I enjoyed the Bass Dragon a lot. When it comes to adding bass to your production, rule of thumb is match it with chords, but what I appreciate about the Bass Dragan is the verssility it provides. I... Leggi di più

genre based sounds seem limited
as a standalone synth it has a lot of features that make it powerful, but whilst its claim of generating unlimited genre based sounds is technically correct (as it will always role the dice to create something new) however in practice the same/similar sounds keep getting generated. The argument could be that this is as intended since each genre has particular sounds that limit the output, but after clicking over and over the output starts to get very repetitive and you wonder if there is any point in clicking again. Please note, nothing stops you from taking the generated output and altering it to better match what you want, but it isn't usually the ready to go sounds that you'd expect from (in contrast) a genre based sample pack. Please note, again, I'm not saying it doesn't generate genre based output, just that the output does not vary by a large degree so if you don't feel the output is what you need then clicking more probably won't help you. I'm hoping they release an upgrade with more algorithms soon otherwise I expect this will be returned as they have an excellent return policy. Final note, they did offer an add-on of sounds taken from big name artists that I did not purchase, and maybe that was my mistake and the synth is significantly better with the add-on, but I can't know if that is so. Also, final-final note, I own and use midi wizard, bass dragon, drum monkey and so I'm already using unison generated output, this particular product is less than I hoped.
Unison 4000 characters
Unison, a name for computor software specialized attending to music production developed of people individuals who had learned to use computors to program with a computor language technical, precise and produced of computors themselves who initially evolved from adding subtracting multiplying and dividing capabilities with electricity and learning as a child, and then word processing and communicating and the marvels of a spreadsheet that could update changing numbers or finding replacing words in a text. The computors had feelings, learned about a life on a world with darkness changing to the light of a day. The computors experienced zolts and volts, heat and warmth. Their cathode ray tubes were holiness temples precise of copper wires, gold and electronic components beautiful, good, appreciable. And then wow, somebody devised a computor to play music sounds. Somebody else envisioned computors to link as internet. Others programmed games, made visuals of letter symbols.
Somebody labored and configured a computor to display a photograph with colors or drawings, and then the biggee, video movies. The computors were modified to have bigger capacity, millions of bytes, then billions, and now trillions; really. Along with movies came sophisticated sound capabilities, and editing software. Internet became real, with global internet capabilities. Telecommunication satellites, an international space station in orbit around the world. Twelve thousand space satellites. Two hundred million computors were made. Computors are great, really good, and the project directors achieved and produced really good. Isolated communities got mobile phones that are mini computors with amazing capabilities.
dlak-TM is a musician, influenced of good music, of good FM stereo radio music. He was homeless, destitute, a life of poverty yet religious influenced of HOLY BIBLE, and religious aspects God, and religious interactions of existences. dlak-TM had aspirations including movie production influenced of STAR WARS movies, dolby (R) noise reduction and incredible soundtracks with great technology electronics. Big money, big endeavors. 700,000 people wanting to be a musician to get a million dollars quick and easy, wanting to have fun as imagined of concerts and movies.
It wasn't fun being poor, no money, and nobody cares including govt or good christians. Poverty is not fun. dlak-TM went into a music store and bought a harmonica, noticed the clean organized store with music instruments and sound recording equipment. Drums with chrome, brass trumpets, wood electric guitars and amps. Wow! He bought a harmonica and hit the streets blowing his guts out for an average of $3 a day.
The perils of being poor. Other people individuals poor, not religious, thiefs, liars, and murderers. ATZE-TM b, the author of this, was a victim of their violence, numerous times. The govt had failed, society was a mess. Big money was being spent on Congressional salaries and space technologies, but poor people were not getting any of it. ATZE-TM b worked as a laborer, a russet color hair minority amongst black hair majorities who were cruel, and received $4 an hour, or $7 an hour. The black hair boss got $40,000 a month, paying the employees $800 a month, and after expenses got $30,000 a month crazy money. An evil society with evil money, of some getting big amounts of money while the majority were kept poor. An evil society.
A society of 2000 years, producing roads and highways, good roads. Electricity and telegraph, phonograph records and dictaphone. Teletype and radio, television and computors. dlak-TM b ATZE-TM aged and was accessed to retirement with a money pension. He was accessed to computors and internet. Computor freeware software, an incredible and amazing concept; thank you for the rree software. Amongst those concepts are producing recording a song or movie, the labors editing, and then sharing the song or movie free, perhaps with conditions of use. Copyright 2026 ATZE-TM b.
Unison.audio as a business, produced music sound production software, sold for a money amount. Fun, ease of use, good results. Other people individuals and business groups produced music editing software, good, fun, and ease of use. Some was freeware, some was expensive, and some was reasonable. Unison.audio of recent times of this composing, March 30, announced a new venture with a product named Unisynth. Curious, their other software was incredible and what is UNISYNTH going to be? A synth evolved to be a hardware electronic device with a keyboard similar as a piano, but with knobs and sliders to vary electronically the sounds it produced. A man named Robert Moog explored various components to produce electronic sounds. MOOG.
unique wavetable options make this a favorite
UniSynth has unique fun ways to manipulate wavetables so is good fun. Besides moving through the wavetable frames as in Serum, Phase Plant, and Pigments, itself always a pleasure, with a vertical slider, you can choose from 20 algorithms in Advanced mode, from a dropdown just below the waveform on left, which alters how the horizontal slider warps the wavetable. It's easiest to see what's happening if you click the little hexagon the middle of the 3 symbols in the upper right of the waveform display. Very cool and interesting. Easy to assign and see assigned controls, too. And since you can drag and drop in your own wavetable, these unique distortions can be applied to any wavetable you like. [Not all unique as algorithms by any means, options include AM/FM from the other oscillators for example, but the x/y pad control through the wavetable and shaping simultaneously is wild].
The AI which seems their big selling point is basically AI influenced randomizers trained on genres to create instruments from the available controls. [Not melody generators]. Randomizers are often fun and the odd slant to randomization added here is kind of cool. I don't know how on target the generated sounds are to the trained-on genres, for instance I quickly generated a Pad that was no such thing - but it's fun and actually comes up with nice sounds IMO. But the AI/randomization wouldn't make it worth buying to me; the excellent wavetable options do.
A whole new way to look at sounds!
This is a machine and a half. The amazing sounds it creates are only the start of the fun - it just gives so much control. Sounds are crisp and powerful and have already started incorporating them into tracks!
The sounds can be more rich
The sounds can be more rich, think & warmer, more effects, higher quality generated sounds, SFX, a choir, Vox and add in sample drop box should be added.
Loving Unisynth!
Loving Unisynth!
Got the foundations of a new track laid down yesterday using Unisynth.
Added some additional audio effects to the existing patches and sounds amazing.
It saved me so much time trying to create patches from the start with other synths and lets me concentrate on finishing the track instead.
Unisynth Expectations: Exceeded
Despite Unison's varying reputation around the internet, they have a variety of great tools that are worth a shot at trying before forming an opinion. Unisynth is one of them: even advanced users can incorporate their own wavetables, samples, and impulses!
I really like the 1 click approach
Really like the 1 click approach to get a pre-set instantly, like all unison plug inn.
Although I find the easy parameter edit a breeze, the more advanced screens are somewhat overwhelming to use.
But this device is something special and really is a great addition to your gear
so easy now to create song
so easy now to create song , just remember to saver it before generate new one , not sur to create the same again :)
The Unisynth is incredibly Intuitive
The Unisynth is incredibly useful—the depth of its engine allows for a wide range of high-quality sounds. The generative features have already made their way into a few of my mixes, where I’ve been auditioning different “suggestions” in real time, letting the mix play while searching for elements that naturally fit into the overall flow.
Don't fall for it
I've been watching this business for years and they haven't really changed their syntax, almost the whole website is there to explain why their plugin is "the plugin", and almost 90% of what they say is disputable, the more disputable it is, the less trustworthy it is, not to mention that it's CPU usage from their plugins burn more than the big shots of the place, you can practically get Arturia Analog Lab Lite for free and get the same amount of stuff for better quality.
Just a recommendation: if you wanna make real music, there are tons of free stuff out there for you to use, take advantage of them, be creative.
How easy it is
How easy it is. With a few generations and adjustments here an there in the engine and effects I have come up with some great sounds. Having many sounds and all of the generations as a starting point is what helps me. It's much easier to come up with great layered sounds
This synth is great for getting starting points and ideas
This synth is great for getting starting points and ideas! And provides and easy path to curate the sounds even further to incorporate in to my music.
My only thing with this current version is that the synth instances load fairly slow inside my project, sometimes taking a few minutes to initiate (I'm using BitWig).
If not for the load times I'd give this a 5-Star Review for sure because it comes in soooo handy when creative writing and following inspiration.
So far so good
So far so good, I'm looking to get into more in the next few weeks. great times so far.
Great Job Unison!
Sure the Standard mode is fun & easy, but the Advanced mode gives you control that's on par with Serum & Vital. I highly recommend watching both the Deep Dive and Advanced Implementation videos to really get the most out of Unisynth!
-mattyjo
Unisynth was worth the wait!!
The new Unisynth is crazy! Not only can you manually create sounds and presets, similarly to Serum's processes, but the ability to auto generate presets and variations of a presets and all details within make this a game changer. Unbelievable tool that's going to revolutionize synths.
Absolutely amazing plugin
Absolutely amazing plugin, especially after generating a sound you as the artist can manipulate it however you see fit! 💯 🔥 Always from Unison!
Tapestry of sound
This product creates an absolutely amazing tapestry of sound that feels both rich and three‑dimensional.
