The whole experience was easy
The whole experience was easy, quick and understandable. I found the site simple to find and see the products, ordering instructions were clear and I received a confirmation email within seconds. Delivery was fairly fast and the product is exactly as shown on the site!

Excellent service ordered garden furniture on a Sunday arrived on the following Thursday unfortunately the glass top was damaged in transit it was reported and dealt with immediately new glass arrived fist thing Saturday morning and we live over 200 miles away from the store , would highly recommend and will definitely shop this excellent company in the future

Amazing customer service throughout. Always very quick to reply to my queries and have bent over backwards to help make ordering etc as easy as possible. We love the moses basket as does our little one. Packaging lovely. Couldn't recommend highly enough.

Wonderful company
Wonderful company, service and products! We bought some lovely chairs in the sale and were slightly nervous as we couldn’t see them in person before buying. We shouldn’t have worried, they’re gorgeous. We requested a slightly delayed delivery due to moving house and this was arranged for exactly the right day, no bother at all. Highly recommend.

Moses basket unsafe for baby
Unfortunately, the Moses basket we purchased wasn’t safe for our newborn baby. After two weeks of using it every night, the mattress had a big dip in it where she had been sleeping which meant she was sinking into it with her face turned sideways. I woke up to this and was really concerned. The mattress is also too small for the basket and has big gaps either side.
Lucinda tried to help us, however because we didn’t have the original packaging ( we ordered this months in advance in time for arrival of little one) we couldn’t send the product back for a refund or replacement. As the product is so big we don’t have time to go out and purchase packaging big enough to fit. We also feel like we shouldn’t have to spend this extra cost due to the fact that the product is faulty.
We felt that the correspondence was very unprofessional- although they made effort to rectify the situation - the manner in which it was done wasn’t great. We were told this doesn’t usually happen and ‘unclear on why your one is’ suggesting there was nothing wrong.
In the end we were given our ‘consumer rights’ by Charlie and told they weren’t unprofessional just ‘factual’.
So we will just have to keep the Moses basket as exactly what it is fit for, a basket for storage.

We are sorry to hear of your experience however we did do everything to attempt to sort the issue for you. I think it is important to mention here that this item has been tested and passed the relevant British Standards and you had already owned the basket for 3 months at the time of raising the issue.
We did offer to send a full replacement straight away however you then decided you no longer wanted the item so we offered to collect and issue a full refund which was well beyond any obligation on our part considering the minimal evidence provided and the fact you had owned the product for in excess of 3 months.
At this point you said you didn't have a box (which you would have done if we had sent a replacement as originally offered) and we must also send you a box. We pointed out that we were already going above and beyond and you could package the basket in any box, which bearing in mind it is a soft cotton rope basket could have been almost anything, not a big box.
Ultimately you were pointed to The consumer Rights Act which is designed to protect consumers. Your complaint and demands were not supported by the legislation so you chose to leave a 1 star review when you could have had a brand new Safety Tested basket to replace the allegedly faulty one - this seems an odd decision.

I am sorry about this. Would you be able to send a photo of this so I can see the issue clearly. The mattresses are made in a factory in the UK off site to where we are. This has never happened before so it would be good to know exactly how this has occurred so I can raise it with them. Do you feel the mattress fits snug around the edges or is they a bit of room i.e. you could put your finger down the side between the mattress and the basket?
Once I know what's causing this problem I will get a solution sorted right away.

I think the best solution is if I send the basket, mattress and sheets again and I will get everything out and check all is ok with no issues. I will then arrange for the basket, mattress and sheets you have to be collected from you (you can put them in the box the new ones arrive in) so I can get them back to access what has happened to cause this.
Our next collection is Thursday so the new ones will get to you by Monday. Would a collection by parcelforce on Tuesday be ok for you? Someone will need to be home to pass the parcel to the driver and they will have the label.

I do understand but this is now a used item. I am happy to arrange a collection for it and we will assess what the issue has been and refund accordingly. If we deem the mattress to not be faulty we will need to charge due to it no longer being usable. I am sure this will not occur, if you are sure it is obviously faulty.
Please can you confirm all items that will be returned and also let me know which day you will be home to pass the box to the driver. It will need to be ready in the box to be collected.
