Horrible customer service, they think that they have the right to micro manage customers lives with their B.S. today I tried to e transfer myself money from Valley First to my account at BMO they tried to block the e-transfer and hold my money in pending with no way to cancel the transfer nothing had to waste a half hour on the phone arguing with some CSR about getting my money back complete waste of time all because Valley First thinks they have the right to micro manage my life complete joke and I would not recommend this place to anyone. Horrible customer service.

The only thing that I absolutely hate is their on line banking. It is literally THE WORST. For that reason alone I am thinking of switching to a bank after only a few months with these guys. Also they do not offer Visa debit....like what??? Terrible.

I had a low interest rate mortgage and when I sold my home within 6 months of the renewal, the bank charged me $3,400. I tried to explain to their management they benefited from cancellation of a low interest mortgage so they could loan at current rates, their only response was to take the extra $3,400 to boost their profit. I’ve sold 4 other houses and no other national bank ever charged a penny.
They might be a “member owned credit union” but they could care less about you. Management only interested in fees.

I opened an account through a teller and a supervisor at the Armstrong branch.
Apparently “ I didn’t set it up correctly” so now ineligible for any perks. BUT as Anika says, I am more than welcome to refer people to her bank.
Stay away from this bank.

I recently visited the Armstrong Valley First Credit Union. I was somewhat upset about a statement and so I decided to ask for clarification. This Dutch sounding lady called Yolanda helped me and I must say, she stayed friendly and upbeat, although I was not very friendly. This lady understand what service means and I actually walked away very positive with a smile on my face. Awesome! Thanks Yolanda.

I had a suspicion that someone was accessing my account online. So I changed my password and the very next day I got a security message that a failed attempt to access my account. I notified the credit union and they chose to do NOTHING.

It seems they provide bad customer service and wierd accounting methods for the purpose of going out of business. You would think by their actions this is what they want.
