I've had several items from The Scarfgiraffe and they have all been stylish and lovely quality. I did get a faulty hat once, and as soon as I let them know they replaced it straight away.

I purchased a hat as I have ruined so many sun hats packing them in my luggage and them getting misshapen. When the hat arrived, it was packaged carefully and the hat itself is gorgeous and great quality.

I have so far worn it three times on holiday and I am beyond happy with it. The hat is so convenient as it easily folds up and fits into the drawstring bag that it comes with. It perfectly pops back into shape once taken out - it’s really amazing!!

Just received my Panama hat. Beautifully made and so well packed. It exceeds expectations and it’s a perfect fit. Anyone adult looking for a small sun hat look no further. So pleased I discovered this wonderful company.

I wanted a foldable trilby.

I love their trilbies and the fact that they are genuinely foldable (with a nice bag to keep them in).

Unfortunately, I find their sizes a bit odd.

I had a trilby that I bought on holiday which fit perfectly. Inside it said 57cm, so I ordered the 57cm. It was huge!

The 55cm then became available, so I ordered one. It was still slightly too big. Unfortunately the adjustable drawstrings don't make the hat any smaller, they just enable making it tighter around the head. I have worn it a few times but it just doesn't sit comfortably and my husband said it just looks too big.

So, I thought I'd try a childen's which is 54cm. This was too small. Seems strange that there is such a difference in size between the 55cm and the 54cm.

I think that instead of making hats in several sizes, they are trying to make some of them fit different size heads with the drawstring, which doesn't work for me.

So unless they change their sizing, unfortunately, I won't be ordering another trilby from The Scarf Giraffe as I am out of options.

I have given four stars though because I can't fault the quality of the hat, its 'foldability' and nice little bag. It arrived quickly and nicely packaged and with a nice personal note inside.

I ordered my granddaughter a sun hat and it is absolutely beautiful and great quality. I’ve had it a while now but she’s only just started needing it. The drawstring inside the brim is brilliant. It keeps its shape despite being rolled - I would highly recommend.
