The quality of this build is not good. Alot if frayed edges especially around the window. Luckily my son had the equipment to smooth it off. The shed I ordered was 8 x5 with the door and window at the front.However the window panel was too small to fit against the door pane so we had to fit it on the left side of shed. I thought the quality would of been better after spending £764. My son had to use his own screws to make panels fit securely together. Not sure why they advise to paint straight after building it shouldn't they have done it!

Very pleased with my 8x10 composite shed. The two guy team of Chris and Vinny were wonderful and so hard working. Wouldn't hesitate to use Total Sheds again.

The build quality isn't good. T&g not push together fully. Panels don't match up. Time will tell if water tight.

Long-Term Review

A real disappointment. When you spend over £1,500 on a shed, you expect it to last, but this has been a constant headache. Within just two years, I’ve already had to replace the roof felt due to leaks. Worse still, I am now forced to completely replace the cladding on one side and partially replace it on another.

I followed the build instructions to the letter and treated the wood with a high-quality protective coat immediately. Despite this, the cladding has shrunk significantly, leaving wide gaps that expose the inside to the elements.

Save your money—the build quality simply doesn't justify the price tag.

Called for a quote and advise on dog kennel
Advised everything i required and the item was delivered within 4 days
Easy to put up and now set for when ever the dog needs to be put aside when visitors are around

Poor quality products not delivered on time. These sheds are definitely not worth the money, cheap quality wood and very poor construction. I would advise you look elsewhere and don’t waste your money.

Avoid, you are reading this you have be warned. Appaling I would never buy a shed from here again, shed arrived then roof arrived 3 days later, contacted customer service not interested at all, shed quality is extremely poor too, please look elsewhere, you will regret buying from here, family owned? I bet there Christmas dinners are fun

Beware NOMINAL size. Upgraded to heavy duty 24mm from 16mm for £700+. What we got was the standard 16mm. Complained and the response was "we purchase wood at a NOMINAL thickness and plane it down to required thickness you got what you ordered" so given that I assume if you ordered a 16mm tongue and groove you would end up with a 10mm/12mm. The same goes for the thickness of the floor. You couldn't make it up, absolute rip off. Website thickness advertised is at best misleading at worst just a rip off. Trading standards where are you?? Would not touch this company again with a barge pole nor recommend it to my worst enemy.

Do Not use this company. The order and delivery process were OK but that’s were it ended. There was damage to the shed with gouges on the composite panels, splits in the posts, mismatched colours on the front panels, poor quality finishing with joints not aligned etc, extremely flimsy roof and overall atrocious quality. Also, as this was a new model when we went to assemble the shed I was told that there were no instructions. I am now over £500 out of pocket as they only agreed to contribute £150 towards the dismantling fees. Why should I be out of pocket for assembly costs for a damaged, poor quality product!! The Customer Service person had a very bad attitude and I had to chase numerous times for my refund.

Chris came on his own and did a great job and really fast ! Brilliant job ! Would recommend Chris very professional I would highly recommend him 5*****

I recently purchased an 18ft x 8ft shed from Total Sheds and I couldn’t be happier with the result.

From the initial order through to delivery and construction, the whole process was straightforward and professional. The quality of the timber and workmanship has exceeded my expectations, and the finished building looks fantastic in the garden.

What impressed me most was the solid construction and attention to detail. Even before completion, it was clear this wasn’t a typical flimsy garden shed. The framework is substantial, the cladding is well finished, and everything fitted together as it should.

Having spent a lot of time researching different suppliers before making a decision, I’m delighted I chose Total Sheds. The shed offers excellent value for money and has completely transformed the space.

I would have no hesitation in recommending Total Sheds to anyone looking for a high-quality garden building. A first-class product backed by first-class service.

If you are in the market for a garden shed my advice to you based on facts is to avoid this company.

The quality of the materials used is very poor at best. The finish quality of the product is even worse & the life span is just abysmal.

Nearly £1000 for a 8 x 10 pent roof shed & having assembly/build issues & poor customer service didn’t really start the experience very well. However once the shed was erected it became perfectly obvious this is a very poor quality product with the gaps, splits, cracks in the timber. Tongue & groove side walls that you can already slide fingers through just shows how badly it is all put together. Let’s be honest we are not gifted with extreme heat so being timber you would expect a little movement but after two weeks installed & now almost a year I will be replacing the shed as rain water gets in badly. Not through the roof but through all sides, windows & panels. It’s horrendous.

So avoid buying something from this company & choose wisely as it will 100% fail & split and you WILL have problems with it.

I can’t even say buy cheap & buy twice as this was not a cheap shed. Far from cheap compared to some available online.

Very poor & I would never buy from this company again.

With regards to your response. Do not in anyway consider this a fault of ours. It was reported on arrival of the shed that the pallet was very poorly wrapped many parts being cracked & split, the floor not the correct size as to the sides, front and rear panels etc. The door parts missing, cover strips missing. Contact was made & images provided but did your company rectify this issue. The answer to this is NO.
I'm very well aware it is made of timber. I am very well aware of warranty periods. I made contact with your company the very weekend the shed arrived. The shed was assembled/attempted to be assembled. All instructions SUPPLIED by yourselves were followed but because it is made of timber and cost in the region of £1000 do you think this is well within acceptable terms that every panel & every side has the damage & defects that it had. The images sent in very clearly showed. Laughable. Maybe you could opt for plan B in the script book.

All contact was made WELL within the warranty period. Considering it was on the arrival of the order as this is when it was assembled. My review however was not added at the same time because I was allowing your company time to rectify the matter but your company chose to ignore this.

After copious amounts of phone calls from this company about the poor review I had left. I was asked that if a reimbursement of a percentage of the actual cost of the shed was refunded to me would I consider editing or removing the negative review. An amount was agreed however I confirmed I was only happy to edit the review in saying a refund was given, not removing the review. I was even receiving WhatsApp messages from Rachel who was the member of the team trying to secure this agreement. Everything was responded to & all I was ever interested in was purchasing a shed that was of good quality & not one that just split and formed huge gaps in the tongue & groove boards that you could fit you fingers through. Anyway an amount was offered & then amazingly everything went quiet, complete radio silence. I have made every effort to reach out calling & messaging the person back using their form of contact (WhatsApp), the messages were delivered & read but completely ignored all of which I have given 2 months for this to be responded to.

So AGAIN please everyone stay well clear of this company. They deliver poor quality sheds but claim & market they are of the highest quality but evidence speaks for itself. The the company approach you to offer you a small amount of money considering the actual cost of the shed in return to have you edit the review on Trustpilot. To be completely honest this is just misinforming other potential buyers of their products.

They cannot & have not even delivered a medium quality shed. They contact you to put the blame on the fact that the order may have been left outside in wet weather at the freight forwarders so has maybe gotten wet causing it to warp, twist, split, crack & shrink. I mean come on, it's not like the shed is not going to be in the wet once built and sat in your garden is it. I understand timber moves but being able to fit your hand into the shed between several tongue and groove boards to me is a sign & clear proof that these products are not even fit for purpose.

So Rachel thank you for contacting me. Thank you for providing me with supporting evidence in my review should I need to produce it. I have attempted to reach out to you again & again. You have read the messages & chose to ignore them.

I will move on now knowing that this matter cannot be resolved by such a poor company & I will order myself another new shed from a more reputable supplier.

Suppliers absolutely trashed it when packaging it.
They drove screws all through it to hold it ruining the wood.
Couldn't even get the screws out cause they bent them that badly.

I requested the door on the left, and I left a drawing for the folks doing the install showing the same, and left instruction with the company's main office . . . . but the door has ended up on the right. The build quality is (to be honest) shocking. Many panels are buckled, and one is already broken. Communication has dried-up as soon as issues were raised (and photos sent) - so I have no option now but to post this review. This was not a cheap option, but looking at the state of the build I seriously doubt how well it will last. The door (and lower part of the pent roof) is also ridiculously low - this is almost certainly my fault for not reading every dimension . . . but be warned !

Ordered a 10ft x 6ft pent shed
Solid built but few things need looking at.
Ordered 2 x 4ft panels with windows & only one got delivered even sent a diagram & they said no problem.after erecting the shed I noticed that the panelling does not line up on each panel so the 2ft section is one level & the 2 x 4ft sections are the same so one side of the shed has 3 different slat levels.

I brought a shed (order number #S-000386005) and it was delivered very fast. I haven't had a chance to put it up yet but so far so good.
