Prima alternatief voor Highwinds Zeelandnet.
Toen Zeelandnet stopte met Highwinds ben ik op zoek gegaan naar een payserver om mijn gebruik van Spotnet te kunnen voortzetten. Hierbij uitgekomen bij UsenetDeal.com en gekozen voor een block 500 account voor € 9,99. Voldoet voor mijn doel prima. Eenvoudige aanmelding. Snelle reactie op betaling, duidelijke instructies, snelle verbinding en zeer ruime retentie. Het account verloopt nooit. Ideaal voor incidenteel gebuik van Spotnet voor een paar muziekcd's en een paar boeken.
Malafide en crimineel bedrijf.
Onbetrouwbare club, wekken de schijn dat je zonder verdere verplichting een proefperiode de dienst kunt proberen. Hierna gaat de proefperiode echter over in een abonnement die stilzwijgend word verlengd. Na opzeggen en storneren van 2 x een bedrag van €3,69 brengen ze direct €15,- per stornatie in rekening. Zogenaamd omdat hun betalingsprovider deze kosten in rekening zou brengen. Als je hier een bewijs van vraagt zijn ze ineens niet meer zo transparant als ze beweren en moet je hier een officieel verzoek voor indienen. Bezint eer ge begint met dit malfide en criminele bedrijf!! Lees ook de andere reviews hier, had ik die maar eerder gelezen, dan bespaar je jezelf een hoop ellende!

They automatically charge debit card and account page refuses to cancel my subscription
My last year's subscription supposed to expire on 11.01.2025, but they have automatically charged my debit card for a new subscription on 01.01.2025 for 2025 without asking for my approval.
Today on 03.01.2025 I wanted to cancel my subscription on their site from my account and their site refuses to cancel it.
I attempted to send a message to them via their contact form on their website and it rejects it with a dutch message:
"Er is een fout opgetreden bij het versturen van het bericht; probeer het later nog eens."
which in English means "An error occurred while sending the message; please try again later."
This is simply evil and mean, like we can't get rid of the parasites. Never ever use this service. I will tell everyone to avoid them like plague.
* UPDATE on 12.01.2025: since I have complained about the forced automatic subscription renewal here on Trustpilot, they have refunded the money and cancelled my subscription after days of arguing back and forth with their customer service via email. The issue with this is that most people with similar experience won’t care to complain here, especially those that don’t speak English well. They will most probably not get any refunds.
In their FAQ they state that:
“Subscriptions must be cancelled with a minimum of 30 days before the new term starts in order to cancel it on time, otherwise the subscription will be extended with the same term.”
This is an evil trick to trap people, because most users don’t think months ahead, but realize the end of their subscription only a few days before they expire. With this policy by that time it is too late, because they won’t be allowed to cancel, and their money will be automatically siphoned off from their bank card, because they keep the card information on their servers. For a renewal charge the customer will not be asked by the bank or by Usenetdeal to approve the new payment. The money will be simply gone.
In their FAQ they state that:
“Your account does not automatically renew.”
This is false, apparently my subscription did automatically renew without any prior warning or asking for permission. Customer service wrote to me that they did send me a reminder email, but I have never got any.

“When you have selected 'Automatically renew my product.', your account will automatically be renewed at the end of each term, repeating the length of the previous service period (subscription service), unless you specify otherwise.”
Here is the sneaky trick hidden. I have never selected 'Automatically renew my product.', because I never do such thing for any subscription. I prefer to keep control over paying or not paying again for a renewal, so I never ever select such an option for any service. When I originally subscribed for only one year, I was not asked if I want an automatic renewal or not. If such an option was selected, then they themselves did that by default, and did not mention that I supposed to unselect it in case I don’t want it.
Also, they did not automatically renew ‘at the end of each term’ but 11 days before the end of the subscription. Yet another trick, playing with words like legalese.
When you combine the several chained tricks:
- the default auto renewal setting when you open your account,
- the inability to cancel during the last 30 days of your subscription term,
- the storing of bank card data on their servers and automatic card charging without asking for my payment approval,
- the unresponsive contact form in my account,
then you get a perfect recipe to trick users into paying again, even if they don’t want to use the service any more.
By the way, I subscribed for one year only out of curiosity to see if it is any better than torrenting. It is not, and a lot more complicated, so I have used their service only for a few days, which is another reason why I forgot to cancel it 30 days before the expiration date.
Originally I gave this 1 star, but since they refunded my money after complaining here, I change it to 2 stars. They don’t deserve more stars from me because they did not change this evil policies, and the trap is still alive for other users.

Altijd goede verbinding
usenet-access okay, Customer service does not respond
The usenet-access itself is working well, but customer service ignored questions. I bought a block, and cannot see how much there is left of it. I sent a question to the helpdesk, but that is completely ignored.
Edit: Support answered after a month. Their reply was that it should be fixed, but it wasn't. I have been waiting again for a couple of days for a actual solution.

Using the service since a few days, everything works, speed is as requested. Don't have tested old files.

Ik heb recent een tweede server geïnstalleerd en heb daarvoor bij een nieuwe provider (usenetdeal.com) een extra abonnement afgesloten. Helaas krijg ik geen contact met deze nieuwe server
Slecht tr bereiken bij problemen
No response to email
I have sent several emails that simply did not get a response. Finally it was a week later that I was able to use usenetdeal without any response to my email.
Problemen met gebruikersnaam / wachtwoord
Relatief snel geregeld (dacht ik).
Ik heb gekozen voor een databundel.
Kan inloggen op mijn account pagina en concludeer daaruit dat ik gebruik kan maken van de nieuwsserver.
Bij desbetreffende programma's krijg ik keer op keer te zien dat de gebruikersnaam en/of wachtwoord onjuist zijn.
Heb inmiddels gereageerd via de chat en mail maar mocht nog geen reactie ontvangen (zal het weekend zijn).
Hopelijk is het spoedig werkend.
Eindelijk een reactie gekregen.
16 oktober stond er een bericht in mij SPAM.
Het probleem is opgelost, het werkt maar wel rete traag
