The Secret Garden Florist in Beaconsfield, is a beautiful lifestyle florist that is run by Pernille and her daughter Emma that specialises in bouquets, weddings, funerals and tablescapes. We also offer vases, pots and plants. We deliver locally, including Beaconsfield, Amersham, Marlow, Bourne End, High Wycombe and Loudwater as well as Gerrards Cross, Fulmer and Farnham Common. On top of this we also offer next day nationwide delivery. We love creating bespoke bouquets to ensure that the character and desires of the recipient are portrayed through the bouquet as well as having a vast range of in season bouquets on our website.

Awful. Roses were wilted, the bow was cheap and wasn’t even a bow! Actual volume of flowers for £80 was shameful.
Given 1 star as they managed to get the flowers to the place on time.
Won’t ever be using again.
15 April: Thank you for your response on the Trust pilot review I left:
While we acknowledge your explanation, we remain very disappointed with both the quality and presentation of the flowers provided. Given the significance of a funeral, we expected a far higher standard than what was delivered. The condition of the roses and the overall arrangement did not reflect what we would consider appropriate or respectful for the occasion.
We understand that handling after delivery may be outside of your control; however, the flowers appeared to be of poor quality upon arrival, which is ultimately what we are judging our experience on. Other tributes delivered by the funeral home were not in that condition. Similarly, while no specific bow was requested, the finishing detail felt minimal and did not meet expectations for a tribute of this nature.
We also feel that the value for money was not reflected in the final arrangement, particularly given the £80 cost. Based on what was received, we do not feel this represented a full or substantial tribute.
We appreciate your apology, but unfortunately this experience has left us dissatisfied, especially considering the importance of the occasion.

We are very sorry to read your review and to hear that you were unhappy with the flowers provided, particularly given the sensitive nature of the occasion.
We would like to reassure you that all of our funeral flowers are prepared fresh on the morning of delivery. The roses were in good condition when they left us. Once the flowers are delivered to the funeral director, we unfortunately have no control over how they are stored or handled. We understand they may have been placed outside, which could have affected their appearance.
In relation to the bow, no specific request was made at the time of ordering, so we used our professional judgement to include a simple ribbon detail that we felt was appropriate for the tribute.
Regarding the size and value, the arrangement was created in line with the £80 budget and designed to be a full and respectful tribute. We also discussed different options over the phone, including that a sheath can be taken home afterwards, while a wreath can provide a more substantial display for a similar price.
We are genuinely sorry that the arrangement did not meet your expectations. This is not the experience we want any of our customers to have, especially at such a difficult time.

My friends and I thought the flowers were elegant and beautiful. Pen was delightful. The arrangement turned out smaller than I was aiming for my friend father memorial. The pricing was fair, so next time, I will know better to double the order to achieve the desired arrangement size and communicate better over an international call verses emails.

Jamestown is so lucky to have The Secret Garden! Although I don't live there, I have ordered special bouquets for my mother-in-law multiple times, and every time they exceed my expectations. They go out of their way to find things that are not in the shop, and then they carefully deliver these on-time and with great care. David, the manager - and all of his staff - are warm, caring, and very professional. Highly recommended.
