The newsservers are OK, but the payment service is not. This is the second year in a row to that usenetdeal reports a failed payment but the bank repoets payment is OK. This needs an improvement otherwise this will force me to end the subscription. .

I would give zero stars if that were possible.

UsenetDeal continued charging my card after my subscription expired, after I cancelled, after I deleted my account, and after I explicitly emailed them asking them to remove my payment details.

This is now the third unauthorised charge attempt. One charge went through, and another was declined only because my bank account had no funds left.

To make matters worse, after charging my card without permission, I received an email saying:

“We have successfully received payment for invoice UD5************.”

This payment was not authorised.

At no point was there clear confirmation that billing had stopped or that my card details were removed. Continuing to charge a customer after cancellation is unacceptable and has forced me to involve my bank and prepare a chargeback.

I strongly advise anyone considering UsenetDeal to check their statements carefully and be prepared to cancel via their bank if needed.
