Bought a $110 print

UPDATE: while they responded in the comment below, when I reached out to them as they asked, they never responded. It was just to make it appear like they cared.

Bought a $110 print, they never even sent it to me for revision. They just made a portrait with a disproportionate head, and gave me no way to ask for a revision.

They never gave me a tracking number either. When I tried to reach them about this, they said their emails must have gone to my spam folder. When I told them it wasn't, I asked them to show me a copy of their email if they were telling the truth about sending one. They then told me that I unsubscribed from their marketing emails, so they didn't email me for my approval of the print.

They said I could have reviewed the revisions on their site. Where? How? There was no way to know, nothing in any of their previous emails. Never got that tracking number either.

When I asked for a revision or refund, they told me they could charge me $25 for a revision. There's a reason they have an F on the BBB.

The portrait is amazing! Truely looks like the people had it done by professionals!
Site is so easy to use, and the customer service is so patient and HELPFUL!

Bravo!!!

OMG, what an outstanding job on this picture. I really wanted this to be special for my friend she has been have medical trouble. I was afraid if the picture wasn't done well it would upset her.Your artist hit it out of the park, they actually matched the cowboy hat to the one she was wearing in the photo that she also wore on her wedding day!I am beyond happy, thank you very much!! I have brought a couple of your portraits for memorable occasions, I'm so happy one could be done for her!!!

Hurry up , don’t wait!

This is the third time that I have purchased portraits. I have been so impressed, and happy with the quality each and every time!!! They look so real, not posed. Your artists are incredible. Don’t wait, buy one for a gift, or for yourself. Well worth it, and then some!

The worst experience ever

This was the worst experience ever. Do not buy/try! The "art" came in for approval and looked awful! The results you see in the commercials are not typical I can tell you. When you reject the awful work and ask for a refund they then tell you only a 80% refund is possible because they already did "work". A middle schooler can do a better cut and paste photoshop job than this company. I highly recommend you stay away from this company.

disappointed

so the painting version was a lot different from the picture and digital, it is way more faded and you can not see the dog. I would like to do another one with a lighter background if possible and darker paint, I would pay something since it would be a re do, but it just isn't what I expected

Outstanding company with an amazing gift idea!

I had the Strong Couple made for an anniversary gift for my son! It was an extraordinary gift for them! Perfect match!
That started the orders for us. We had several made for family members and had a reveal party! Wow!! So much laughter and fun!!
The quality of these canvases is outstanding! Customer service was always available to answer questions. We highly recommend this company!! I will continue to use this company as an amazing gift idea!!

Not a 100% Satisfaction Guarantee - dishonest

Ordered a digital package for Valentine's Day. Got a confirmation email saying I would receive notice when a proof was ready within 1-2 business days. Got no notice, so 3 days later I asked and was told the proof was ready. The "proof" looked like something I could have done myself in Photoshop (and I'm not that good). Asked company for a refund based on their 100% satisfaction guarantee and was told that I hadn't requested it within 24 hours, so there would be a 20% deduction in my refund. How do you request a refund for dissatisfaction when you haven't gotten anything to be dissatisfied with?? Very slipshod organization and subpar work. STAY AWAY.

I had a fantastic experience with Turn…

I had a fantastic experience with Turn Me Royal. We worked together on my artwork and the outcome was beautiful. Communication is key. Turn me Royal get's 5 Stars for communication. The packaging couldn't have been better. They always worked with me on changes I wanted to make. When you upgrade with anything you have to realize there will be extra charges and rightfully so. I don't have one complaint which I can honestly make about Turn Me Royal. Communication is key and they definitely did communicate very well.

How did you do? You did horribly!!!

How did you do? Absolutely horribly! The picture you sent me to approve looked nothing like my sister in law. It looked like a 5 year old playing with a computer did it! A colleague suggested we use your company as gifts in my department this year and I showed them the results. We did not use Turn Me Royal. Then you only returned 80% of my money. I will continue to discourage people from using Turn Me Royal!!!

It *may* be good or you *may* end up with a mutant creature on canvas - pick wisely!

I initially ordered a small canvas as a gift, and that one was fine, although I had to repeat requested edits several times to get them actioned. But having been ultimately been pleased with the end result, I ordered a second larger, more expensive canvas.

Unfortunately my second experience was dreadful. The first draft was a freakish Frankenstein cobbled-together mess. I sent weeks and weeks sending messages back and forth, trying to get the picture edited to look less like a mutant human.

Obviously I understand that this is outsourced AI/photoshop level work, not Fine Art experts, but turnmeroyal were either incompetent or unwilling to make the edits I was asking for over and over again; along with the CS rep doing all she could to evade any discussion of refund.

I went from being a huge fan, actively telling friends and family to check them out, to now a very disappointed ex-customer who wants to warn other people that you may lose the will to live trying to get what you ask for.

EDIT: after reading the reply, I am bemused that they claim yet again they want customer satisfaction and to make things right - they had weeks and weeks to do just that and....didn't. Their over-effusive manner is a sham that sounds helpful but is actually anything but. It's a shame as I would have loved to buy several more as gifts.

wish i could give it zero

wish i could give it zero. purchased something for my husband for Christmas. they ONLY send you a file that you can't print yourself (i guess the $60 or so i spent i don't even own) ... the ads make it look like it's on canvas so you don't think about it. if you want a canvas copy, you need to pay an extra $40 or so. SUCH a scam...beware!

Amazing service!

Amazing service!

Left quite late to order as a birthday gift so when purchased, I opted for the expedited delivery.
Ordered the picture on Tuesday, approved the draft on Wednesday and it arrived Saturday!
Also customer services were really helpful and responded quickly to any questions I had.

Once you put your credit card number you’re done they will NEVER return your money back at all cost. You simply. DONATE YOUR MONEY. This company is a MONEY SUCKER. If it comes to you BLOCK them ASAP. The quality of the so-called artistic is a BIG LIE. It is simply like an animation copy and paste your face on it. Way UGLY than you think.

Bad service, bad product, still not received after 2 months

If I could give this a zero, I would. I ordered a family Viking portrait costing close to $200 for a birthday present. It took 8 revisions over a month and still looked overly fake and far too photoshopped. Skin had changed, makeup was put on, heads too big or too small - a bad cut and paste job. I spent a lot of time tooing and froing with the random service person. I even asked for a reduction in price because of the whole process and knowing it would not be here on time. Communication was sporadic and not within the 3 day timeframe. When I finally confirmed the portrait for printing and delivery I noticed after a few weeks, I hadn't received a tracking order as communicated by the website. I finally received a tracking number from TurnMeRoyal, which confirmed the parcel had not been picked up. Impossible to contact the Sendle delivery service (bots, no contact form or phone number) so I am still awaiting to hear back from Turnmeroyal and Sendle (had to send via a business customer) as to when I will be receiving my parcel. I was hoping to have it by 10 Jan but due to all the revisions and now the lack of courier service I still have not received it. Very disappointing
