I recently had issues with my business banking app and getting access to my accounts. It was locked down! I walked into my local branch, Oldbury. Then had an appointment at west bromwich where Bethany dealt with my issues, and resolved all for me. She spent literally hours on the phone with her colleagues, going through every angle to get this resolved. Very professional and friendly to deal with. I highly recommend the TSB for all banking needs. Thank you.

Judy, at TSB has been amazing to deal with. My step dad passed away recently and I have been doing a lot of stuff on my mum's behalf. Judy has made the process so easy and her communication is well above my expectations. Thank you Judy

Staff are generally curt and rude and take a long time to answer. Used to be a good bank, then I switched to Kiwibank as I was fed up with terrible service, and very little to offer small business customers.

Stella at TSB Bamber Bridge went over & above to help with an online payment transaction. She tried endlessly to resolve the issue covering every possibility. Excellent customer service.
Tracey at Bamber Bridge then helped by setting up new accounts explaining every aspect in great detail so that we were totally confident to proceed.
These two employees are an absolute credit to TSB.

Mobile app is a toy, lack of fingerprint login, only can view transactions nothing else can do, no statement download, etc.
Credit card payment period is less than 30 days. For example, payment due day is 15th but statement day is 20th then your purchase made on 19th will be included in next statement and need pay by 15th next month, that means you only can use credit up to 25 days.

Very happy with their customer service. TSB in Christchurch were very easy to deal with and made getting a mortgage feel easy (2 years ago). We found other banks made the process over complicated so swapped to TSB and haven’t looked back. Would definitely recommend. Also very glad they have added TSB paywave to apple now!

Appalling customer service. I have tried 3 times to get them to correct an error they have made and they keep ignoring me. I am changing banks. Do not use TSB. Useless bunch of incompetents.

Their credit cards are just useless. Took me three attempts online to actually get approved. The first three attempts I found out they put against my credit history as declined so my credit rating dropped massively. When I did get a credit card with them it worked in NZ well but as soon as I started booking things overseas for an upcoming holiday it started declining the bookings without warning me. Thought I’d booked a hotel but when the payment went to be processed TSB cards declined it. As they said it was fraudulent. It was with a ve try reputable international hotel group Lost my hotel rate and spent 2 hours on phone to hotel trying to get it reinstated. When TSB said I could use my card and they’d let the payment go through it then didn’t. Used my westpac card. No problem. When you call TSB you’ll never get through to anyone. You get them to call you back. Patchy if they do call you back. If they do it’ll be 1 - 2 days. They often say they’ll sort the problem and get back to you ASAP but hardly ever do. Stay away from their credit cards. They have now dropped the cash back reward so now no better than any other card. I’ve now cancelled my card and gone back to Westpac.

Have been a customer for over 40 years never missed a repayment or had a dishonested cheque etc
Had overdraft reduced by 15000 no correspondence before hand an when i rung an asked what was going on i was told i shouldve remembered what happened over a year ago. Finally got a apology and reinstated with 7500 paid off in april and another 7500 in may > So start of may rung and asked for the next 7500 to be extended to next year got a flat no. The loan guy in NP got no idea of what i dont or have done for the year you just a number an that about it.

Fantastic customer service at the Christchurch branch - just a pleasure to deal with.

A small town bank with a small town mindset. Seriously, do yourself a favour and choose another bank that actually respects existing customers and understands how to keep them.

Terrible bank, run while you can, being waiting weeks to close my fathers bank account who passed, just full of excuses, they should be kicked out of NZ

Misleading online advertisements. Untrustworthy and do not even know what information they put online for the consumer before making an online order. They are not to be trusted. Adding extra hidden delivery costs after you have paid online. Lack of transparency and customer service is lacking. They have the same script which is communicated to every customer that complains.

I've never seen a such a rude customer service they just stopped responding me in process. I won't use any of their service anymore.

Customer service is crap at call center since they closed the branch. Get no help any more. I moved to this bank as other banks closed their branch down. Worse thing they ever did is close TSB here.

I tried this bank for a while but just gave up on them, bad services and bad customer service

I was able to get their TSB Platinum Mastercard, & compared to others, I am so happy with my move to TSB. Best decision I ever made. 5 Stars all the way. Annual Fee is on point & their CC has so many extra features, as well.
