A fantastic trip to Iceland. Our time there was so well organised, giving special thanks to our guide AJ , who was just brilliant. AJ made our trip so enjoyable and memorable. He was informative, patient, friendly and a great time keeper. He worked so well with our own organiser Dani and this allowed us, to have a very very special trip to Iceland. Thank you . Trish.

Such an incredible experience. So much to see and do in such a unique country. There was a perfect balance between yoga and the daily tours. Our guide was very knowledgeable and worked in tandem with our yoga instructor / group leader. Our bus tours didn’t seem long at all with so many stops along the way, and every new experience seemed to trump the previous one. Highlight for me was the hike up the Reykjadalur Valley to bathe in the hot river, truly breathtaking! I would highly recommend the holiday.

Pedro answered all questions very well so none of us were confused about what we were doing, made our trip very easy! Devon was absolutely fantastic, she was very engaging and made us all feel very welcome and had things scheduled out perfectly.

Overall had a great experience! The planning process was pretty seamless and TH helped us craft an itinerary we liked. During the trip, there were a few moments of miscommunication between us, TourHero, the local travel agency, and the ultimate local operator but TourHero overall was quite responsive. The local travel agency and tour operators were high quailty.

Loved tour guide David, private chef Daiva and Marius planning ! Tents were set up perfectly and were waterproof and wind proof with warm sleeping bags and comfortable air mattresses.

Feedback I have about tour hero is maybe send a lot of the packing info and updates you sent in the WhatsApp earlier than you did.

I liked there were so many activities to choose from but I felt rushed and was disappointed by the lack of breaks.

The communication between Tourhero and the people coming on this retreat was great. I am sure you worked hard behind the scenes to make the experience amazing for all of us.

Planning my retreat was nearly stress free with TourHero. They handled the major details like organizing the group’s communication and airport transfers. I will definitely travel with them in the future!

I had a great experience booking this trip. Everything was so easy and I didn’t have to worry about anything.

A trip with 140 people is inevitably going to be so much worse than something with fewer people. With 140 people you have to go with buffets and low-quality pre-fix menus. You have a wait a ton. The tours we were taken on are diluted to the bare minimum - i.e., a walk through a place that I could have financed for the trip of an Uber, $4 not $35. The Amazon experience had the potential to be cool but in groups of 25 people walking through the Amazon feels like a field trip, not an experience.

It was clear on this trip that TourHero was looking to pump up profits while giving us the bare bones, inauthentic Brazilian experience. I will not be going on a TourHero trip again, as anyone who has traveled some amount before knows this is not what you look for when visiting a new country. A worse experience at a higher cost.

Tour guides for Sao Paulo were really bad - very little communication, and bus timings were way off, resulting in too much waiting. For example, we waited for 1 hour for the 2nd city market tour bus, and when we boarded they told us it would be a 1 hour drive to the market, then the bus would leave in 15-30 mins for the lunch spots. This was too much waiting and too little time at the attraction. In addition, when we arrived at the city market, there was no guided tour at all - we were left to wander on our own. This made us question why we needed the tour at all - taking an uber would have been faster and more effective.

I would also add that the group size of 130 people is too large. Inevitably, people would be late and there would be more waiting time. Also, the types of restaurants are more limited. I would suggest that Tour Hero caps the total group size, or stagger the itineraries for each bus, such that each bus rotates and travels to a different location at different times. This would create a more manageable group experience for all.

The best tour agency was Manaus, where they were great at communicating, sharing about the city and Amazon - I'm giving two stars because of this.

Tourhero has been okay on previous trips that I have been on with them. I was extremely disappointed with this tour, because I was stonewalled on funding I was promised was reimbursed. Currently, I am still owed $USD44 and have been told multiple times Tourhero will not give me my money that I was promised would be reimbursed. Moreover, I paid for an all-inclusive experience and was left out to dry when I booked an airport that was not communicated that transportation would not be given for. Then, there was again no refund for the amount paid for airport transfers that I was not allowed to use by Tourhero.

If I am being charged for an all-inclusive experience, I expect that to be the case when I arrive on the tour. Vey disappointing and stressful experience.

Amazing experience! Tour Hero proposed activities that I hadn’t considered and ended up being some of the favorites of the group. Also, details throughout the trip elevated the experience, making me want to always travel this way! I could relax knowing things where taken care of and if anything came up they would quickly solve it.

Was well taken care of so I’m happy.

Cram-packed itinerary: a great way to see a lot of Japan. We were treated well, fed great food, and taught a lot about the country. Wish the tour had skipped skipped Nagoya and included a full day in Tokyo instead.

The TourHero team did an incredible job of planning a packed trip for our group. I can't speak highly enough of the local guides who joined us in each city to teach us about the history and local landmarks. The whole trip was extremely well organized between different modes of transportation and I don't think we were late once. What an amazing way to see a country for the first time, with local guides and travel plans taken care of.
