

Ich bin so verärgert, da mich mein Betreuer Thomas so hintergangen hat. Die ganze Klinik ist unprofessionell. Ich wurde durch den Knochenaufbau schwer verletzt. Sinuslift wurde geplant und nicht operiert. Erst behandelte man mich in der jetztigen Marmara Praxis und dann in der Valudent weiter behandelt. Bleibt weg, ihr werdet es sonst bereuen!!! Ich bin zutiefst enttäuscht für die tausenden von Euros die ich bezahlt habe. Wenn es irgendwie möglich wäre, würde ich die Klinik anzeigen!!!

It was my first time to do something for myself and my teeth were in a bad condition so a friend recommended Valuedent Dental Clinic and so I did .Dr Thomas was so reassuring and made me feel at ease, after a few chats and more reassurance I booked my flight and went .The professional service from when I landed was nothing more than excellent as was all the staff in the clinic and the hotel 100% . I travelled by myself but everyone made me feel welcome and at home. I can't recommended Valuedent Dental Clinic enough, thanks a million and can't wait until we all meet again thanks again Paul

I couldn’t be happier with my experience at Valuedent Clinic, from start to finish. The whole team were absolutely amazing and made me feel comfortable and confident throughout the entire process.

They were always in touch with me, kept me updated, and answered every single question I had regarding my 6-on-6 zirconia teeth. Nothing was ever too much trouble, and the level of care, professionalism and attention to detail was exceptional.

I travelled from the UK to this clinic trusting their promises of professional treatment, high standards of care and a lifetime warranty. Unfortunately, my experience has been the complete opposite.

Since my treatment, I have suffered ongoing daily pain, bleeding, food trapping, difficulty eating and continuing problems that have had a serious impact on my health and quality of life. I have also incurred additional costs seeking further dental assessments because of the problems with the work carried out.

I tried to resolve these issues directly with the clinic, but despite repeated contact, my concerns have not been properly addressed. I feel my complaints have not been taken seriously, leaving me with no option but to pursue formal complaints with the relevant authorities.

I am sharing my experience so that others can make an informed decision before choosing this clinic. This review reflects my personal experience, and I hope the clinic will take responsibility for the problems I continue to face.

Very professional and caring

I would recommend it 2 everybody! Value dent made something happen which dentest in the Netherlands couldn't realize without me paying huge sums of money. I contacted them in December 2025 & in May 2026 I had my smile back. They take care of your stay, transportation everything is top notch! Now women give me more attention than I even wanted haha naah just kidding...
But yeah, if you are thinking of renovating your smile.. And you are lost in all the offers from all those clinics.. I for one can asure you you won't be sorry if you contact the people of Value Dent..

I had a very good experience. I came for upper frontal tooth. It was an emerge y for my case. I felt listen, they gave me information in a very professional way. And made best decision for my problem. Doctor very experienced, I felt very comfortable, I had some fear but there was nothing to fear about, no pain. I felt reassured and felt best support. The manager director also gives me the best attention all the time , answered me at all my questions with a lot of patience. The result was incredible, he helped me choose the right colour of my teeth and results was very natural. I am writing this few weeks after my visit to Istanbul, and everything is fine. I like my new smile! And I smile a lot now! I highly recommend this clinic. Thank you to you all.
