Garbage, this furniture is garbage.
I would not order another piece of furniture from Timberustic. The communication was nonexistent. When I ordered my table the estimated time was 2 weeks…it was closer to 10 weeks and nothing happened on the table until I started emailing. The table looks nothing like the picture. It’s supposed to be a live edge wood table and it’s a piece of rough wood painted to look like a piece of wood with grain. The top and legs are two different colors. Horrible quality, horrible craftsmanship, just plain horrible. We spent close to $6000 and it’s worth maybe $200. Buy your furniture elsewhere.

This is Alan Smith. I worked with you directly by email throughout this order, and I’m very sorry to hear that you are disappointed with the table and with your overall experience.
I do want to clarify a few important details. The Ravennor Live Edge Solid Wood Dining Table is designed with a cleaner, more rectangular live-edge profile, rather than a heavily irregular organic slab edge. The table we produced followed that design direction, and we sent production photos at both the raw stage and the finished stage for your review before shipment. You approved the raw table and said it “looks great,” and after the finished photos were sent, you also confirmed that it “looks good.”
The table is made from solid natural wood, not laminate, veneer, or printed faux wood. The finishing process can include staining, toning, and grain-enhancement work to blend natural imperfections in the slab and create a more consistent finished surface. This is part of the handcrafted finishing process. Natural wood can also vary in grain, tone, and stain absorption, especially between the tabletop and the base/legs, because they are separate wood pieces.
I also apologize that the production timeline took longer than originally expected. I understand your frustration with the delay. However, I respectfully disagree that there was no communication, as we did communicate by email, sent production updates/photos, and waited for your approval before continuing with the next stages.
If the color difference, finish, or craftsmanship appears significantly different in person compared with the approved photos, we absolutely want to review it. Please send us clear photos and videos of the specific issues you are seeing, including the tabletop, legs, finish, color difference, and any areas you believe are defective. Once we receive them, we will review the case carefully and work with you on the appropriate next step.
Fabulous customer service
Alan Smith was courteous, prompt, and informative. He kept me apprised of where the process was at, and asked for my approval every step of the way. I really appreciated the sketches, pictures, and videos. The shelving piece came and was packaged extremely well so as not to be damaged. The only hiccup in the entire process was when the Postal Service delivered it, asking for a tariff payment by check or cash. That caught me off guard so I mentioned to Alan that it would have been nice to have had a heads up regarding the tariff in advance. He apologized and promptly refunded the amount. I couldn’t be happier with Timberustic or the piece purchased from them.

Amazing experience working with the Team on the order. Only bummer is that none of the shelves allow for a Vinyl record to stand completely upright. Would advise changing the dimensions in the future.

Bad experience with the company
I ordered a product from this website. I received an order confirmation and my credit card got charged. Ten days after I received this order confirmation, I was contacted by a company representative. They informed me that the product I ordered had an incorrect price listed online. Even though I already ordered and had a confirmation for this product, I could either pay an additional $500 for it or just have my order cancelled. They refunded me, but I would not recommend shopping with this company or its affiliates. I didn't realize companies could just request additional money after a confirmed order.

We understand your frustration, and your review accurately describes the situation. You placed the order at the price shown on our website, received an order confirmation, and were later contacted after we discovered that the price for this specific product and size had been entered incorrectly. We also acknowledge that we should have identified the error and contacted you much sooner.
Timberustic is a working woodshop, and each piece is individually built. Our pricing is calculated closely around the actual costs of materials, skilled labor, finishing, packaging, and shipping—not inflated to cover excessive branding or marketing expenses. Unfortunately, fulfilling this particular order at the incorrectly listed price would have resulted in a substantial loss.
We were also unwilling to compensate for our pricing mistake by quietly changing the materials, construction, or quality of your piece. Instead, we chose to be transparent about the error and offered either the option to proceed at the correct price or receive a full refund. When the revised price was not acceptable, your order was canceled and fully refunded to the original payment method.
We understand why this experience was disappointing, and I sincerely apologize again for both the pricing error and the delay in communicating it to you.
