My activity with the people at US Gold Bureau has been very pleasant and a good learning experience.
The service has been excellent with each staff member I have worked with.
I have had the best delivery service I could expect when using the US Mail!!!

They are great. They follow up on the whole process. From the phone call message to call us back which they were prompt to do so, to the checking up to make sure we received our orders on time and satisfied, I say they are definitely on top of it all. Both times we ordered we have totally been pleased. We highly recommend them.

They were good at communicating the whole transaction. Felt comfortable with this .

Bought many times from USGB. This time was somewhat unorganized. Last time their unsolicited barter suggestion took 10 gold buffalos from me in exchange for 3 certified coin sets. The buffalos subsequently went from $3K each to $5K each and the certified sets increase has been minimal. Needless to say, their investment advice was questionable, and I am kicking myself for listening to the salesperson... Only time will tell.
I am about to test their buyback guarantee and will report back in a future review.

Every time we make a purchase from US Gold Bureau we receive excellent customer service. We have purchased gold coins from several companies. None of these companies have sales reps that have the knowledge that US Gold Sales reps have shared with us! We highly recommend them.

It was great, very honest, very clear in spoken word, very informative.

My original rep was good...responsive, seemed to care. He left the company. The current rep is all about sales. If I am not in a position to purchase more, he isn't really interested in me. I asked for information 4 months ago, and it was never provided. He called back again maybe a month ago, acted surprised I never got the info, said they dropped the ball and he would see that it got corrected. Still no info. This has now been going on for 4 months. I have given up on this company. I am in a bit deep with them, and I regret those decisions. This began late December. I dated this 12-29 but honestly, the date may have been slightly earlier.

Nathan was great and fun to talk to.
Didn't push me aggressively and delivered what I wanted.

Good experience….premiums are too high.

I have ordered investment grade metals from U.S. Gold Bureau on numerous occasions. All of my orders were packaged and received in excellent condition, and I received what I ordered. Some orders were received a little longer than expected, but I was kept inform.

Both Peter McCarthy and Roger are very very helpful. I have some friends that I usually recommend them if you will contact US Gold just to keep in touch with them both of them are very helpful and they do their best to help you to grow your portfolio. I blindly trusted both of them and whatever they ask me I do because of the trust I have with these two persons

Now, the bad, to me anyway:
Tried using their highly touted “buy-back” policy recently with gold I purchased and wanted to sell back to them due to a run up in price.
By the time they got back to me, gold had dropped about $700/oz, so I didn’t feel like selling anymore. Not much of a buy back policy. Actually a joke.
I use their sister company TXBD to hold some of my investment coins and bullion and if I had the gold here at home, I could have gotten my price from a local dealer. Buyer beware concerning their buy back policy. It took them 10 days to 2 weeks to get back to me after my initial buy back request. Makes me think they didn’t want to buy it back at the higher price, so they delayed until gold came down quite a bit. Not a good way to treat someone who’s done a lot of business with you.
I also find their pricing to be much higher than competing companies, so while I do use USGB for certain investment grade coins once in a while, for the above reasons, I have moved ALL of my bullion (all metals)buys to other suppliers and almost 95% of my investment grade coins business elsewhere as well. They charge too much for the same coin products available much cheaper elsewhere. Same coins, same PF70 grade, PCGS/NGC certified, and signed, yet consistently 20+% more $$ from USGB. Why?
Just one man’s opinion, YMMV.
