One of my favourite Irish businesses. Always a fast dispatch. Great range of books at brilliant prices, I'm loving picking up books I read in my youth.

With 4 little ones all loving bedtime stories we forked out alot for books, not anymore, this is a wonderful site for preloved books in amazing condition. Received a freebie and delivery was 2 days. 10/10 recommend and I will most certainly purchase again.

My first time using this website and certainly not my last. There’s a good selection of second hand books at a very good price. Though I had a slight problem using PayPal (May have been down to me), when I opted for credit card payment process was straightforward.
The books arrived very promptly in excellent condition and included a free gift book. No problems with delivery as I had opted for the courier to leave parcel in safe place beside door if nobody home.
Highly recommended and great to have an Irish alternative to Amazon.

Bought a book last week, and was quickly dispatched, and sent through GLS couriers (who don't leave parcels at door like other couriers if someone isn't in).

TheBookshop.ie have a great range of books, and are quick to issue, but the use of couriers, specifically GLS, is a pain in the behind, who failed to deliver as no-one was home, yet Ive been sitting in my sitting room at 3.30pm since 7am this morning, and no-one approached the house.

Could the items not be sent by normal post unless requested (and charged for accordingly) by courier? Would reduce costs and reduce frustration with paying customers.....

Just placed an order, 5 stars even though I haven't even received the order. So happy to have found an amazing second hand online bookshop that has fantastic prices and a lot of titles on my to read list. Delivery is free over 20 euros. Am already back browsing....

Second time ordering, the selection is great, I got an out of print book and a selection of novels for 2 euros each,shipping is fast and free over 20 euros and I got a surprise free gift in both orders!! Definitely ordering again!

I've bought many books from this company. Amazing value with free postage over 20 euro. Recently got 7 2nd hand books in top condition for 21 euro. Their website is excellent and has tons of books you might not find elsewhere. It's also updated regularly so I always seem to find books I'm interested in.

This is a great business - I ordered 5 pre-owned books for a total of €20.50, they arrived less than 48 hours later in great condition - to top it off, they gifted me a 6th book, which is a lovely touch. Thanks, I would highlight recommend this bookshop.

I was very happy with my experience here. The books arrived so quickly and in great condition, from the brand new books to the second hand ones. I was even sent a free book to try out. The selection was great and I'll be ordering again for sure. Their prices were very competitive, too.

The secondhand books are really reasonably priced as well and being in excellent condition for used books.
I received an order and dispatch confirmation as well as tracking information. The order was received within two business days and well packaged. This is an exceptional company to deal with and I will definitely order again in the near future!

I was looking for few classics and ran into this website. Used books are in excellent condition, delivery was fast, I had all books in a week, got notification of delivery and able to track it exactly. Even got a book for a present as well. Very thoughtful and great service. Will buy again and so should you.

The Bookshop provide excellent value and fast delivery. They also buy second hand books - great if one wishes to declutter.

Just took delivery of my second batch. They have a great selection of classic and modern literature at incredible prices. Orders over 20 euro have free shipping (for me this was 9 or 10 books) and they even threw in a free book as a gift. Orders are shipped really quickly, even taking Covid into account. Highly recommend.
