If you are thinking of buy this food look at all of the complaints on the Better Business Bureau website and save your money. I had a terrible experience canceling my subscription after finding out the food was disgusting.

Sadly, the quality went downhill

I think compared to last year, their food quality has really gone down badly.
I used to get decent meals and now it’s just a little bit of protein with lots of sweet potato.

I just cancelled mine and I’m going through my last 7 meals and it’s basically torture.

I don’t even know how they make eggs have the same texture as eating a rubbery net, I guess that’s a skill in itself.

I will say that at least the customer service was easy to communicate with even if it’s only via email. That’s why I’m adding another star.

TAKE YOUR MONEY-LOOKS HORRIBLE. DON'T expect the product to look anything like the pictures. You will receive a package of mush smashed food that looks similar to some of the wet dog food i buy. If you can get past the look, some of them tasted ok. TAKE YOUR MONEY, this is a major problem. They hide on the checkout page in fine print that they will be billing you not monthly, but weekly. I ordered enough to give a try with no intent of a continuous order until I knew if I liked it. After the first couple that was obvious I wouldn't be ordering again and Chaulk the loss up to education. Here is where the HIDE the tricky cost. Upon check out of the first order it tried to auto bill me weekly. I made sure the clear the cart and save. Oh but that doesn't work as the product showed up and they of course billed me anyway. Upon contacting them the attitude said I was not the only that had complained about this. I strongly requested a refund to no avail. THEY GOT ME and THEY WILL GET YOU. DO NOT USE THIS BRAND. I was able to cancel future orders after they took me for the second one. BAD BUSINESS.

We understand that taste is subjective, and we regret that our meals were not to your liking. Vacuum sealing the meals does change the presentation, but we prioritize food safety above all.

Sorry for any confusion on our part. We are a weekly meal delivery subscription. Once you have selected your meal/items, your account will default to a weekly schedule. You can cancel at any time by contacting support over the phone, email, or live chat. Just the last day to cancel is the Friday before the delivery per our cutoff.

Please be on the lookout for an email from us, as we want to connect with you directly to discuss the matter further and work towards a positive resolution.

Delivered on Wednesday

Delivered on Wednesday. Tried 2 meals for lunch and dinner on Thursday, my children also tried an additional 2. Food was unbalanced. Sprinkled with uncooked sliced almonds that did not pair well with “creole chicken”. Every meal sprinkled with nuts and terrible. 2nd meal meal made me gag. By Thursday night I was already charged $230 for the following delivery that I did not approve nor want. Customer service was snarky and unhelpful. 3rd meal was spoiled and disgusting! All the food was awful!

HORRIBLE customer service

Never even got to try the food but the customer service is awful. I had a delivery scheduled for this Friday (its Monday) and had some unfortunate circumstances come up that made me have to take an emergency trip and wont be in town to receive the delivery. I call customer support for assistance and was told because I didn't call a WEEK in advance there is nothing they can do and my package will be delivered anyway. That is a HORRIBLE way to do business and wont be getting any from me as I look to one of there competitors for a better experience. Judging by the many bad reviews on the poor taste and quality of the food it looks like I made the right choice by canceling the subscription all together. I would avoid this company and wont be recommending it to anyone.

Never had such Horrible meals

We have never had such Horrible meals delivered from any company! Taste and texture disgusting. It’s like they put tons of cauliflower and sweet potatoes and various ingredients in a giant hopper then scoop out portions for the meal. We are on Whole30–cooking at home is much better! Even tho we were hungry, just couldn’t eat the stuff from Trifecta, even with salt and seasoning and/or salsa or hot sauce. Can’t believe how duped we feel!

TOTAL FRAUD.

I had high hopes but what they are delivering is truly pathetic. Their website claims organic and healthy. Besides the fact all the meals are like a pail of slop the ingredients are highly processed non-organic. Total fraud in my opinion.

Trifecta was a huge disappointment

Trifecta was a huge disappointment. Firstly, its expensive. Secondly, it is tasteless. If I were to blindly take a bite I truthfully couldn't depict one meal from another. Lastly, I wound up feeding all ten meals to my dog (he seemed to enjoy lol). I hope if you're considering Trifecta that you don't take these reviews with a grain of salt. They are accurate. Most expensive dog food on the planet!

Received wrong items

Received my order and it was not correct. The items sent did not come close to the value of what I purchased. For example received hamburger instead of steak that I ordered and paid for. Received cod instead of the salmon that I ordered and paid for. Shrimp came in a bag that leaked all over all items. Received no compensation for the difference and no response to emails.

Horrible experience

Horrible experience. By far the worst prep meal company I’ve tried. The food is below average in regards to taste and repetitive options. I don’t like the packaging and the customer service is horrible. I tried to cancel before the cut off date and I was told it wasn’t received on their end. So I’m forced to suffer through another box :-(

Beyond DISAPPOINTED

I am beyond disappointed with the service of this company. For the 4th week I am missing not one not two but five items from my subscription and it’s unacceptable. I have not received any type of empathy or compensation for lack of service and inconvenience. I am unable to prepare myself for the week because of this careless production. I will be canceling my membership indefinitely and I hope you use this as an example to do better.

Horrible experience

Horrible experience. I had used them in the past and the food was decent, just repetitive. I restarted with them and the food came in new flimsy packaging. It tasted horrible and started rotting in the fridge after the first few days. I reached out to customer service and they stated that their kitchen is waiting on a new vacuum sealer and that things should improve in about a month. They offered to refund my week and defer my subscription until the next month. I asked to have my upcoming week canceled as well, it autorenewed the day after I received the initial food order and didn't get to cancel it within such a narrow window of time. They refused to cancel the order. I received a full weeks worth of inedible food. I reached out to customer service asking them for a refund and they declined, they just canceled my subscription. Long story short, I paid over $200 for 14 meals and I never ate a single one. I tried several and they were awful. The others started to rot within a few days. My fridge still stinks from the meals and needs to be deep cleaned. Avoid at all costs!

We sincerely apologize for your negative experience and we appreciate your honest feedback. We went through a big transition of opening new facilities in late 2022 and we were awaiting the vacuum sealer machinery at the time. This has been resolved and then some. Customers are now able to pick the meals with any of our Meal Plan options.

The cancellation process has remained the same since the first time you gave us a chance. We are a weekly meal delivery subscription. Once you have selected your meal/items, your account will default to a weekly schedule. We provide a ‘skip weeks’ feature for weekly subscribers right on the account dashboard.

If a customer would like to have extra time before another order renews, just login and skip out the following week or two. The last day to skip/cancel an order is the Friday before the delivery. Once we're past our Friday cutoff it is not possible to cancel/update orders processed for the coming week. In dealing with perishable goods, we have strict cutoffs to allow us to properly forecast and successfully fulfill orders nationwide without delay.

Food taste like indian food

Food taste like indian food. You can't cancel your subscription online can only put it on a 4 week hold before it kicks in again. If you do cancel they still ship you another box. Food is just awful. It is all mixed together and stinks up the office when you heat it up.

the most disgusting food I’ve ever eaten

This food is absolutely disgusting and came leaking and brown twice in two different shipments. It looks like prison food at best dog food at worst. I tried to cancel several times and no one would respond to me. I was charged 200 dollars for food that went rancid in 3 days and stunk up my fridge for a month. DO NOT BUY THIS!

Beware

Beware. Trifecta Nutrition not only has 36 BBB complaints they also have a public lawsuit against them.

They sham new clients into believing there's a money back guarantee when in fact they are charging them twice. This happened to me. The reason is because the 1st delivery arrives on Saturday, but in order to cancel the subscription, the client would have had to cancel their subscription the day prior to their first taste test. Their food isn't edible but don't take my word for it, read the lawsuit and check out the warning/reviews on BBB. I regret not looking into them prior to signing up.

No delivery, no notice…

Have no idea what the food is like because it was never delivered. We signed up on October 8th for 1st delivery schedule on 10/21. Our credit card was charged. Patiently waited, looking forward to having these healthy, apportioned, meals on hand. At 5:48pm on 10/21, got an email that our order was cancelled because they couldn’t fulfill it. We understand that there are supply issues, but they knew well in advance of the deliver date that they would not be able to fulfill the order, but they held onto our money and waited until the date it was supposed to be delivered to inform us. Totally unethical.
