When I left my car before catching my flight, I asked the two people behind reception what I should do if I decided to extend my stay abroad. Their answer was, “Oh, just get in touch with us and we will charge you the equivalent of what you have paid for this booking.”
Based on this information, I felt confident extending my trip, knowing that I would be charged around £9 per day = £54. However, it turned out that both of these people misled me, and the charge is actually a fixed fee of £120. Therefore, I paid an extra £120 for six additional days, after already paying £89 for a 10-day stay.
I tried to contact customer service, make a complaint, email the manager—you name it. No one cares enough to assist with your enquiry.
I will never use their service again, which is such a loss for them, as I travel a lot.

I recently used this airport parking service and, overall, the experience was smooth and convenient. The process was straightforward, and everything ran efficiently, which I appreciated. However, I was disappointed to discover that a small amount of loose change (£3) was missing from my car upon collection. I had intentionally left the coins visible, and while the amount itself is insignificant, it’s the principle that matters. It’s unfortunate that such a minor but unprofessional action could occur, as it detracts from an otherwise positive experience. This kind of behaviour leaves a sour taste and raises concerns about trust and accountability. Based on this incident, I would now think twice about using Purple Parking again in the future.
Extra costs for vans…
Paid 183 pounds for two weeks parking then when we got there in my small van they hit me with you have to pay an additional 25 a day. Must say it in terms and conditions but this should flag when you put the registration number in but doesn't otherwise I wouldn't have paid to park here also my small van takes up no more space than a normal car so its a con. The lady behind the counter said I can let you off for 15 a day instead of 25 which I appreciate but 183 pounds is more than enough its just greed. Won't be using again
THEY KEEP YOUR CARD DETAILS
Having visited this website for parking . I was then inundated with 26% Discounts , 50% discounts. Until one day I decided to make a booking special offer it said
,26%off.I thought the special offer was for me being a good customer since 2022. Far from it. I put all my details in and I DID NOTICE "NO REFUND IF CANCELLED" At this stage I thought Iwas ok to carry on until it showed me a breakdown of what Iwas paying for. Then I would cancell if the price was not right. That did not go to plan as what I did not know was they had kept my card details from a previous transaction. So as soon as I said my details were correct they took my payment. NO BREAKDOWN OF THE PRICE WAS SEEN BEFORE THEY TOOK PAYMENT. I was also booked with GATWICK AIRPORT PARKING - NOT PURPLE PARKING. But the small print says they can do that.
I have cancelled, I have lost £108 But have booked again with another company with no hidden extras. My last review of this company was March 2022 and I have been using them every year for about 20 years. Even through COVID. This is not a way to treat loyal customers. This was a Super Gainer for Purple Parking not a Super Saver for me

Me and my friend parked the van here last weekend and I’ve noticed that all the coins out of my drivers side door have been stolen and my glove box has been gone through and left a mess. Yes I know I should not have left money in my door but it’s not the point. DO NOT LEAVE THINGS IN YOUR VEHICLE!!! Thieves!!!

Car was dented at Gatwick airport car park. I didn't notice on collection as it was dark. There is no recourse if you don't notice at the time. Needless to say i won't use them again as they don't look after your vehicle.

Be very careful with your card details. We made a booking using a new credit card but they took payment from details from a card that I’d used 2 years ago on another booking. I called HolidayExtras to query the charge and was told that it was taken from my old card as the details were held in the system regardless of the fact that I input my new card details. They took the money from my new credit card as well as my old card so I actually paid twice. They have said that a refund has been issued but have not received it yet.
Was good but now very expensive
I have been a customer since 2020 and used Purple many times, mainly meet and greet at Heathrow. The best provider was Maple but all (including purple) were good. The only issue I encountered were the very poor directions (they give no postcode in confirmation and want you to download an app).
They regularly send you discount codes. I have often just used these but today, I realised that this company is or has become a total rip off.
My code was BE268 for 20% off. I looked for t4 meet & greet (26/03 19.00 - 9/04 09.00 T4) and it was a whopping £297 for Maple. Ironically, without the "discount" code it came to £296. When I ran this query again, the discount code produced £289 for Maple.
This is more than Maple's own website and actually £50 more than Heathrow T4's official meet and greet (£227.60).
If you want really cheap, try Compare Your Parking Deals which provided me 5 companies for meet and greet UNDER £100 (all with good reviews and I will try them myself).
Moral of the story, these guys are well known and now very expensive. Don't take discount codes at face value and always check alternatives.
Purple Parking charged us an extra £150…
Purple Parking charged us an extra £150 because we have a pick-up that is not defined in their terms and conditions. We gave them the registration number so they know what the vehicle is and it parks in a standard parking bay. These guys are not honest, they hide additional charges in their terms and conditions to prey on unsuspecting customers. Very slippery!
Horrible experience
Horrible experience. Parked at T3 Heathrow parking no problem. On our return flight after an overnight long flight, with 2 tired and cold kids we tried to get on the bus back to our car. We asked the bus driver if this was the right bus, he refused to engage with us and told us to get off the bus. Very hostile. Turns out it was the right bus but then had no choice but to do so then pay nearly £30 for a taxi to get to our car or wait another 30 mins in below zero temps. Complained to customer services who described it as a 'miscommunication' and refused to refund the taxi money. Will never use again and would advise others to avoid. Awful.

Never ending bus journey
Purple Parking is fine in Gatwick, but not in Heathrow. At Heathrow leave yourself one hour from parking your car to reaching the airport. And the same for the way back from the airport to the car park . “Terminal 2 parking”is misleading. After going to Terminal 2 the bus back to the car park stops at terminal 3 and 5 (which is a half an hour detour). On Holiday Extras it says the buses are every 20 minutes. But at the bus stop it says every 25-30 minutes.

I am posting this review as a final warning to others, following a profound security breach and a month of total radio silence from Purple Parking Customer Service.
On July 5, 2025, immediately after collecting my vehicle (which was parked under a booking originating on June 29, 2025), I discovered that my car had been moved from your "secure site" without my permission and was found to have been driven approximately two and a half hours away. I have physical tracker data confirming this unauthorized movement.
I submitted a formal, detailed complaint on July 5, 2025. Despite your stated policy of providing a unique case reference and aiming to resolve issues within 21 days, it is now over a month later and I have received no communication, no case reference number, and zero updates on any alleged investigation.
This is not a minor dispute; this is a serious security incident involving the unauthorized use of a customer's personal property while in your supposed care. The fact that your customer service team has failed to even acknowledge the complaint with a case number, let alone investigate or respond, demonstrates an alarming lack of professionalism and concern for customer security.
I require an immediate, official update on this situation and a clear resolution plan. Until then, I strongly advise any customer concerned about vehicle security to look elsewhere. I have already secured my future bookings with an alternative provider where the keys are kept securely and the car is guaranteed not to be moved offsite.

I had an unrecognised charge while parking at London Heathrow, I really didn't have an issue with this company until I attempted to reach out to customer support regarding this matter, never have I encountered a company that make it so difficult to get in touch, a chat bot that sends you around in circles, a contact form that doesn't load, and no other way of getting in touch. infuriating.

This is purple parking London Heathrow, I was quoted a price £56 after submitting the reg plate while I was away for a week. I was happy with this price. However upon turning up on the day purple parking wanted a further £120 as my car is a pick up. They already know this based on the number plate but choose not to share this with the client where there is no time to sort out an alternative arrangment. This is underhanded play, dishonest and corrupt.

Find the parking area a night mare as the post code RH11 0QB takes you off road and the correct postcode for SatNav is Q Parking.
Once the car was moved by Purple Parking person it was left open as my Toyota tracker altered me so I was able to lock it back from Spain. Things could have gone missing.

Avoid by all means. we parked our car here and the car footage we saw on our car came is shocking.
-Speeding in a congested compound like the cars are their personal toys,
-lack of safety taken,
-Violating the car horn because the car kept beeping as the valet didnt wear their seatbelt,
-the cars are parked bumper to bumper and parked boxing each other in. Saw multiple occasions where three cars are touching one another.
-cars are kept unlocked. my phone app kept notifying me that the car was unlocked
