I had a great experience using company to move flat. Good communication in the lead up to moving date. Fast and professional service on the day. Would use again.

Two man removals were absolutely brilliant! Very professional service and the guys that helped us move were extremely friendly and efficient.

We had more possessions to move than was initially accounted for and they sorted out temporary last minute storage for a couple of hours at very minimal price.

I couldn’t recommend Two man removals enough! Brilliant service from start to finish!

These guys are good , reasonable price and work fast , Chris is a pleasure to deal with ,as we’re the other two guys John and Josh , would use them again and would recommend them to friends and family .

- showed up ten minutes late, no introductions then spent 15 mins assessing what needed to be moved. I’d already had a visit so not sure was this was necessary. Was told at this time they may not be able to move shed contents so would have to collect later.

- Unlike the website, the van they showed up in was non liveried and absolutely battered.

- after an hour of very slowly moving items I asked about the room in the van.

Now, before the chaos ensued, I had previously had a visit and quote where I was told one van would take most of my stuff if I could put some items into my car, which I agreed to. I was concerned about this so approximately a week before I questioned this again. The email wasn’t responded to. I was called a few days prior to my move by someone called Chris, who said it would ‘ probably’ be ok, ‘did you have a quote?’ Yes, I said. It was left at that.

Back to the hour in.. oh we can’t get it all in we’ll have to come back and get the rest…This was a mutual exchange. I was not in a position to spend all day moving as new tenant was due in within next two hours.

They had no other vans so decided to put my things into storage and collect the rest.

Chaos ensued.

A shortened version was:

- New tenant turned up and her removal company had to assist my removal company getting my sofa apart, etc, embarrassing, because they took so long.

- They walked mud all over carpets in my old property where the new tenant then complained to me about it.

- One of my removers stood around a lot chatting to me instead of moving things, being cynical and attempting to blame me for the issues.

- Both removers were dead on their feet by the time they’d finished, both exhausted and I’m not surprised.

Damaged goods:
- solid wood tv unit slightly scuffed
- shallow long scratch across front of fridge freezer
- 2 items of broken crockery
- cooker door on main oven fell off
- clothes aider legs buckled
- detergent drawer on washing machine damaged and will now not close properly

- 55in tv not covered when being moved despite pouring with rain. Explicit instructions not to leave anything electrical in outside open, unsecured shed yet I found a pressure washer in there a couple of hours later.

Another argument ensued after a remover told me I’d be charged extra for going over allotted time. Again, she stood there looking over my shoulder while I was trying to find evidence of quote without continuing to work despite still being within allotted time frame.

Eventually the boss of the removal team asked if I'm not charged any extra would I be happy? I agreed, not happy just wanted to get in the house, both my daughter and myself were unwell that day, it was awful. Took from 0810 until 1800 to move a minimalist 2 bed house.

To top it off they insisted on payment and loomed over me until I setup new internet and logged onto my bank. I was having difficulty due to being so stressed I ended up with migraine auras which causes flashes in my vision, I had to give my daughter all my bank details because I actually couldn’t see the screen at that time but it felt like they treated me as though I was attempting to get out of paying.

What an absolute mess. Stupidly I went by the reviews! No follow up or anything after as they really don’t care.

From the initial outreach to the 2 men helping me move, it was smooth and reliable. On the day, the guys arrived on time, were polite and friendly and encouraged me to sit and do nothing whilst they did everything. It made the moving experience so easy and gave me time to focus on other things.

The team showed up bright and early to make a plan and start taking apart our wardrobes, they were polite and so helpful. On the other side they quick and efficient with putting back together our wardrobes and unloading our house into the right rooms. We cannot fault them at all, communication was spot on from the point of getting a quote up until the left after the job was done.

Big shout out for Two Man Removals. Sam came out to quote when he said he would, he knew it was only days until our move and he still managed to fit us in. His team of Elliot and Steve moved all our belongings, boxes and furniture safely. They reassured us and gave us peace of mind even with our upstairs furniture around a difficult staircase. Their colleagues Mark and Brendan moving a customer in the same street even came to support our move of our garden pots. We have no hesitation to recommend them, what a helpful team!

Highly professional lads and cannot recommend them enough. Steve and Elliot moved our heavy furniture from a third floor flat with a broken lift. Did an efficient job and not once complained, just cracked on swiftly with getting it out of that flat and into our new property. They were also well kitted-out to minimise any damage to the furniture. Thank you, gents!

Can’t thank Brendan and Mark enough for all their help with our move (on the hottest day of the year no less!). Super professional at all times and helped with last minute bits that I wasn’t able to do myself. Absolutely amazing service and would use again. Thank you!

Mark and Brendan did a full house clearance of my mum‘s bungalow today. They were very efficient and caring and I would really recommend them to anybody. The job was complex, And involved taking furniture to my home as well as to charity shops and local tip, I would definitely recommend them to anybody

I moved on 28th Feb and after what started out as a normal morning moving me out, quickly went downhill. Brendan and Mark were absolutely amazing! The property owner of my purchase became very difficult and refused to handover the keys and move his belongings after completion. These two were a godsend. Nothing was too much trouble. Keeping me calm, constantly reassuring me it's was going to be ok and helping me solve a very sticky situation. Can't praise or thank them enough. Definitely recommend.

We moved with Two Man Removals on the 21st October 2024. During the move our sofa was damaged and a small hole was punctured in the top of the seat. The sofa was 3 months old at the time of the move and in immaculate condition. It cost me £2500. It is now 7th March 2025, despite several promises the sofa has not been repaired, or the section replaced and I have received no compensation for the damage. It is now 4.5 months later. The last communication I had from the company were empty promises on the 6th January 2025. This is not acceptable. There was also small damage to the doorframe in my brand new house, which is minor and therefore I have let pass. I have used the business on 4 previous occasions and found them to be helpful, but this is the first time I have had a problem and the aftercare is atrocious! I will now be pursuing a claim through the Small Claims Court. The cost of a replacement section for the sofa is £854.

I was badly let down by another removal company. Two Man Removals were able to move all our belongings to our new home at very short notice. They also cleared broken furniture etc from the old flat. Nothing was too much trouble. Chris and Tim were professional,friendly and did an excellent job on both the days I booked them for. The prices were very good value for money and I highly recommend this company.
