Traveldifferently listened to our requirements for a three week trip to Chile. They tailored the itinerary expertly and we approved the programme after the second or third draft with only minor changes.
Weather related problem during the trip were handled quickly with prompt liaison with local Chilean agent.

We had a superb holiday Ecuador and Galapagos that Travel Differently arranged for us. The company did a great job adjusting the trip to accommodate our wishes and needs. They also were proactive in communicating when things needs to change due to the political unrest in Guayaquil.

We were lucky to have travelled to Chile for just over three weeks taking in the Atacama desert, the Lake District, Patagonia, Easter Island and Santiago. Sam did us proud in matching what we like (whilst avoiding what we are ambivalent about) perfectly.

Three weeks in time for many is a luxury. But with Chile it flew by. The contrasts in landscapes is staggering. The food is excellent; the country is clean and the service is superb.

The app that we were given (that showed the day-by-day itiniery and flights) was really useful.

Each time we expected to be picked up, we were. All the tours (either private or group) were spot on and we appreciated the way that Sam tailored these tours so that if there was benefit of having a prviate tour we did so; and equally where group tours were viable without lessening the enjoyment, he arranged these so that our money went further.

There were also two things that I feel the need to highlight.

Firstly when we were in Chile, there were some devasting bush fires that prevented us being able to go to Valparaiso. Sam (along with the Chilean agents) were proactive in re-arranging the two nights we were supposed to go to this coastal city. Instead they diverted us to a beautiful hotel in the Maipo Valley wine region. Instead of this potentially being a disappointment from what we had planned, they turned it into a really lovely couple of days.

Secondly, a couple of months before we were due to go to Chile and pay the final instalment for the holiday, a close family member became seriously ill. Sam was incredible when we told him and he agreed to postpone our trip for a year. Then as the relative responded better than expected to treatment and we realised that it might be possible to go after all, Sam quickly resurrected the trip at short notice with only a couple of tweaks.

Our experience of Sam (and of their Chilean agent: Travelart) could not have been any better. We are so thankful.

Five stars simply do not seem sufficient to convey our satisfaction with this remarkable experience.

Sam arranged the holiday of a lifetime for us to Chile and Antarctica during Dec 2023. Everything was arranged with great attention to detail and when BA unhelpfully delayed our flights by 24 hours it was simply great just to email Sam who sorted everything out for us. He is absolutely professional, knowledgeable and friendly and had the knack of knowing just what would be right for us. I have recommended Travel Differently to several friends because I believe the company, and Sam particularly, are without equal. As a solo traveler, I felt extremely safe. The guides were great and super knowledgeable. I learned a lot about the history and the natural, cultural and gastronomic diversities. The drivers were always friendly and got me to where I needed to be on time.

We just returned from an amazing 2 weeks in Brazil and Argentina arranged by Sam and Sinead. All of their recommendations were spot on, from hidden beaches in Ilha Grande, some of the best I've seen, to vibrant nightlife in Buenos Aires. Their advice and knowledge about little things like currency (which is very important in Argentina) were invaluable. Wonderful trip, I'd highly recommend anyone planning a Latin adventure to get in touch.

We enjoyed a truly exceptional trip with superb guides, excellent arrangements and thoughtful input to the itinerary from Sam Gough at Travel Differently. We truly loved his hotel selection especially the Inkaterra in the Sacred Valley. It offers a 5 star rustic charm and elegance, that meets contemporary in the most stunning position! Galapagos with Rafael Pesantus on Infinity yacht was more amazing than I could ever have imagined and climbing the short Inca Trail to Machu Picchu with the guide Patricia was awe inspiring. Sam found us an excellent deal that gave the best possible experience in the Galapagos aboard a beautiful boat with excellent crew and knowledgable naturalist. Sam prepared us with all we needed to know before we left and organised all the details from when we landed ~ everything went seamlessly. A truly unforgettable adventure!

From when we landed in Quito through our flight back home, a Guide was there to assist us. Travel Differently booked our flights to & from the Galapagos so it was a breeze at the airports.
Our 8 day Anahi cruise at the Galapagos was wonderful. The Captain, Crew & Naturalist Guide were awesome. Food? Excellent. The natural wonders of the Galapagos were majestic through snorkeling & hikes. It truly was a memorable adventure.

Sam helped my partner and I book a relatively last-minute trip to Ecuador and the Galapagos. He listened to what we were after and thoughtfully planned the most fantastic itinerary imaginable, which covered everything we wanted to see and also made a few dreams come true (our trip to the Galapagos - he managed to source us a last minute discounted rate for a luxury cruise).

A few weeks before our trip, protests in Ecuador caused UK government advice to change to "Do Not Travel". Sam was completely professional, reassuring and calm in advising us - he spoke to me via phone nearly every day (even over the weekend) to give me an update on the latest status of protests in the country and to share with me back-up itinerary he had lined up for the trip so we could still go on holiday. Thankfully the protests subsided and the government advice changed and we were able to go on the holiday of a lifetime - all thanks to Sam.

The itinerary he planned for us was absolutely 100% perfect - we loved the guides, transports and accommodations he arranged for us. Sani Lodge in the Amazon was a particular highlight and we loved that it was owned and run by the local indigenous community. Our itinerary was packed with activities and everything was seamless - the local agency Travel Differently work with in Ecuador were kind and helpful too when we wanted to move things around.

Overall I can confidently say that my partner and I had the absolute holiday of a lifetime and it was due, in no small part, thanks to Sam and the Travel Differently team. I wholeheartedly recommend Travel Differently's services, for their extensive knowledge on the most amazing services and their brilliant organisation skills. Sam helped our family of five plan the ideal trip to Ecuador and the Galapagos. With children ages 7, 12 and 14, we wanted to be sure everyone would be able to enjoy every part of the trip, and Sam spent many phone calls with us fine-tuning everything until we felt we had the perfect fit.

We happened to arrive in Ecuador during a brief period of national unrest. Sam and his team in the country quickly rearranged the order of our trip to ensure we were safe while allowing us to experience all the highlights we had planned for. If we had tried to plan the trip ourselves, we would have been on the next plane home and missed the trip of a lifetime. Our trip started with a conversation with Sam. He listened carefully to our requirements making suggestions as we went along.
