Great tools,good service, and delivery. Enough said.

This company keep sending marketing emails (SPAM) to my old unique Ebay email address - including an invitation to provide a review on Trustpilot.

This activity is not only in breach of Ebay T&C - from where they originally obtained my unique Ebay email address, it is also in breach of current UK Data Protection Laws (GDPR) which states that companies may NOT send marketing emails to individuals unless they have obtained and retain evidence that permission for such emails was provided.

Given that Toolsave obtained my email address following an Ebay purchase, that permission was never requested or obtained.

If you wish to deal only with organisations who respect UK data protection laws and your rights not to be SPAMmed then avoid Toolsave and their like.

Mitre saw I’ve purchased is spot on I’ve worked it hard and it still works as it did when I first got it, top marks

I recently purchased 2 sanders from the lumberjack range a 125mm orbital sander and a 3” belt sander both are excellent products and the customer service was excellent as well with plenty of info into the postage and delivery stage my products arrived well wrapped and on the day they told me and I live in France so I would highly recommend this company

I bought the 100 mm mitre drop saw to cut through new railway sleepers and I also use it to o composite decking, it is a great bit of kit for both jobs 👌

Had a couple of tools now the double bevel mitre saw and a lathe both are well worth the money

Purchased from Toolsave/Lumberjack tools before and decided to purchase a BS254 bandsaw. Arrived very quickly after Christmas and was of excellent quality and very well packaged. However, decided to swap for the BS305 bandsaw. Toolsave/ Lumberjack were very helpful and allowed me to swap. Again arrived quickly and they also collected my return item.

I would highly recommed ToolsaveLumberjack tools, the quality is excellent and the customer service is first class

Since my review of 4th November I have tried to resolve this matter through RetailADR (to which Toolsave does not subscribe - I wonder why?) and have now referred the matter to the Trading Standards Department via Citizens Advice Consumer Service.
In the meantime I have been thinking. If this company ignores communications and treats customer complaints in this disinterested and ignorant manner when the customer is endeavouring to spend money with them, what chance would I have if I ever needed after sales support? From their reaction to my suggestion that the product could be split into two packages to solve the overweight problem that the product "comes in a box" (no mention of the fact that the legs etc. will not be connected in any event) it is clear that this company is not a proper tool company of the ilk of Axminster Tool etc. but merely a company that moves imported boxes which happen to contain tools!
On that basis I have concluded that it would be most unwise to risk purchasing any of these boxes and contents and I would strongly advise that if you are considering such a purchase - DON'T.

Great service, very prompt delivery, large and powerful machine for the money.
Only problem appeared with a lower guide bearing that jammed due to sawdust ingress into the bearing (I made plastic cover from a length of bathroom sealant cartridge to stop sawdust falling into bearing). Staff helpful, the replacement bearing was replaced without quibble, but due to postage problems took 3 weeks rather than 3 days. Despite this I am happy with a 5 star rating. I will look the them for the purchase of further tools

Have purchased a few Lumberjack Items, these are well built and work well.
I would say I was an intermediate user and have a woodcraft business.
Web site is easy to navigate and use. I had an opportunity to use their customer support (Jade Evans) and discovered they responded quickly and professionally overall my experience with the company has always been a positive one. Jade was a delight to converse with, as friendly as she was professional.

I was able to arrange delivery of my bandsaw at a convenient time. The staff I spoke with could not have been more helpful, and were able to give good advice.

I’ve had this belt sander for a while and it is a beast. It can remove a lot of material really quickly especially with a 60 grit belt on. The belts are easy to change, you just twist a little knob, start the belt on the roller and switch it on and it will changeover in no time. Literally about 30 seconds. You can also flip the sander upside down and use it as a bench sander. The unit stays really stable anyway but for extra stability just put a 3/4 inch or 18mm block under the handle side and it won’t rock at all even with lots of pressure. The bag doesn’t really do anything like with most tools but if you hook it up to a shop vac it captures most of the dust. Though I had to duct tape mine as my vac doesn’t fit. I’ve used this sander on soft and hardwoods (Iroko and Oak) and it has handled everything I’ve thrown at it. It’s comfortable to hold and not too heavy but it’s solid. I absolutely recommend this product.
