I have been regularly sending emails re the 5 day yoga/trek Peru saltankay trek for 6 mths, even paid the full amount 2 plus mths prior to departure. The messages all seemed to get sent to an agent or different person, the communication was very inconsistent, questions not answered properly. I did not feel particularly confident having a place on the tour group and since I’m doing this trip solo I really needed reassurance and certainty. This week I learn (3weeks out from my tour start date) I’m told there is no longer a tour available for me. I’m now struggling to find another one to suit my flight and itinerary which has of course been organised for over 6 mths. So disappointed as I really wanted to combine my love of yoga, spirituality and hiking, and the tour seemed perfect for me. I feel very Let down by bad organisation snd communication

Warning to anyone considering to book a retreat through the website "Bookyogaretreats" which is owned by Tripaneer> Firstly, do not trust the Reviews that you see in the list of reviews written on each retreat's listing page on Bookyogaretreat. This is because they ONLY publish the positive ones - i.e. those with 5,4 or rarely you'll see the 3 stars ones. You will not see the negative reviews that have 1 or 2 stars. I can report this because between April and May 2024 I booked 2 different mini retreats through their website> one in Corfu' island which was positive and they did publish the review I wrote on the listing's page straight away but the second one in Fuerteventura island, which was negative, was cheekily NOT published on the listing's page of "Gracy's Surf Yoga Villa Fuerteventura". I overall gave Gracy's surf yoga villa 1 star because their customer service was very bad but surprisingly they did not publish my review in their booking page! If anyone reads on their listing titled "6 Day Yoga Package All Inclusive, The Vegan Yoga Retreat in Fuerteventura" you will only see the positive reviews 20 days after I submittedmy written review! Hence, I will not trust to book through that website anymore and it's only ethical to warn other people to know their review system is manipulated! In brief, the host of "Gracy's surf yoga villa" owed me a €128 refund due to an admin mistake made at the time of the booking and they had me waiting for 17 days sending me no communication at all about when my refund would be made and they even tried to come up with a provable false excuse to not give me that refund. In all this experience that made me waste my time to send 6 or 7 chase-up messages to both companies, no one at the customer service team of Tripaneer's "Book yoga retreats" was able to help> they kept sending only pointless messages passing the ball from one person to another wasting my time. Really bad customer service system from both companies overall!

As someone who values holistic wellness and has participated in various retreats, I recently had the opportunity to experience a retreat with book Yoga Retreat Compan. While the experience had its highlights, there were notable areas for improvement that I believe could enhance the overall experience for future participants.
Firstly, I must acknowledge the positive aspects of the retreat, including the quality of the yoga sessions and the massage, both of which provided moments of relaxation and rejuvenation. However, these positives were overshadowed by several concerns that detracted from the retreat's effectiveness as a holistic wellness experience.
One of the main drawbacks was the lack of a retreat-like atmosphere. Despite being marketed as a retreat, the experience felt more akin to staying in a hotel offering yoga sessions. There was a noticeable absence of community and camaraderie, which are essential elements of a fulfilling retreat experience. Additionally, the food offerings were disappointing, with very standard and predictable options that did not align with the nourishing and holistic aspect that is often associated with retreat cuisine.
Furthermore, the scheduling of the yoga sessions immediately after breakfast deviated from the typical structure of yoga retreats. Traditionally, yoga sessions are held in the morning before breakfast to facilitate a more focused and energizing practice. While the organizer attempted to accommodate guest preferences by adjusting the timing, it did not fully address the disconnect from the retreat experience I had envisioned.
In response to my feedback, the company demonstrated a lack of flexibility in addressing concerns and providing resolutions. Despite acknowledging the feedback, there was no offer of compensation or concrete plan for improvement, which was disappointing given the significant discrepancies between the advertised experience and the actual experience.
Reflecting on my experience and considering the concerning reviews of the company's customer service and cancellation policy, I believe there is room for improvement in several areas. Firstly, enhancing the retreat atmosphere by fostering a sense of community through group activities, workshops, and communal dining experiences could greatly enrich the participant experience. Additionally, diversifying and elevating the food offerings to align with the holistic wellness aspect of the retreat would contribute to a more nourishing and satisfying experience for guests.
Moreover, greater flexibility and responsiveness in addressing customer concerns, including a more lenient cancellation policy and willingness to offer compensation or alternative resolutions when necessary, are crucial for building trust and loyalty among participants.
In conclusion, while there were aspects of the retreat that showed promise, there are significant opportunities for improvement that, if addressed, could elevate the overall experience and position book Yoga Retreat Company as a leader in providing truly transformative and holistic wellness experiences.

J'ai réservé via BookYogaRetreats.com (même groupe que BookYogaTeacherTraining.com et Tripaneer.com) une formation de 21 jours de professeur de yoga. La formation a été annulée moins de 2 mois avant son début, ma réservation avait été validée et j'avais acheté mes billets d'avion. Tripaneer refuse tout dédommagement.

a platform that promises you to support your trip but doesnt! process takes forever and for me, I ended up deleting before publishing because their business model is nothing but a rip off!
rather than being an additional platform to offer your services they tell you how to set your prices! and as any small business owner knows, a couple hundred can make aall the difference!

I found a yoga retreat on Google that looked perfect, the booking also popped up for me to search on tripaneer with a deposit option. After trying to process my payment with a “declined” message I contacted my bank. My national bank alerted me that this company is know for suspicious activity, hence why they declined my transaction. Phew, I was almost out $800.

J'ai réservé pour un stage de yoga à Cracovie pour la période du 7 au 11 juillet. J'ai payé 70€ pour la réservation. J'au reçu une confirmation de ma réservation mais avec des dates différentes, ces dernières au mois d'août. Mon billet d'avion étant déjà acheté et mes vacances déjà programmées, je ne peux pas accepter cette nouvelle proposition. J'ai donc demandé le remboursement de la réservation à l'organisateur du stage. Tripaneer ne me propose pas un remboursement mais un crédit m'obligeant à acheter un nouveau séjour chez eux. C'est scandaleux et malhonnête.

I would like to give them two stars, because I have used this company twice and on the first occasion everything went very well and the yoga holiday suppased expectations.
So, I didn't hesitate to use them again but sadly this time the experience was totally different.
The 'Ayurvedic retreat' was a one man band ( no team,as advertised) who tried unsuccessfully to do everything from airport transfers to massage, teaching to guiding. The accommodation / retreat centre was damp, cold, out of season holiday home totally unsuitable for the declared purpose.
Most guests were checking out after a few days as did I.
I fed back to tripaneer about the experience, and expected a refund, given the problems I encountered...
... I have been offered a voucher which seems to be there standard way of dealing with problems. I'm not likely to try to take it up, so they've gained financially on the deal and the dodgy retreats will continue to flourish.
Potentially, this could be a great portal, but it doesn't seem to be interested in vetting the organisers of trips, or straightening out their refund policy sadly.

We booked a spa holiday through Tripaneer to Budva Montenegro but when we arrived the spa that was advertised and we paid a lot of money to stay at did not exist. They picked us up and drove us to a terrible 2*hotel with no amenities. 100% different from what was advertised. We contacted Tripaneer immediately for assistance but did not get any help. They replied to say sorry for the inconvenience, we are discussing how to help you but it is the weekend so it will take time. We ended up having to find alternative accommodations and pay top dollar as it was a last minute booking. They finally came back to us 4 days later and said they would give us a store credit to use towards another spa holiday which is ridiculous as I would never book through this site again. I am pretty sure this is a fake site and most of the spas are fake or not how they present on line. They do not vett the reviews, infact they probably provide the fake reviews to help sell the spas. Reading reviews about this company I see many people have been scammed and had a very difficult time getting their money back.

I have booked 5 day retreat in Gran Canaria but unfortunately the organiser had stopped answering so no retreats took a place. It was a bit stressful but luckily Tripaneer had refunded my over £715 deposit.
At first they tried to give my deposit in a form of “store credit” but I have explained that such store credit will never be used by me and that I need a real money to cover similar retreats elswhere. I had to remove one star because it took me few emails and extra time to explaint that I really do not want offered “store credit voucher”. I’m still happy that I got my money back because if I’d pay directly to retreat organiser I’d propably would lost it as they’ve simply stop answering to my messages. My advice to others is to always pay by credit card if possible.

Company is set up to collect your deposit. Don't bother they're a waste of time and not worth the hassle. I was approved a refund of my deposit by the event organiser, the company straight up refused despite me sending proof.

I will never again trust this company. Their 3 day "Horse back riding/Wine Tasting weekend was a joke. No transparency in terms of how difficult and separated the Horse riding/Wine tasting (which I ended up not going to as a result) and the Hotel were all at different Locations that cost a fortune to get to via Taxi. (No trains for buses nearby existed). Expecting people to book a car and drive in a country where one does not speak the language is only advised AFTER they have your deposit. A complete $$$$ waste. Worst experience I have had in over 40 years of travelling around the world. DON'T USE THIS TOUR

I booked a yoga retreat and it was cancelled. Tripaneer tried to get me to take a credit but I asked for a refund.
They reimbursed my deposit within 2 weeks.

Wouldn't go through those guys ever again. Had to cancel my trip due to the war in Ukraine but for tripaneer war in your country is not a good enough reason to ask for a refund. Michele (customer service associate) is an absolute disappointment. This company doesn't care about their clients, seems they are just looking for a one-time payment and there is no strategy for building long-term relations with potential customers. I would strongly recommend you look for alternatives, as Tripaneer is not a good provider, even tho the website is organized and the user experience up until you actually face any issues is pretty well.

ABSOLUTE SCAM
I had a $495 voucher for this website as my surf camp was cancelled due to COVID19. When I wanted to book a new camp they replied straight away saying the requested dates were not available. A few days before the voucher expired I wanted to book a new camp and got an email back that the requested dates were available. I was really excited and wanted to confirm the booking right away. Unfortunately the voucher did not appear on the payment page on their website and the only option to confirm the booking was to fill out my credit card details again. Which thank god I didn't do. I sent out an email to ask for instructions. They replied a few hours later saying the voucher should appear on the payment page. I send out 2 more emails to ask for help. This was 2 days before the expiry date. They never replied to me again. I then send them a very direct email telling them that I feel like being scammed. Never got a reply and my voucher expired and disappeared from my account on their website. I'm going to report this website. I wish I read the other reviews about this website before making the booking.

My reservation for accommodations at Art of Living Retreat Center in Boone NC was not honored. (Oct. 2021) The room had been given to someone else. I had to get a motel room off site to attend the retreat. I requested a monetary reimbursement, and was told by AOL staff I would be reimbursed with store credit thru Tripaneer instead. Several weeks later after continual requests, I was fully reimbursed with store credit and credit card reimbursement.
Customer service was polite, but the prolonged attempts to achieve a fair reimbursement negated the retreat experience.

Attempted to book trip which was canceled and no refund provided. Attempted to book second trip but rec'd no support and was unable to apply credits for previously canceled service. No actual "service" provided aside from delaying our ability to book trips and holding our credit card balance.

No faith in this company. Told I would have store credit after holiday cancelled . I booked a festival that could be paid with SC. Then told SC not available because the holiday was rescheduled and everyone was pencilled in for this. I was not asked about this and never agreed. I do not have funds for this so will not be going. I am being refused the SC.
