Avoid this company at all cost! Scam company, do not answer emails of calls and so many customer like myself receive damaged goods. Total scam! How they are allowed to operate is beyond me

Ordered a few items from this company and most of it came quickly and I was really pleased with purchase and emailed them regarding missing items and then decided to look at reviews and thought I’ve had it but couple of days later got an email to apologise and next day my missing items arrive so i have given 5 stars as I was really pleased with items I ordered and quality of them maybe I’ve just been lucky or they are trying to improve there online service

As expected from other reviews no response from this company at all despite 3 emails being sent after they sent wrong item which was damaged . I wanted returns label which didn’t seem unreasonable in view that they were at fault but they didn’t even have the decently to reply .My honest review would be to avoid
They keep on advising trust pilot to ask for information. (2xalready) and if I don’t the review will be removed
I guess this is means to get rid of negative reviews trust pilot should know better !
Bad Business
Awful business, never responded to why they sent the incorrect order, no answer on calls or emails, just smoke screen. Reviews are terrible. Would not recommend or ever deal with again. AVOID

Damaged goods due to poor packaging
Sadly I am adding my negative experience to the long list of others about this company. The White Lighthouse Ltd has a very stylish website selling all sorts of lovely household items but their customer service seems to be non-existent. My 2 table lamps arrived with the lamp shades squashed and damaged due to the inadequate packaging - 2 boxes of soft cardboard which had clearly been cut from a previously used box. They say they will refund the postage for faulty goods (rather than issue a postage paid label or code like other companies do). Despite having received the parcels back 2 months ago they have continued to ignore my emails and have not refunded the £8.71 postage that I had to pay. I am fortunate in that at least they have refunded the money for the damaged table lamps, which I note from this website has not always been the case for other customers!

Damaged on arrival
Ordered a light. Arrived dent and broken. Lampshade totally crushed and useless. Base bad marks and didn't look like picture. Poor communication and they are now ignoring emails and ignoring refund request. DO NOT USE! Total nightmare and waste of money.
Poor Communication
Ordered an item from the website and then about a week later got a notification from PayPal that I had been refunded the money with no reason why? Like if it wasn’t in stock they could have just sent me an email to let me know but the fact they didn’t even communicate this to me is bizarre. I then send them an email AND a message on their Instagram page and just get completely ignored. It’s a shame because they have some gorgeous items on their website but absolutely horrendous customer service.

So it seems they did leave a message on the PayPal refund email however it wasn’t clear to read. In future an email would probably be the best port of communication and someone should also maybe tend to the Instagram inbox too. Another point is if things are out of stock online then make this evident as there was nothing on to say they were and I was still able to complete a transaction.
Got a broken item
Got a broken item - 4 emails have been sent and yet nothing has been done nor any responses either ! Shocking that a business can trade like this ! Surprised they have no contact number or social media in where you can make a comment on ( They have but does not allow you to leave comments ) !!

What a shock how appalling this company is . The sites appear so polished & look professional , items stylish . Customer service is NON existent - complete avoidance to numerous e mails all with reasonable requests re:return , phone answer message refers to e mail , will not engage by Instagram and leave you as a customer completely stuck as to what to do .In my case with 2 side tables , that are scratched and stapled , shoddy , and in a huge box made for 4 ( states on side) asking how to return for refund and being ignored totally !!!

I ordered 2 bedside table which i was really excited about but they never arrived.
I had a delivery confirmation email but no actual product.
I emailed them and they said it was delivered, i asked for proof of delivery and they sent me a photo of a door. It was not my door! I sent them a photo of my actual door and explained that the photo they sent was not my door, in fact it looked like a business maybe.
Since then they have ignored every email i have sent them.
They just robbed me of £150.00 and i cant seem to do anything about it
Lovely products but bad customer service.
Lovely products but customer service is not great. I purchased quite a few items which have all been great quality and what I expected but i needed to make a return for two of the items. I returned them over 4 weeks ago now and still haven’t had a refund , they are saying they cant find the order and have now stopped replying to my emails. Its a shame because i would of bought from them again if it wasn’t for this experience.

Oh how I wish I had read the reviews before ordering. Lovely website, shocking quality of item. Bought a PAWTUCKET STOOL looked cute, on arrival it was shoddy splintered wood nailed together (badly). Absolutely awful. Have been emailing them for over 10 days with no response. I have opened a Paypal dispute and lo and behold they have asked for me to return item for a refund, however, they are simply ignoring my request for a pre-paid return label.
Its not up to me to pay for a return on a damaged item ... All I can say is, what an absolute terrible company. The poorest of customer service ever.
Do NOT order from them.

I have to give a one star for the lack of communication, their after care service is very poor and they still have an old covid 19 excuse for delayed parcels! I have noticed the Company respond to the odd positive comment stating that the negative comments are not warranted, well they are otherwise we would write a positive review if we had a positive comment to write. Great website with great products but the customer after sale or lack of is really going to be the death of this Company, you will lose many repeated customers. It does not take long to respond to emails. I do ironically keep ordering from them but twice now I have had this issue, if there was another Company selling similar items I would order from there. In business you have to take the good with the bad, it is constructive criticism and they really should take heed.

BEWARE! Ordered an item it came damaged and was very poor quality, now they are ignoring my emails, on social media they only allow limited comments and reviews!
No customer care
Update 19/6/2023 still awaiting refund of £8.71 for postage incurred from returning damaged goods back to them which that stated would be refunded and another £8.71 that was deducted from the second order that they cancelled without explanation. Rubbish service don’t buy from this company!!!
They have an amazing website, the products are excellent but customer care is rubbish!
Initially ordered two lamps - one arrived with a damaged lamp shade. When I notified them, I was offered £10 discount which I rejected so I sent that one back at a delivery cost of £8.71. I received £65 refund and am still waiting the delivery charge refund which I was told I am due.
I love the lamps they match my room perfectly, but I would like a pair.
So, I ordered another one at the same time on the 27th April which I am still waiting for. When I emailed them yesterday I shortly received notification via Paypal that I'm getting a refund of £56.29.
I'm so confused - is that a mistake on their part for the £8.71 refund or have they cancelled my last order and not refunded me the £65???? Sadly, I suspect the latter.
Now I have one lamp that I don't want and I suspect am out of pocket for £8.71 (delivery cost) and £8.71 (deducted from my £65 refund) but who knows they don't reply to emails!!!!
