As with any reputable UK storage company, your goods must be protected or insured while in storage. StoreProtect is tailored to the Storage Industry and is a form of Contents Protection, also known as Enhanced Liability Protection. It is not an insurance contract, but it is designed to protect your goods on a “new for old” basis for the full replacement value you declare (unless under‑valued). StoreProtect does not affect your own home insurance policy or your no‑claims bonus as it a separate stand-alone product. Comparing this for a like-for-like product our StoreProtect policy is competitive against other contents protection products within the Storage Industry.

A key part of this process is ensuring that items are covered for their correct replacement value at the time you take out the protection. If the value is set too low, it may affect the final settlement amount. This is why we always recommend selecting the full replacement value— which is why we recommend customers protect their items for their full replacement value to avoid depreciation or limits affecting potential claims.
