Excellent quality ingredients and clear instructions
Priory to receiving our order, we'd had a few queries and the team were very helpful with speedy responses. The box was delivered on time and was well packed, with good quality ingredients and clear instructions. The meal was delicious and more than enough for two. We'll definitely buy again.

Birthday feast with Malaysian Night Market
This was a huge success. The keenest cooks in the family, spanning 3 generations, took a recipe card each and were all delighted with the quality pf the fresh food. We loved the way the’bits' were in glass jars, easy to use and sustainable.
Best of all was the experience of eating it. And there was so much! We think we are a greedy family, and it turned out to be only 7 for a meal for 8, but everyone took a doggy bag home.
I will certainly order another for a special occasion.

Cookaway nails it with new Izakaya box!
The Cookaway Izakaya Box was an absolute delight! Generous portions and beautifully curated ingredients made the whole experience feel special. The beef tataki was especially exquisite-tender, flavorful, and restaurant-quality. The menu also includes chicken karaage, ebi furai, yakisoba and picked radish & cucumber. And I created this feast at home- I impressed myself! Recipes were easy to follow, making it enjoyable to prepare and plate everything. A perfect balance of authenticity and convenience. Highly recommend!

The Indian BBQ feast was delicious!
The Indian BBQ feast was absolutely delicious! I learned how to make an amazing chicken tikka marinade along with other delicious recipes. The highlight was the coriander mint chutney, so good with everything!
I highly recommend this gourmet foodie pack along with others. I’ll be ordering again!

Truly amazing Japanese izakaya menu
We hosted an Izakaya dinner using Cookaway’s new Japanese menu, and it was an unforgettable experience. The food was vibrant, authentic, and fun to cook together - even our very picky Japanese friend gave it full marks. Each dish had a unique twist, and the ingredients were top-notch and portions were generous. A perfect evening for food lovers!

Poor first experience using cookaway
The Chicken Souvlaki was delivered a day late which was a day after my wife’s birthday so that was disappointing. But what was worse was because the chicken had sat with courier for an extra 24 hours, when I opened the chicken, it was 50/50 as to whether it was ok. I decided to cook it and the food was nice and instructions fine.
But what was more frustrating was how my complaint was handled. The company just kept blaming the courier rather than taking proper responsibility for the issues. Also they have offered me a partial refund and a 20% credit on a next order. Really poor and unlikely to use them again. Unlikely to bring a new customer back!

Have used Cookaway a few times now and…
Have used Cookaway a few times now and cannot fault the food we are able to produce using the delivered ingredients.
The experience is targeted more to the cooking and creation aspect (compared to, say, reheating/replating of other businesses). I'd suggest the timings are a little out for inexperienced home cooks and so give yourself a little longer :)
There is a slight restriction to the menu choices but (for now at least) better to do something well than have a lot of things done badly!!

This has been a gift for my Husband for…
This has been a gift for my Husband for his birthday and we have loved making them together and the food is absolutely delicious.
The ingredients are authentic and often ones we haven't used before. They come in recyclable packaging and are clearly labelled.
Recipes are simple to follow and the schedule is great to show when you should start doing each section.
Love the addition of the Spotify playlist to accompany the dish and I find the notes about the chef really interesting.

Fantastic Greek Cookaway Experience!
I had the Greek CookAway box and was genuinely impressed from start to finish. The ingredients arrived super fresh, beautifully packaged, and clearly labeled, which made following the recipe really easy, even for someone who’s not a confident cook!
The dish itself tasted amazing. Portions were generous, and the instructions were clear and well thought out. It felt like a real treat but still had that homemade feel.
Yes, it’s a bit pricier than your average meal kit, but for a special night in or a dinner party, it’s 100% worth it.
Will definitely be ordering again!
