Avoid this company at all cost! Scam company, do not answer emails of calls and so many customer like myself receive damaged goods. Total scam! How they are allowed to operate is beyond me

Product damaged when delivered. No response via email. They don't pick up the phone when answering

DO NOT BUY ANYTHING FROM THIS COMPANY. Items arrived in the worst packaging I have ever seen. Needless to say the items were damaged and I had to return them. I’ve only been refunded in part and as their customer service is non-existent - they do not respond to emails - I will have to take them to the small claims court. Please be warned and do not be tempted to buy anything from them. They are the worst company I have ever come across.
Buyers beware
Buyers beware! Bought a console table from The White Lighthouse which arrived damaged and of poor quality. I have messaged the company and sent photos of damage, but have received no reply two weeks on. What a shame...
Very happy with my purchases & service
Great experience shopping with this retailer. The website isn’t the easiest to navigate, however the website itself is full of great home decor pieces. Delivery was fast, packaged in a used box, which I love as this helps be more sustainable. I love shopping from local small businesses. I would definitely recommend this retailer for homeware & home decor.
Really would recommend, very happy with my order
I've just relieved quite a big order (spent over £200 on various things). I came straight here to write a review as I'd read the bad reviews just after placing my order and was worrying. I've not been asked to write this review and obviously I can't comment on previous bad reviews but in the interests of balance and fairness, I wanted to write on here that I absolutely would recommend the company and the products are gorgeous and very high quality.
Everything was packaged well with fragile stickers etc. Arrived within 5 working days of ordering. The order was complete and I'm absolutely thrilled with the quality of all the items. I think the prices are really reasonable. The throws in particular are heavy weight and excellent quality for the price.
I would definitely recommend ordering from here and would hope that the vast majority have the positive shopping experience that I did. I'm really glad I discovered them on Instagram. The products are as beautiful as they look.
SCAM!! Abusive and threatening
Bought a small item. No confirmation email or estimated date of delivery. So 1 month later I followed up just asking when was it due to be delivered as I had no idea when.
Didn't get any response.
So I emailed again one month later.
No response.
I tried calling several times, never any answer.
I tried messaging on Instagram, they block messages.
I tried messaging on Facebook but they don't allow the option.
Finally they responded by email asking for more details of the purchase. I gave them the details needed (they didn't need these details eg. what's your email address?... eh look at where the email came from?!) and then no response, days passed and they didn't get back to me.
I emailed back asking for a response.
Nothing... then I received a noticed that my payment was partially refunded.
I emailed them again asking for a response as they never told me anything about the purchase or refund or anything.
If they want give me a full refund but don't partially refund it without any indication of what's happening. They still have part of my payment and I can't imagine I will be getting my purchase. It's not much money to be honest but if they do that to ever online purchase it will be the perfect little scam as people just see "refund" and not realise it was only some but not all the money paid.
UPDATE: Just received a series of abusive emails from their customer support. SERIOUSLY STAY CLEAR OF THESE ABSOLUTE PSYCHOS!

Had to block their abuse and threatening emails.

Non existent (literally) customer service
They have beautiful stuff on their website, and everything I have bought from them previously has been great. But my latest cabinet came damaged, around 10 days ago. I have emailed numerous times and never received an acknowledgement or reply, called and handwritten a letter( very 1980s!) to no avail. It's a real shame that this will have to be my last purchase from them as a result. £115 for a broken cabinet is not great. Sadly if they don't reply this week, I'll have to issue a Small Claims Form which is a real pity
update: White Lighthouse replied to an N1 Small Claims form I sent (after having ignored over 10 previous emails and phone calls asking for help on their returns procedure), to say that the only thing they are prepared to do, is refund the cupboard if I carry it to the post office for return. which I am physically unable to do. So BE AWARE only buy things from White Lighthouse if you are physically able to carry them to your local post office :D :D I will now be submitting the claim form to the court as a result. See attached photo of the rude emails they send! No one's refusing to do anything, Im too small and weak to lift the heavy large object into my car, and out again, and carry it the 500 yards to the post office (which doesn't have parking).

I ordered a bedside locker from this company months ago and never received it. Despite sending numerous emails I never received a reply from them. So they took my money but never sent the goods! STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY. I don't know how they are getting away these actions

Really impressed with The White Lighthouse and my rug, great service and product, would definitely recommend this company.
Don’t be fooled
This review does not deserve one star but unfortunately it’s a minimum requirement..
My partner ordered three items for our new home in October. They looked nice on the website and we saw they had a good following on Instagram. We also have a small guest room so thought the stool in particular would be perfect as a small side table. After ordering the three items, my partner recognised that the address had defaulted to our old address. He rang up the company straight away and left a message on the answer phone and also an email.
Despite this and several other attempts to call and email to chase the order, no items were sent. So he had to go through PayPal to get his money back which then opened a case between PayPal and the company. They replied saying they sent it to the original delivery address but this was a blatant lie because we have a forwarding address.
After months of chasing the order, we are finally getting our money back but after months of waiting and wasting time contacting The White Lighthouse.
My only advice is to not get fooled by their Instagram or boasts of great customer service because you may end up penniless or considerably frustrated!
Update: Surprisingly the company can respond promptly to bad reviews but not to emails or calls regarding any of your orders..
It’s very disappointing that they’re trying to accuse us now of conning the company when
1) We didn’t ever receive our order or even a dispatch date
2)We have logs of all emails chasing the order
3)They’re the ones who took our money and did not send any goods
The references to our order only being £60 is also disgraceful. To some people this is a lot of money and regardless of this, you should still receive some kind of customer service.

Horrendous!!
Horrendous!!! I ordered a lantern from their website. Instead I received two parcel, both containing star shaped wall decor, and one of the them had been addressed to a different person. I immediately contacted them and they were helpful, they arranged a collection for the parcels. When the courier has arrived, he only collected the parcel that had been delivered to the wrong address. I still got the parcel with the thing I didn’t order. Also they didn’t tell me if they’re going to make a refund or send the item I ordered, now I definitely want the refund and I’ll not be buying anything from this company ever!
I can understand they made a mistake but if they can’t even solve it, it shows their incompetence.
Update: YES THEY SOLVED THE PROBLEM BY BEING RUDE AND ACCUSING ME OF KEEPING AN ITEM INTENTIONALLY. I paid for the delivery and sent the remaining item to them. They think everything is about the money, so sad!

olive tree
ordered a olive tree then saw the reviews afterwards so was worried about delivery but it arrived on time with no problems and product is great!! Would use this company again.

It seems it’s not just me who has received goods which are inadequate. No working phone, no reply to emails and they’ve deleted my comments on Facebook asking for responses! Horrific customer service, will not be returning!!! DO NOT GET SUCKED IN
I had an item with a black mark on it (technically this is a faulty product) so asked for a PARTIAL NOT FULL refund… the email I had eventually, I copy and paste…

Doesn’t even deserve a star!!! Absolutely shocking service! I placed an order on the 6th and by the 23rd still hadn’t had any updates regarding delivery! I have emailed them multiple times, sent them messages through Instagram and even commented on one of there recent posts in order to get some response but instead it just got ignored and deleted! I will be going through my back to get a refund back!
AVOID WITH ALL COSTS!!!!!

Damaged goods, no refund and no reply to emails
Bought the milking stool which arrived damaged so gave straight back to the delivery driver. Asked if a new one could be sent but received no response. Had to buy it again as it was a Christmas present, expecting to get a refund for the returned item. Have emailed twice to enquire where the refund is and not even received a response. Shocking service.

SHOCKING SERVICE! Received my order damaged, emailed them several times to which I had NO responses. Never answer their phones. Ordered a replacement - they never delivered my goods and still have my money! DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY.
