The Real Real is a scam they sell your products and don’t pay you anything worth the effort citing fictitious fees and never return your communications!!!!!

I paid for 2 day shipping. There was no information on the site about items having to be ordered by noon so that actually turned into 3 day shipping and I didn’t get my item in time. Very disappointing

The person gave me nasty dirty shoes when I try to return it

Sharing a nightmare:
On 3/2/2026, I purchased 4 really cute items from The RealReal (TRR), and as of 3/16/2026, 2 items are missing. TRR’s website shows the order was split into two shipments “delivered”, but that is not accurate.

TRR’s website shows 3 items were shipped from their New Jersey factory, but from that shipment- only 1 item was received.

So, from the shipment with 3 items- 2 of the items are missing.

TRR shows the split order with 3 items contained a leather tote measuring 11.75x9.5x5.75. The 1 box I received from this order measured 9x5x6.

My questions to TRR are:
-Realistically, how can the leather tote I bought from TRR measuring 11.75x9.5x5.75 fit into the only box I received with dimensions of 9x5x6?
-And so then, how can all 3 items in that split shipment be marked as “delivered” on the TRR website?
-Lastly, where are my other 2 items?

To end this nightmare- please find and ship the 2 items I purchased.

Quick and resolved the issue I was having - great customer service 10/10

Product was in great condition and shipping was fast. I have zero complaints

The Chanel loafers were exactly what I expected. I'm very happy with the quality and the accuracy of the description. The only fault was that I wish I was made aware of the tariff cost that held back the shipment for a couple of days more.

Bag was as stated in excellent condition. I love it, very pleased. Will purchase again in the future.

Purchases are fine, but I would not recommend selling with them. They lost an entire box of my items, they gave me a credit to their site for the loss but it was not worth my time or risking my items ever again! The other box I had them return because they valued the items much less than I would, and their percentages are a joke. Making $40 on a designer item is laughable I’d rather give the items away.

I recently purchased an LV Ellipse bag and overall, I am very pleased with my purchase—especially since this is my first designer bag and the first time I’ve truly splurged on myself. The shipping was impressively fast, which I really appreciated.
I do have a few pieces of constructive feedback for future listings:
- It would be helpful if the description clearly stated that the original LV dust bag is not included. This detail matters to many buyers and would set more accurate expectations.
- There was a very strong synthetic fragrance coming from the bag upon arrival and has lingered since. While I understand that pre‑owned items may have scents, sellers should take care to store luxury items in a neutral, fragrance‑free environment. The intensity of the scent was overwhelming and detracted from the unboxing experience.
