Thonk Recensioni

Ordered some extra knobs for my DFAM and then my Subharmonicon. Great stuff, and great communication and service.
I ended up messing up my second order from. They caught it preemptively and immediately, reached out and asked if I really meant to order what I did, which, of course, I didn’t. Within an hour, the order was updated, the differing money refunded to me, and the order on its merry way through their system.
Oh, and their processing of their orders is superfast too.

Preferred dealer. Yeah. I might buy more stuff from them just in order to support them and because I thoroughly enjoyed dealing with them. :-D

Will at THONK is a consummate businessman running a terrific business. I’ll be buying again, without a doubt.

First, we exchanged numerous emails as I tried to settle on just what I needed to purchase. Will was gracious, informative, and offered useful guidance to this American based on his own experience. No matter how many follow-up questions I asked.

Second, Thonk shipped out quickly and, even crossing the Atlantic and traveling by the lowest cost means, my package arrived in 9 days (from order to arrival) with email notices at each step. I have received more expensive packages from US-based companies with much less certainty about their arrival.

Third: sturdy packaging (a small box, not just a flimsy envelope) and perfect product. Will’s recommended knobs for my mini-synths fit perfectly! They look like they shipped with the original synthesizers themselves.

In all I bought a batch of knobs for 7 synths and I am thoroughly satisfied. As I said, I’m confident there will be more purchases from Thonk in my future.

Thonk has been my go-to Eurorack DIY shop since 2018. With a few orders per year (including kits and parts), I only recently encountered my first issue (receiving one wrong knob color among several ordered). The support team was very helpful, and we quickly resolved it. Kudos to them!

A great essential resource for synth DIY. Service is always fast, with good order progress reports. Very helpful with details, like helping correct an order when I made a mistake with some parts.
All goods are well packed, with recyclable materials. The packing boxes are great for work in progress.
They do very good kits too, 'Plinky' is a standout.
I have been dealing with them for a few years now, and wholeheartedly recommend them as a supplier.

Excellent experience provided a fabricated tool that is much needed in the modular industry thanks guys for getting what I needed over to the US in a quick fashion No Doubt

I was missing some transistor parts for a DIY build and the Thonk team sent me replacements the next day! Great support! Thank you!

Company helped me source a tough to find part and always sends orders quickly and in great packaging.

I’ve been a customer of Thonk for about 6 years and they’re consistently great. They recently went above and beyond to help supply parts to finish a university project. Packaging is always great, website is easy to use. Friendly people too, they’ve even advised me on projects in the past.

Thonk always delivers... period...

Thonk never fail to deliver a great service.
Friendly helpful customer services who have gone above and beyond in helping me figure out the sometimes confusing world of DIY modular..
So blessed to have them in the community.

really well-stocked shop, fast shipping and with fabulous customer support. I can only recommend everyone to buy their next object of desire from them

Superb company with a fascinating range of stuff, really reasonably priced and with great customer service.
I've bought several kits from them, all well packed and quickly delivered. In the rare cases where I've needed to contact the company directly, they've always been super kind and helpful.

Firstly ignore the lunatic negative so called 'reviews' Thonk are just amazing!
They sell DIY synth/modular kit at great prices.
I've ordered loads of kits from them and and each has been faultless!
Their postage costs are fair and delivery is always prompt.
Their support is second to none. I've always had friendly replies to my questions.
So, I can say, based on my experience, you'll have zero problems ordering your projects from Thonk.
You can save lots of money building your own modules.
Go for it!

Excellent customer service! Thonk was swift in responding to an urgent order inquiry for their useful and stylish tall knob toppers.

I've bought a few things from Think, and most recently I forgot to add on a small item to an order, so emailed and asked to add it. The response was super fast, I followed instructions and they upgraded my delivery (I'd chosen the super slow because I'm stingy) to 24hr, which was a lovely surprise for my Saturday morning. Really happy, will be ordering again

thanks for the support, they helped me find a solution even though I had not purchased the product from them, really a great help

Fast delivery, great selection of DIY hardware. Ordered here multiple times and will continue doing so while recommending it to everyone interested in DIY synths.
