We had one of the worst contractor experiences we have ever dealt with using Move Your Spa.

We booked them to move our hot tub after providing full dimensions, detailed videos of the access route, and all requested information in advance. The exact same hot tub has previously been moved in and out through this route multiple times without a crane.

The company failed to turn up for the original 8am booking slot, despite apparently knowing from 6am that one of their engineers was off sick. Three people had taken time off work to help with the move and were left waiting with no communication. We only found out after repeatedly chasing the office ourselves.

A rearranged 5pm slot was agreed. We again arranged additional manpower exactly as requested. When the team finally arrived, they barely assessed the route before declaring the move “impossible” without a crane. No proper attempt was made to move the hot tub at all.

The most shocking part was what happened next.

Despite not moving the hot tub even an inch, their staff demanded the remaining balance in cash and insisted on following me to a cash machine to withdraw it. I felt extremely uncomfortable and pressured into paying £460 for a job that was never carried out.

In total we paid £640 and received absolutely nothing in return.

The company later tried to justify keeping nearly all the money by claiming there were access issues and insufficient manpower, both of which are factually incorrect and contradicted by the evidence, messages and witnesses we have.

We are now pursuing the matter formally.

If you are considering using this company, I would strongly recommend getting every single detail confirmed in writing and thinking very carefully before handing over any money upfront.

Had 2 guys Simon and Scott come today to do the spar move. Wow they did a first class job. I had considered trying to do the job myself, I do have mates and transport, but after watching closely these guys I am so glad I didn’t try myself.

Honestly I couldn't ask for a better service. Simon and Scott have just left with our tub for pastures new. It was a difficult job to do, but they did it amazingly.

Really easy from viewing in the showroom, selecting the right hot tub for us, arranging delivery and finance and the installation team arrived bang on time were really pleasant hard working chaps and fitted the hot tub quickly and efficiently- can’t wait to get in and take a dip!!

Excellent service. Very patient as we identified dates for the move and then very efficient on the day. Pick-up, drive 2.5hrs, drop-off all done by 1115 in the morning! Very polite delivery team (Simon and Scott).

Move your Spa were excellent. The booking process was easy, and they confirmed the day before that they were coming as booked and that we would be the final customer. The disposal of the hotrub was done quickly without any issues.

From start to finish it was a great experience, Harriet was very thorough getting all the details needed to deliver the spa to us ,kept us up to date with timescales, she was very polite to talk to on the phone ,awnsering any questions I had
