best customer service ever. Techs walk you through any problems. Honor their guarantee on the watch and will replace if defective or not working up to expectations. Very concerned about their customers safety and satisfaction.
Quick-start instructions were clear and easy, the online manual answered all my early questions. Handling the battery changes is straightforward. I deeply appreciate being able to wear it continuously rather than taking it off to charge.
The software is clearly learning my habits, as after two false alarms on the first day it adjusted to my normal motion. When I changed to the other wrist it learned quickly as well.
Bonus delight: the onboarding call was easy to follow, clear and understandable, answered all my questions, adjusted my record so the monitoring service has full details.

OUTSTANDING customer service!!! They are patient, good listeners, positive, & excellent communicators. Every time I called, I reached an agent QUICKLY - no never-ending phone trees & no AI. I worked with Jake several times to troubleshoot problems I was having with my outdated modem - he guided me step-by-step to identify & solve the problem.

Who knew I needed a Split Signal 2.4G to get my home Wi-Fi, Xfinity, for my Kanega Watch to be connected! Good thing I managed to schedule the personal onboarding call but I waited due to a broken prong on one of my 4 batteries. Although I downloaded the 43 page User guide for explicit directions and to watch educational videos, human explanation was exceedingly more helpful!
I am 90 and not good at these writings. It was a wi fi
problem at my home. I use a neighbor's wi fi and there was a one letter error in the wifi's network ID. It was a
pleasure working out the silly problem with patient,
knowledgable people!!
I only get about 12 hours from the batteries after full charge.

There were problems from the beginning; keeping it charged internally, external batteries were faulty, false detections, no detection when I did fall, and I had Unaliwear on speed dial. The representative I was working with gave me misinformation and strung me along for almost 6 months. By doing so I missed the opportunity to return the watch & get a refund. I learned that he was no longer with Unali for that reason. I left messages for a manager to call me back to discuss my $49 refund and never did get a callback. I had to call several times before I found one. The refunded amount received was based on the length of service I had for the watch, even though the watch was not in service because it was not working properly. I learned not to be such a nice guy when dealing with the same issue. If it looks like a lemon, and it smells like a lemon, it's a lemon.
Battery life indicator seems unreliable. Sometimes it says fully charged when it's not. I can't tell when the batteries need to be replaced. That makes me worried that the device won't be there when I need it.
Also, wish I could pick my own "action" word. I'm afraid I'll forget "Fred Astaire" when I need to activate the watch.

Great customer service, but wristband clasp was not properly staying closed. Seems like poor engineering so we paid for shipping for a replacement band: but I think you should have paid shipping due to faulty clasp. Unsure of date below.
I like my Kanega watch and rely on it. The only reason I gave it 4 instead of 5 stars is that I have to change the batteries twice a day instead of once per day as advertised. Also the price is very high, and I don't know how I will continue to pay for it when my first year is up. I think the customer service people are great, and I appreciate being able to talk to a human.

I have had a Kanega watch for years and to begin with it was fantastic. The watch worked great and customer service was incredible. I recommended it to everyone.
About a year ago I had to use the warranty service for a watch that turned out to be due to a software error in their database. They kept telling me it was my fault...and after 3 weeks, finally agreed to give me a new watch. The new watch was a piece of junk. The strap wouldn't stay closed (they had changed the style) and kept falling off. The batteries would pop off, their backings would break off, and finally one just hung by a wire after a usual fall off my wrist to the floor (as many as 3 times a day.)
Today I discovered a charge on my Visa for the annual subscription. The subscription is in my brother's name and he has always paid for it. I asked for a refund (I had canceled my subscription 3 days prior) and they couldn't do that!!! They had to send me a check. They can debit an account and not credit it? I never heard of such lousy business practices, especially since I should never have been charged in the first place!
They have gone from a 6 star to not even rating a one.
