Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback.
We understand that you took your well-used Tracer battery to a third party for testing, and they advised that the battery itself appeared to be functional and that the issue may instead relate to the charger, as they were able to charge the battery.
You also explained to our team that you chose not to proceed with payment for the third-party service, as no repair work was carried out and only an opinion was provided regarding the charger.
Based on the information available, our technical team believe the third party may have used a desktop power supply unit to force-charge the battery. In some cases, this process can potentially damage the battery or trigger built-in safety protections, which may then prevent the charger from operating as intended.
To investigate this further and assess any possible warranty support, our team requested additional information about the battery. Unfortunately, this information was not provided, which limited our ability to assist further.
While we do not offer a free returns service, we are happy to issue a refund for the charger once it has been returned to us for inspection.
