Good price and swift delivery. The website didn't work on my phone (I couldn't see the basket to be able to check out) so I had to redo my order on a tablet which was frustrating.

Wonderful customer service

I needed my wine by the weekend and reached out to check if it'd arrive on time. Bronwyn responded quickly and went the extra mile to arrange next day delivery to make sure I got the delivery before my special occasion. Thank you so much.

Hi Oliver - we're sorry to hear about what sounds like an extremely unusual situation here. We have contacted the vineyard on this matter and they assure us that they have never had a single corked bottle with the modern type of cork that they use with these wines, and so to have two together sounds extraordinary. We did not hear anything from you directly on this matter, and have reached out to you, without reply, the only thing we've seen on this, is this review - please contact us so that we can discuss and resolve.

First time using The Wine Engine

First time using The Wine Engine, and with all new online purchases of a certain size I was slightly dubious. I ordered 10 bottles of Chataeu Talbot on a Monday as I wanted them for the weekend. After a couple of days I hadn’t received a tracking link so I got in touch. The founder spoke with me directly and ensured that the wine arrived for the weekend, which it did. Excellent wine and brilliant customer service. Highly recommend! Will be using again,

Straight forward cancelling

Cancelling the subscription on the website was not possible as I kept receiving a notification that’ cancellation not possible’, however they have reached out to me and I tried again to cancel this evening and it was very straight forward. (I wonder whether the cancelation would not work when I tried previously because I was due an order that day).

Hi Donald - sorry to hear you've had trouble cancelling the subscription. We've reached out to you separately, and can confirm that subscriptions can be cancelled any time on the website. Simply log in to your account - then click the large green button in the top left "View My Subscription" and if you click through here there are a range of options available to you to skip the next order, pause the subscription or to cancel the subscription and any of these can be done at any time. Wine can be purchased on The Wine Engine as a one-time purchase or on subscription in order to gain subscription savings and access the personalised wine recommendations, you can toggle between one-time purchase and subscription in the checkout basket. Really impressed

Really impressed with The Wine Engine. Great service, seamless experience, and such a clever concept for personalising your wine selection. Highly recommend to anyone who enjoys discovering great wine!

No looking back!

I was encouraged by the waitress at a local restaurant to try the sparkling wine with my lunch. I’ve tried many “alcohol free wines” and they have not vaguely resembled wine.
This is a stunning exception. I absolutely love it. It feels like a real treat. I’m sure I’ll be trying the other wines in the Lautus range.
On top of that, I found the communication and service from this company to be first rate.

Hi Andrew - we did have a Black Friday Sale across the site last weekend, as was shown on the website banner and various communications. Sorry if you were disappointed that one of the wines you'd bought previously was on offer. We also noticed that you managed to get a number of them in the Black Friday Sale as well at the great prices which is great. We do seasonal promotions and features on various wines - the best way to track these is by joining our mailing lists or following The Wine Engine on social media.
