Smooth experience, really helpful and completed to a great standard in even better time

The whole process from quote to installation was outstanding! Sam came round to quote, he was amazing, not pushy at all, spent time going through all the options available. After we accepted the quote, we were kept informed of the progress then as soon as the shutters arrived they booked us in for installation. Mark the installer was great, arrived early, worked really hard and tidied up as he went along. I would recommend the Shutter Studio, they were fantastic!

Absolutely terrible service from this company. I purchased Venetian blinds which were installed in my apartment and have since failed just outside their 12-month warranty period. In my experience, a quality product of this type should last many years, not barely over a year.

I spoke with Omar, who refused to offer any solution other than re-ordering and paying again for replacement blinds. There was no acknowledgement that the product failed outside of a reasonable life expectancy, nor any attempt at goodwill or compromise.

The company appears completely rigid when it comes to customer service. The products are substandard and, in my opinion, are likely to continue failing once outside the warranty period.

I am extremely disappointed with how this issue was handled and the way I was treated. As an Estate Agent who regularly deals with tradespeople and suppliers, I can honestly say this company has fallen well short of acceptable standards.

Totally professional company they keep you well informed about your shutters delivery/installation times. This is the 2nd time I have used them and they went beyond my expectations and installed my shutters the day before Christmas Eve. No fuss and no mess.The guy that installed them was professional and friendly too.I would definitely recommend them!!!

The Shutter Studio fitted my shutters a few years ago and they look as good today as they did the day they were fitted. So, it was a no brainer to contact The Shutter Studio when I needed a new blind in my kitchen. From the measuring up, choosing the fabric and having the blind fitted the process has been excellent. With Christmas fast approaching, I faced the classic last‑minute challenge: new windows needed fitting, and my existing shutters had to be dismantled and reinstalled before the holiday break. Coordinating two separate suppliers felt like a recipe for disaster — but Shutters rose to the occasion.

Just two weeks before the festive break, the job was complete: new windows installed, shutters expertly dismantled and re‑fitted. The team accommodated every request, worked with efficiency, and delivered service with a smile.

I couldn’t have asked for more. One very contented customer, now ready for Christmas.

I was surprised when I realised that David was working alone as he had shutters for 3 windows, plus Roman blinds to install. However, he is a consummate professional and undertook the work really well. He is polite, calm and obviously knows so much about carpentry. He was tidy, hoovered up afterwards and cleared all the rubbish from the site .I would definitely recommend him.

I ordered my shutters and Blinds from The Shutter Studio, for three reasons:
1. Manufactured in Kent
While their marketing materials indicate that wooden shutters are manufactured in their factory located in West Malling, Kent, only a deeper examination of the FAQ section reveals that these products are produced in China (nobody mentioned this to me at the time of purchase). This lack of clarity is misleading and undermines the trust I had in their brand.
2. Environmental sustainability
The Shutter Studio promotes itself as a company committed to reducing its carbon footprint and enhancing sustainability for the benefit of staff, customers, and the environment. However, I find it contradictory as the shutters are sourced from China, which adds considerable transportation emissions. This seems at odds with the sustainability ethos of this company.
3. 20% discount
At the time of purchase, I was offered a 20% discount; however, there was no information provided regarding the original price of the shutters. This omission leaves me unsure about the actual value of the discount and whether it reflects a genuine promotional price.

Everything started off great! Now regret not going with another provider. First visit was great, felt assured that they provided great customer service, products were great with lifetime warranty. Installation, after the tradesman had left (this is in July) I emailed with some nags I found a week later.
No response from shutter Studio. Chased 2 weeks later. Still no response. I called 2 weeks ago and spoke to someone on the phone who told me he found my email and was forwarding it to the right dept. No response. Today 18/11/2025 is my fourth time reaching to them to get the issues resolved.
DONT GO WITH THEM. Problems I found with my thousand's of pound shutters - One shutter blind is very stiff to move. Some do not close perfectly like the ones next to it. Pin in the hinges are not inserted properly. Three are sticking out in one frame. Rather than using wood to fill in large gaps I have the biggest spread of silicon with gaps. So unpleasant to see and lets in light at night through these holes. I'm glad I didn't do the whole house with this company will never be using them again. Will use another provider for the back of the house.

Really great service from the offset. Kept us informed at all stages. Times and dates were true to their word.
Luke and Dave arrived to fit our plantation shutters and were so lovely and efficient. Told us what they were going to do and kept everything tidy as they went along. Barely even noticed they had been working in each room as there was barely any mess when they finished in each room.
Really good quality shutters that have really brought new life to our rooms by letting in so much light. Thankyou so much Shutter Studio and Luke and Dave for an amazing experience 😊

Right from first consultation and seeing all options to delivery and fitting was excellent.
Luke came to fit the shutters he was such a nice man friendly helpful and told us exactly what he was doing, in fact he couldn’t do enough.
We were so pleased with the shutters and couldn’t believe how much more light came into the room and the ability to open and close sections we needed to operate.

Excellent company to deal with. Advised us on the shutters and after choosing kept us informed on the progress of the shutters being made and delivered. Alex the fitter came this morning. Was prompt and done a neat and professional job. Overall I would recommend this company.

My husband and I had visited several shutter stores and decided to try one more business called The Shutter Studio in Croydon. We were met by Lynn who was so friendly and really knowledgeable. One thing we really were impressed with was this company has a factory in Kent where they manufacture the plantation shutters. Other companies we visited the shutters were all manufactured in China. We decided we wanted to order our shutters with them for this reason. Lynn was wonderful during the whole process happy to answer any questions we had. The installation process was also terrific. Richard our installer could not have been any better. I am happy to report the plantation shutters are beautiful and we are so very happy.

Dave from Shutter Studio came today to fitter my shutters. Dave was on time, cheerful smile and explained to me the process. Dave was extremely careful whilst transferring the shutters from his van into the property. He did an excellent job and all was fitted perfectly. Dave cleared up as he went along and at the end of it my newly renovated property was as if no one had been in to do any works. Dave is friendly, well mannered and above all he is very skilled at what he does. A great asset to The Shutter Studio and I will be recommending others in the future based on my experience with The Shutter Studio and Dave as an individual.

We had great service from The Shutter Studio. My son had used them and recommended them to us, and we are very happy with the shutters. The advice from the salesman was excellent, and the fitter was very professional, and even fixed some old shutters for us. I would highly recommend this company
